Your errors indicate a corrupted blockchain. Unfortunately, the only way to solve this issue is to delete the blockchain (data.mdb) and resync from scratch.

It looks to me like there needs to be a database repair/recover tool added to the roadmap.

Star Trek Themed Monero Ransomware Makes an Appearance
The fear of cybercriminals and hackers switching to Monero has come true. The latest Monero ransomware to hit the internet, takes inspiration from the popular science fiction, Star Trek and goes by the name “Kirk” as in Captain James T Kirk of the starship USS Enterprise.
A decade ago, the global success of cryptocurrencies would have seemed like something out of a science fiction. But not anymore, like the robots in Isaac Asimov’s classic sci-fi, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are as real as air and water. But like everything, these cryptocurrencies come with their own set of challenges. Criminals are increasingly misusing the ease of use, lack of central authority controlling the digital currency, combined with a certain degree of anonymity associated with the. The Bitcoin demanding ransomware are a good example of that.url=http://www.newsbtc.com/2017/03/18/star-trek-monero-ransomware-kirk/]Read more[/url]

Not that different from Bitcoin: https://www.monero.how/monero-transaction-fees
But I guess Bitcoin mempool is empty right now.

But it is normal that with raise in price also Fees goes up before are adjusted.  Monero is 20% more experience today as it was yesterday so that means you also pay 20% more for your transaction fee.

Hi! I am intersted at Monero. I have an idea for it. What about creating a p2p lending platform based on monero?
P.S. Peer-to-peer lending, sometimes abbreviated P2P lending, is the practice of lending money to individuals or businesses through online services that match lenders directly with borrowers.

Monero is great and I've heavily invested into it

That's hard to verify because I don't see your name here.

https://getmonero.org/getting-started/donate/hall-of-fame

If you are not satisfied with the pace of development, get on that list along with the rest of us who are heavily invested.

Wait what ? Cheesy Cheesy  Hhahaha. So you're trying to imply that this is a proper governance model ? Donation based ? Cheesy Oh, my...

The donation based FFS got Monero a GUI and RingCT among many other very nice things.

I don't know what you consider "proper governance" but if it works, it ain't stupid improper.

It's worth noting the escrow-based Monero FFS has never funded a scam, unlike Dash and its Lamassu ATM project.   Cool

15xmr price 0.05 XMR

The average tx fee is more like 0.016-0.02 XMR per tx right now.

Poloniex charges a 0.05 withdrawal fee but that's their decision, not the network fee.

keep saying : You seem to be missing the last word in your private key, please try again

so i have 24 words ( need 25 )

but is it absolute the last word

or could it also be an other place for the missing mnemonic word?

Bittrex charges 0.1 XMR for withdrawal. Maybe somebody should tell them too Smiley
Edit: I did my part. More posts and tweets should make them aware..
