I solved right now ... the problem was that the 'GUI' version did not load correctly the Wallet from keys, monerujo and mywallet gave me 0 transactions and 0 balance, I tried the 'CLI' version and I saw the light sincerely after this negative experience I will stay away from monero wallet as long as they are more user friendly. thank you The issue may have been caused by you setting an erroneous restore height: https://monero.stackexchange.com/questions/7581/what-is-the-relevance-of-the-restore-heightIt was one of the first things I thought, in monerujo I also tried to restore from block 0. the strange thing is that windows gui did not even allow me to load the wallet from the keys, Did you try to restore from the private keys or from the 25 word mnemonic seed? perhaps there are incompatibilities between the wallet created offline by monero-wallet-generator (the last version I found is October 2017) and the new wallet 0.12.0.0 Lithium Luna.
There shouldn't be any. I do not have disk space so I'm using a remote node. I try to import my wallet from the mnemonic seed because if I insert the keys in 'monero' gui does not continue. the balance always remains at 0 I tried to create the wallet from block 0 and also from block 1546000, moreover as the receiving address does not give me my original address but a subaddress that does not start with 4, and this address is not accepted by any exchange . with the same seed node settings and block height, windows cli and even monerujo work. I'm probably wrong with something, even creating a new wallet does not generate a usable address, always only sub-addresses that can not be used Can you check whether the stagenet or testnet box is checked in the wizard (of the GUI)? I tried both solutions, but always with the result 0, in a few days I will try to install it on another PC. I still solved with the cli version, it was just nicer visually having the gui Would you, for investigation purposes, mind PMing me the seed & keys generated by moneroaddress.org? If you incurred a bug, it'd be beneficial for our developers to be able to debug it. If there are still funds in the wallet, ignore my request.

I know this is a cliché but USD, EUR, etc. still dwarfs cryptos when it comes to the currency applications you mentioned.

Look, I do know a lot of white folks go to impoverished corners of the world as sex tourists so they can spend their USD and EUR to have sex with minors...and drugs as well...with impunity. Unless you can top that argument, you shouldn't be asking for some phantom "sources". LOL!

if most of the blocks are held by a few rich guys and their friends, selling monero and buying the fork will be beneficial as it will go up quite fast.

If the forks finally merge the key reuse mitigation code and other mitigations, this should stop the bleed. But that would require the forks to be compenent

Do I understand, without being specific, that if people who can afford asic miners leave the market, the price will go down quite a bit?

Curious if there's a National Enquirer article as well. Articles could be true, but not the point. they are not sources I'd trust, due to past behaviour. Vice and BBC. LOL

Latest Linux GUI wallet is still not connected to daemon. Is there any update or fix for this? When? The CLI works anyway.
The information of status of this coin is low. It is not ok to run all over internet to reddit to find solutions for a coin of 4B$ marketcap. There is no info at all of this issue at getmonero.org. There must be some status site there.

MyMonero is far from a random website, but yes the desktop wallets would definitely be better.

You just admitted you're a pedophile What else do you use it for, qualuudes and webcams? Oh man that would almost be funny if it wasn't so fucking sad and true. Don't blame me. Blame bitcointalk for making this thread appear at the top of my new replies every day. It isn't bitcointalk that does that. It's us being the most active community around here.

Japan government will probably ban anonymous cryptocurrencies such as Monero or Dash. Do you think that this will happen?

Wouldn't that be funny. If dash got banned for it's marketing claims that it's anonymous even though it Isn't. I wonder if they would try have their cake and eat it too by explaining to Japanese authorities how it isn't anonymous but telling everyone else to just ignore that. That would be the worst of both worlds for them, banned for being anonymous while not being anonymous enough to protect it's users from said ban. Maybe monero could survive being banned for being anonymous because it actually is, but all the dash users would just be tracked down on the blockchain for using an "anonymous currency".
