Automatic payment went out for moneropool.org. Was everyone paid? TX ID: fb379aa81ce5360ed7d43e9589b9e492d16a09fe5d57d8faa7658fc642f6e44f
I was paid too.

However, I am not sure whether I received something during the manual payout (TX ID e4eef3a041f6ed3926b0a5ee73d296ffb18e5279230b8bf1fd28e82bc1246838)

Hi all!

I've been mining MNR on moneropool.com using the easyminer - no block found for 20 hours there, that's ok...
Anyway, I see easyminer created file called wallet (don't see the extension of it, what is it? ) wallet.address and wallet.keys... So i copied the wallet file and tried to load it in simplewallet and it can't be loaded with it, is it the way it should work?

Thanks in advance.

It is likely wallet.bin.

To make things easier, when you have Windows Explorer open, go to >Organize >Folder and search options >View

Uncheck the "Hide extensions for known filetypes" option and press OK.

You should now be able see file extensions for files like wallet.bin, simpleminer.exe, etc

Thanks mate. Anyway I did what you said and it still says only File under the Type in the window of Windows Explorer, not BIN file like it says for wallet.bin file that was generated by simplewallet  of Bytecoin or Monero... And not able to load it with simplewallet of Monero...

Anyone? Is it badly generated or something? Shares went down the drain if I delete it and try to start a new easyminer?

i have a 8-core cpu, i guess simpleminer.exe will automatically run with 8 threads ?

Yeah I think extremepool's down. Moneropool's still showing 80-something workers connected on the stats page, but I can't connect to it either.

I believe extremepool is updating to the latest pool version and are only temporarily down. I highly doubt this is a DDoS attack.

I noticed a couple of other people mentioned getting the "Returning false because of wrong state machine. state: 5" error message but I couldn't find anything about a solution. Did anyone manage to figure out what was causing it?

Hi guys, the monerominers.com pool has just been updated and payouts should now be working!

Would be nice if some people could start using it, it's got plenty of performance to spare Smiley

Have you updated to the latest version of simpleminer? If the problem persists, the only solution is to restart the miner when it disconnects and crashes or to use cpuminer-multi instead of simpleminer.

how much time to sync without the blockchain? I cant realize where to put the chain in order for the wallet to use it. srsly.

long time.

are you on windows 7 or 8? If so, it goes here: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Bitmonero\blockchain.bin

thank you very much, it synched alright, but now when I open my wallet.bin it says it couldnt connect to daemon host:8080 w/e ....

Can you provide more details of what you are doing, what platform, commands etc.  You error message refers to a different port from when I try to start wallet without daemon running:

Quote
F:\>simplewallet.exe --wallet-file wallet.bin
bitmonero wallet v0.8.6.295(0.1-g7620d55)
password: ********************
Opened wallet: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Error: wallet failed to connect to daemon (http://localhost:18081). Daemon either is not started or passed wrong port. P
lease, make sure that daemon is running or restart the wallet with correct daemon address.
**********************************************************************
Use "help" command to see the list of available commands.
**********************************************************************
[wallet xxxxxxx]:

I am running simplewallet.exe, input wallet.bin(the name), then password, and then it shows error:failed to connect to daemon(localhost:18081) etc. I have windows 7 64bit, and I have created the original bat in the OP and synched correctly with blockchain(or at least it seems so)

Yeah I only installed it yesterday. It's odd, it seems to come and go with it being more of a problem with some pools than others.
Seems to be running smoother now though (I'll find me some monero yet!).

I downloaded easy miner from the pool website and started mining with 8 cores, it opens 8 windows. Some of these windows say 'job didn't change' and 'getting next job' what does this mean? And other windows say 'share submitted successfully' can anyone explain?

On the poolwebsite it stated that atm i'm mining with 8H/sec, but it gets more over time it seems. How do i know if i have mined some monero?
