Minera 0.3.6 is out!

* Updated miner binary files (BFgminer, CGminer and Dmaxl)
* Small fixes
* Added script to build miner

Image file is not available yet, give me a couple of days to build & upload it.

For everybody, I recommend you to run this commands to fix the Bash bug called Shellshock (new Minera image will be fixed but old one need to run this commands manually):

Code:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install bash
Or (slower):

Code:
sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude -y safe-upgrade

did you forget about my request ?
to name the pools

Yes, sorry, can you remember me? (it's better to propose them here: https://github.com/michelem09/minera/issues)

How can i fix pool hashrate? And does that mean i have batch 1 zeus? It was supposed to be 2nd batch...

If you update the code , that should be fixed:

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
git pull origin master

I did that, rebooted pi, problem still persists.

libbase58.so is missing in the update, so my miner isn't starting.

I'm rebuilding bfgminer now.

I also had to recompile bfgminer.  No big deal and its back up and running.

One thing i do notice even from last build is that Device Tree my gaw blackwindow shows hash in the GH instead of MH.  The pool HR does show correct tho.

Minera 0.3.6 bugged

I'm sorry to inform you the latest release is almost bugged, I'm going to push a new release in few minutes to solve those problems.

For BFGminer, if you need it, just run ./build_miner.sh bfgminer and then it should work.

For pool hashrate it's a very small bug I just solved.

I apologise for this but I have really few time to spend on Minera this period, hope you can understand.
Thanks

Fixes are ready, I didn't change the release version, so you have to update manually, ssh into it and do:

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
sudo git fetch --all
sudo git reset --hard origin/master

Then, if you are using bfgminer you need to rebuild it with the new builder script:

Code:
cd /var/www/minera
./build_miner.sh bfgminer

New image file is on the way...

hmm, didnt get a chance to update to the not bugged 0.3.6
Mine now wont see the SSH terminal, and takes 20 mins to load the WebUI.. if it loads at all..
Can see its hashing as my gridseeds are lighting up and showing activity. Just cant get in to change anything Sad

Edit:
Didnt think it felt right.. seemed too coincidental that I moved the RPi to my lounge room to work on it (cut the Gridseed fans off and stacked them all together)
So of course to test I had to plug into a switch out here.. turns out the port I plugged into is obviously dead.. plugged into a different one, everything is all good again.

If my advice has helped you out, feel free to throw some Satoshi's my way!

I dont think the udev rules are done right, or during build '--enable-broad-udevrules' might not be applying right

I just started using Minera this past weekend, and noticed that after updating, it stopped mining. I'm currently ssh'd in to my rpi, doing all the necessary updates and rebuilding bfgminer. At least it's fixable without a huge learning curve needed, but maybe having a few select people to test each release before pushing it out to everyone would be a good idea? I'll volunteer my own time to this task, if you want.

Do you guys know the manual setting for the Gridseed I have 2 running but it running at low khash I thought that maybe manual setting I can add something different to fix it. Thanks for your time.

I tried using it but my Miner Settings page comes up blank and I see the below error message in the logs
2014-05-05 19:53:21: (mod_fastcgi.c.2676) FastCGI-stderr: PHP message: PHP Fatal error:  Call to undefined method Util_model::getBtcValue() in /var/www/minera/application/controllers/app.php on line 96

EDIT: Ok, I edited our this function in app.php and the page loads albeit with some errors about undefined ltc, doge, etc variables

$data['btc'] = 1;//$this->util_model->getBtcValue();

Apologize, I forgot pushing the fix.

Please ssh into minera and run:

cd /var/www/minera
sudo git reset --hard
sudo git pull

You should have the new code with the bug fix.

You can also delete the minera directory and repeat only the git clone command

Turns out for some reason I had four bfgminer's all running at the same time, had to kill them off by PID

For some reason, MinerA hates it when you select the http://www.miningrigrentals.com?ref=126 pools.

Dude, don't use a referral link unless you are clear about it. That's not cool. Just paste the link instead of "hiding" it this way. People can decide whether they want to give you the referral fee.

Firstly, there is no referral fee.
Secondly, I see nothing wrong with my post.  It's a factual bug report for a couple of sites that do glitchy things when Minera is pointed to them.
There is a referral program that they offer, so Flep is correct; and I believe it is actually against the forums unwritten rules.

But regardless, there is a solution to the MRR pools not showing up correctly. You have to view the full text log after a restart serach for "com:5" and replace the standard "3333" with the "5XXXX" number.
replacing the 3333 port number with 53333 breaks it, where and what exactly needs editing?

Just wanted to thank you for your work. I like Minera, finally got it completely set up and running for days with no issues really.

Added your donation pool back in for 1hr a day Smiley

Just a couple minor bugs:

I run a Zeus X3 (28MH/s) and a GAW Black Widow (14MH/s), but the display is showing 52MH/s in one area and 100MH/s in another, when it should only display 42MH/s

I'll post the issues on Github

I've to admit, I've not looked through this thread, so I'll ask straight away:

What's necessary to make Minera work with the coming AM Prisma?

All that is required is that it will work with either BFGMiner or CGMiner official versions. Then you run the script to update that miner on Minera and it will work.
