my Wallet just says out of sync and wont sync on wither my mac or my surface pro 2...... any help please
You need to make a config file in your roaming folder with all the nodes attached... Press windows 'Start' button in the box type %appdata% then locate the Silkcoin folder and open it.. create a notepad txt file and paste this into it rpcuser=silkcoinrpc rpcpassword=puthereaverylongandrandompasswordyoudontneedtorememberit rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=16667 port=16666 gen=0 server=1 addnode=54.201.183.106:16666 addnode=107.2.250.115:16666 addnode=182.136.158.169:16666 addnode=82.26.243.220:16666 addnode=107.6.122.154:16666 addnode=120.149.96.110:16666 addnode=192.99.35.62:16666 addnode=70.72.182.35:16666 addnode=197.161.90.230:1666 then save the note pad as ' all file types' and name the file silkcoin-qt.conf save it and restart the wallet Q Did exactly that and still nothing just says out of sync still I have the same problem Do something with this wallet |

nom nom nom gobbling up cheap SC I am balls deep in this coin and I feel GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD, cause once this bad boy gets listed on mintpal, I'm sure other exchanges will soon follow and price will EXPLODE, hahahah I'm gonna pay off my debt and get an apartment with my profits from SC I would need SC to hit $1 to pay off a chunk of our debt since I don't have many coins :*( |

Guys if you add nodes and be just a little bit patient you'll see it will sync with no problems.. Also when you added nodes please wait at least 10 minutes before complaining back it will not sync in 20 seconds... Adding nodes solved the problem for every single person who had problems with syncing. And if you read just the last page you'd see it has been answered already 3 times and solved 3 times. A for the GUI don't worry it will evolve , once again we rushed this release because of the Fork. And yes the fonts will change to be more readable. Edit : the two hard-coded nodes went down today I guess that's why some of you have problems to sync , I'm currently setting them back up, in a few minutes they will be back.. |

you gusy should make it so u can actually resize the wallet.... looks retarded on a surface pro 2 since its so small and i cant enlarge it

I am betting this is the question we are all asking ourselves , myself i plan to just try for a few hours before i waste BTC that could be spent buying lovely Silk on a mammoth rent. |

http://explorer.silk-coin.com/address/BMMuzNihZ6hrL4PnvWWiPnyo8gnX8MfjzbYour balance shows 6137 so you haven't lost your coins, are you sync? And looking at the explorer you may be staking, can you send me a screenshot of your wallet by PM? As for the 2FA, yea that could be a good idea! |

After I was dumb enough to access the site on the Honorcoin ANN and getting my original BCT account hacked I was thinking of what would be a good extra way to protect my wallets. I have done full malware, virus and trojan scans and am clean but it still makes me nervous |
