Guys this might be the most exciting HYPER news yet!

The following game is not the core HYPER MMO strategy game we are building, we discovered it as part of our game engine research and have decided to launch the only English server of the game in the world s a service to the old fans and the HYPER community while we work on the main MMO!!

We have successfully resurrected the indie cult space 4X MMO space game Zandagort! The game had a large cult following so we expect many old fans to come play once the news spreads. Dfletcher did an amazing job working through the Hungarian code and getting the game to display in English.

Some important points:

- This game is very slow going and is a deep, deep strategy game (but it's awesome!).
- I highly recommend checking out the tutorial at http://zandagort.com to see how to play.
- The game is provided as is, we do have plans for the future and we are backing up the database but please bear in mind it is in an open Alpha state.
- It's entirely free to play!!
- Traditionally, the game ends after 6 months or so when a big alien army invades the whole galaxy. We will run this first server without the invading army as a test and for everyone to learn how to play. You can still make alliances with other players, trading agreements and go to war etc Have fun building your intergalactic empire

Some possible plans for the future:

- Add nice space / ambient background music
- Integrate HYPER into the in-game free market trading platform the game already has
- Accept HYPER as a payment method for upgraded accounts
- There is no ETA on the above plans yet - we will see how popular the game is!

Great start on the encyclopedia for the game and the Virgo Supercluster setting for the game which contains our galaxy (as well as many more).

I'm thinking of an interface which is quite minimal in nature so that the actual galaxy (and at the start of the game just the player's mainplanet) will be the focus of the UI. Simple circular buttons on the side of the screen will open different control panels. I also think the screens for encyclopedia and everything else should be semi transparent so the payer's rotating planet / empire / galaxy is still visible in the background. I want to make the game as breathtaking as possible So there's some thoughts about the user interface but I digress, absolutely love your work so far on the encyclopedia.

I will get my friend to post up the work she has done on the alien races so far very soon!! So much exciting stuff happening right now.

you know i have been wondering about this zombie theme really long time ago
in my sight, game zombie in this era (like final frontier) is really great but it will cause 'mount point'
you will get excited when you first play but and when you reach some higher point that make you really excited, you will just round and round in the map and you will be bored for it, and you will quit that game and search for another game

but in my dream, maybe in the future i hope
theres someone (dev game) will make game like master of world but in zombie theme
the mec is like this, you will be in region that clear of zombie, and you and other people will make civilization in there, and when youre ready to expand you will attack other region and it will continuosly until all the world clean
i know other people will be bored if they didnt like this kind of game, but i really like it cause it use your strategy + luck + thing that your love to do
