For now we are just working out the details so will be a while till it's out there,so we can't disclose anything yet.
This is just to announce that we do have a joint venture in progress with Qibuck Coin.

This new feature only came about on the weekend and is being prepped so this is an early announcement.
I am also part of the team in a Foundation capacity.
This is a Real Announcement coming from XC.
Looking forward to seeing this - I really wish there would be more cooperation between alt coins instead of constant bickering, so if this is something that can actualy benefit both coins I will be very happy! Thank you for seeing the angle we are trying to focus on. This also is a healthier way to behave as more and more new Investors and NON TECH NERDS enter the space of Crypto Currency. People who have some sound economic judgement know that it is better to foster a healthy environment of cooperation from ALL SPHERES IN SOCIETY - NOT JUST MINERS AND TECH GEEKS - but bringing in people form a variety of back rounds - including women I may add - as some males have voiced out openly that they hate women entering the space of Crypto. lol I find it hard to believe anyone said they don't want females involved with crypto..if they did more fool them..but lets not turn this into sexist shit...please...actually i'm just going too say it..i am so sick of women acting like there not equal..you want equal rights? next time there is a world war i will see you in the trenches..how's that for equal rights..and btw i said that to my mother and she agrees. |

We wanted to thank the XC TEAM for collaborating with QIBUCK COIN on a new revenue generating wallet enhancement feature. We look forward to our JV partnership in this new development.  Is this a joke? Its a new angle in the altcoin scene. Lesser known and new coins forming aliances. Too early to see the implications but I'm sure it will bolster shit/scam coins somehow. I'm a little surprised XC would align themselves with other coins but then again one of the XC foundation members is behind qicoin. Qicoin price going up at Poloniex. XC not. |

I am still in struggle to get more connections on XC wallet ( latest version, WIN 8.1.)

Anyone knows which ports must be open on the router, to have it all working at its best?
have you got it working without tor yet? No, still can get connections by TOR only. Nothing works if TOR dissabled Tried to install this XC wallet in my work PC, in the office. All started right away, no problems. So my problem at home must be either in PC windows config, or router (ports), or my ISP is possibly blocking something. That is why I am asking about PORTS now Could not find even smallest talk about this - which ports are used, and must to be open for this XC wallet If that work at your office without TOR but work only at home with TOR , you need to search on your ISP blocking IP or perhaps from some country i think. That's working behind TOR because your ISP IP is changed after connecting to the TOR network. Normally your wallet must open the good port with the help of UPNP if its activated. |

Yep, this looks a bit unprofessional as XC has a PR person currently. Hopefully this won't be considered as a PR stunt / pumping the value of both coins like happened last time when another coin's dev announced something prematurely. |

I like that other members are involved in the information sharing. What I agree on is that it should be confirmed asap by official team members with more information and a timeline Nothing wrong with sharing. What I dont agree with is when something is being worked on it needs to come from the XC team and not dropped by someone else. I EXPECT that much. If they have a need to work with other people or whatnot.... whatever it is, they need to make it clear that such announcements come FROM the XC team FIRST... until that is done people need to keep their traps shut. |

I'd like to confirm the news just posted here.
The XC and Qibuck devs are partnering to develop a feature that'll allow nodes to earn money.
A few details:
- We will make an official announcement about this on Friday.
- It's a particularly exciting feature that I'm not sure anyone else has thought of yet.
- The reason for the partnership is that by sharing resources we reduce both development time and costs, and in this case we will not disadvantage XC's market position in any way (more info as to why will follow).
- Silverkinguk (Samuel) is part of the XC team and so if he announces something it can be trusted.
- This is not the undisclosed PR-related development that I mentioned yesterday.
P.S. I've been aware of this development, but was not aware that it would be announced now. My apologies for the confusion.
