Lol, good luck with your uber hax skillz /facepalm Can someone explain if that is a potential risk? I know it's probably FUD, but it seems somewhat "logic", anyone to explain? He wants people to sell XC and buy DRK, read his previous posts. XC and DRK are the two strongest anon Alts. XC appears to be developing tech very quickly however. Oh, someone already stole 1000 DRK, so people should not be throwing stones. There is no risk, the trust system is designed to prevent this and other potential attack vectors Isnt the point of this crypto to be "trustless" - not trust...the minute you place trust in an entity - the decentralization aspect of the coin diminishes. The dev has absolutely no idea. How vague and ambiguous can you be in a response??? Stealth, you are correct in stating that originally crypto was intended to be a trustless and decentralized system, but drk masternodes are another example of relying on some centralization and trusting these nodes to not become "bad actors". This tech is constantly evolving, let us not throw stones in glass houses.

Personally I hold both Drk and XC, I like both for their promise of enhanced privacy. I don't understand the FUd thats been surfacing latelly in crypto, it's discouraging. How is crypto supposed to change and improve the world if everybody from different "communities" are too busy trying to destroy other coins or stab eachother in the back? It's a little sad and frustrating to see.

Yes but with Dark, the bad actor scenarios have been well discussed and resolved with decentralization & a "trust-less" architecture still in place. If XC goes down this path of a " Dynamically Learning Trust" rating system for nodes, this is flawed and easily exploitable. (Even though the dev has so vaguely said "there is no risk") I would suggest the dev goes back to rethink his approach.

The dev has absolutely no idea. How vague and ambiguous can you be in a response???
As a holder of Darkcoin, I'm very interested in competitors claiming to achieve the same goal. So far what I've seen from the xc dev when faced with a technical question has been very unsettling. It really does seem like he is just using persuasive words (Paradigm) to demonstrate the illusion of progress. Earlier in this thread a member broke the "anonymity" of this coin with 5 minutes examining the block explorer. Which really isn't too surprising considering the dev is not able to use github correctly. As of right now with the mandatory update, the coin is forked. This crypto is really all just a hype train. Looking at lolJoshCoin (xc coin) it proves no innovation as a true anonymous cryptocurrency and in my own personal opinion, the dev is a shame making promises such as Visa and Mastercard integration along with the anonymity. It's a real shame considering someone with prostate cancer is trusting the dev with unconditional support. After the enormous rise in marketcap for Darkcoin, this weeks flavor of the month is apparently anonymity. Good luck with your investments.

remotely signed is the key. If Xnode is a role of postbox(time/block delayed), get burned badly.

I believe a white paper for Xc is on its way, so we'll see then what the full explanation/strategy is.

Yes this one and one another guy who said he invested 50 BTC (and he didn't even seem like a whale) made me very sad. So when the inevitable happens, try to remember there are real people behind those screen names and act accordingly.

Even moreso when many devs help each other out to build better networks etc. Are the MNs still in testing at this point? or have they been released/working? Seems that with all these incremental releases the "products" if you want to call it that by the end of summer will be pretty impressive from a tech standpoint. i like that there are more than one strategy to tackle the whole anon/privacy question. Mns, Xnodes, rigsigs, stealth addrs, zerocash etc.. Very cool.

Hit the nail on the head - If I had $1 for every time the dev used the word multi-path paradigm - id be a rich man....then again who the hell even knows what this is from a technical view. I have not seen a single technical or in depth deep discussion on anything from this coin - just buzz words - and I dont think the dev is capable of one. Anonymint/eduffield would tear him to shreds. I feel very sorry for the people who have spent money on this they can't afford to lose.

I feel very sorry for the people who have spent money on this they can't afford to lose. I've seen on some schematics of the xnodes and how theyll function (big picture style) and what the eventual upgrades will provide. There have been some technical discussions, code was reviewed via teamviewer and confirmed it was different that what the rumors had speculated (original code in other words and not a copy of something else). Hopefully though, what I'd like is an official whitepaper explaining everything on a technical level, which is something that is apparently in the works. Scepticism is good for any new coin, especially those making big claims, what I do know is that the releases have come as promised, tonight release went well, and the fork was corrected with impressive speed by pushing out another wallet update while coordinating with the exchanges etc (was on the freenode, to see it in action). As with all things in crypto, time will tell what happens in the next few weeks/mths. Could be a told you so scenario or devs could certainly come through and silence the critics.

The video that you just mentioned was proven to be not anonymous. The coin is a clone coin scam. If you want to make a good return on investment, you'll have better luck with this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=618089.0

I have found evan's explain. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=627349.msg7073643#msg7073643As time passed, xc's design is a little bit cleared to me. How it should work in the future.
