You know...As far as I know, VMProtect does not exist for Linux, and the antidebugs there are quite lax, this is probably the best moment to patch nofee option to use full speed, but no donation.

While I may not agree with the current fee amount, do you really think it's a good idea to do that?

I feel the same.

Depends if the reverser would have fun in doing so(doing re).

For reference - I'm currently getting 325 h/s per 7850, 92 h/s for my 5870 with the current Claymore miner.

You can do everything you want, of course. I want to get some experience and see what will happen with version for Linux, I will use this experience in future miners.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Claymore,
Can you add temperature on the console interface?

Miner shows temperature/fan data every 30sec. Use "-dbg 2" option to see data every 3sec.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

v7.0 for Windows will be available today. It is not faster, the only improvement is GPU fan control. However, finally I have Linux version finished and now I can work on further speed improvements, for some cards it's possible to get some additional speedup.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Tried the new linux miner, although I run into problem. System configuration is Ubuntu 14.04 Server LTS, 14.4 drivers.
When I first ran the 13.12 miner, it gave me:
--
GPU memory allocation failed. Try to set at least 16 GB of Virtual Memory: Computer Properties / Advanced System Settings / Performance / Advanced / Virtual Memory
--
Tried with 14.6 miner, same error. Increased swap to 20GB - same error on both version of the linux miner.

I remember, that in windows version, I was able to run 14.6 version with 14.4 (yes, it was not optimal performance, but at least it worked)

What am I doing wrong?

I used default OS config, I did not change any settings for swap etc. Check your RAM size, I use 4GB and it works for 3 290X cards.

So actually 16GB swap file is not required for the Linux version at all?

edit: when I try to run the miner it gives me GpuMiner k1a failed -48 error on all the cards, the machine is with 2GB ram, 800MB used, when miner starts, the usage goes to about 930MB. I suspect it is not a memory or swap size problem.

What is the chance the problem to be with the 14.4 drivers I'm using?

If you use Catalyst 14.x - use version for Catalyst 14. If you use Catalyst 13.x - use version for Catalyst 13. Otherwise you can get a lot of strange errors and warnings. If you have some problems - describe system config in details, not just what error miner shows.

The other thing that is bugging me, that in the both archives uploaded, have identical sizes, and both give me the warning "Catalyst 13.12 is REQUIRED for best performance and compatibility", although the files in the archives are different.

I use driver 14.4, set swap to 20GB, system memory is 2GB, 6 x 7950 cards. Operating system is Ubunty Server 14.04 LTS. Tried both versions, 13.12 and 14.6, both are giving me the error above.

According to Claymore, V7.0 is just the fan control for Windows users. After this version he will work on improvements for some cards.
