well it says it all, you aren't authenticated, that's why your share get rejected and got banned. What cmdline are you using to connect to pool ? have you checked your user name, if you mine directly to exchange you checked you were using wallet.paymentId as user ? SAME here.buggy version for me Switching back to 9.6

after setting up v9.7, in ethman... the version number column shows "9.7 - CN" what does CN mean?
CN = CryptoNight. ZEC miner will report "ZEC" and so on, this way you can easily see what miners you use (if you use different miners). Then I will update EthMan so it will check what miner is used and will apply appropriate scale automatically - KH/s for CN and ZEC, MH/s for ETH. Ha, I missed that pattern on the version number. Just searched for the term "ETH:" instead when using the API. Will definitely use that on the next release of MultiPoolMiner for MiningPoolHub.com. https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/releases

And then i got banned from dwarfpool. I got same problem but before that, I had many "lowdiffucultyshare" error and then "unauthenticated". In 9.6, the miner disconnects then reconnects when I got ""lowdiffucultyshare" error. In 9.7, it don't disconnect then I keep having the "unauthenticated" error. yes this is what exactly happened. Was mining fine for hours, then i logged in to the miner and saw this. This was the case on few machines, but not on all ?!!

Thank you; I'm pleased you like it! Hadn't thought about it but, yeah, maybe I should start a thread for it. If you have any suggestions or find any bugs: https://github.com/aaronsace/MultiPoolMiner/issues

Excellent. But I don't really like version strings with spaces and dashes. Maybe until you updated all miners you may consider something like "9.7/CN" ?

The miner name would probably be better in it's own field rather than in the version number. Also, the API could just list the hash rate consistently as simply 'hash per second' across all the miners. Scaling and formatting should really be done on the front end. TRUNC(LOG(hashrate, 1000)) can get the correct scale.

Also, the API could just list the hash rate consistently as simply 'hash per second' across all the miners. Scaling and formatting should really be done on the front end. I totally agreed with you. Also the semicolon-separated format is not quite good as a JSON even if easy parsed. But I try do not suggest a lot of changes. Once I suggested in PM to rework a bit config file format, so it could contain both common and instance (rig) specific options. Claymore rejected that first, then said he will consider, and then I have not heard from him about that. And this was not implemented, so you can't have a single config file for all rigs that unlike epools.txt needs more than just an individual rig name. As a result, I understand that he is not willing to make massive refactoring of his miners. The change I suggested is easy to implement and it will look better I think. I really don't understand why he did that this way instead of another extra field. In the end I don't think that it ever will be changed at all

I just care about backward compatibility. As soon as I break it, everyone will have to update all miners and EthMan. Also, in this case I will have to update all miners at once. So I don't think it's a good idea to change format. Though of course I can add new fields to json data, it's not a problem. About changing "9.3 - CN" to "9.3/CN" - what are benefits?

@Claymore, with ssl, is my ip less likely to be banned? because this is getting stupid, one share is rejected and then the ip is banned, mostly happens when i tune a specific gpu concerning hashrate.

Can confirm. I am also getting the share rejected on Dwarfpool with 9.7. 9.6 Is still good for me so using that now.
Thanks!

Hello, the same issue with 9.7 on Dwarf after 1 hr. normal mining. buf: {"id":4,"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-1,"message":"Unauthenticated"}} On other hand, on other rigs with different service providers networks, no such issues.
Can you PM complete log so I can check this issue?

Ah I see make sense and also for improvements to support the other 2 coins. The ethman, IMHO is very good and useful - thanks for making a "universal" ethman for all your miners. An auto discovery for all Claymore miners in the active network feature will be much appreciated for future version.

@Claymore, another question, using tuning usually gets my ip banned, first of all, gpu is not overclocked, however, hashrates shown differs on multiples same gpu model, for example, rx 480 8gb, card 1, shows 690 h/s, rx 480 8gb, card 2, shows 660 h/s, the only way for card 2 to reach card speeds is to tune -h values, up and down -h 1024 to -h 992 and back to -h 1024, is there a way you can make highest values stable, i mean, all gpus reach highest possible hashrate?

what is this error about?
Dwarfpool goes crazy, as you can see it sends empty job: 15:08:05:089 ebc buf: {"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"job","params":{"blob":"","job_id":"","target":""}} It's not miner issue.
Use "-h" option, read Readme for details.
