No. It just takes the number of your XCR balance as a voting weight. It will cost a minimal amount of XCR as a fee through (like 1XCR).
Is this DPOS same as Bitshares' one, but written in a different programming language? Will there be other Poofs in the system or just DPOS? Max can answer that the best, but today is his birthday...... You all wish him a Happy B-Day! 0.2.0 is the best birthday present.

It was not my birthday, but the birthday of a very good friend and also the good-bye-party, as he is going to the USA for an internship. My birthday is on the 25.12. No. It just takes the number of your XCR balance as a voting weight. It will cost a minimal amount of XCR as a fee through (like 1XCR).
Is this DPOS same as Bitshares' one, but written in a different programming language? Will there be other Poofs in the system or just DPOS? It's based on the DPoS consensus mechanism of Bitshares, but some elements are different. We concentrated on the principle, that easier is better. I don't know exactly how Bitshares' DPoS consensus mechanism is working, but I know that the active delegates can set a fee themselves and with every block (or delegate cycle?) new BTS are created. I also believe, that they while they are going in a cycle, and if it's the turn of active delegate A and his forged block has a fee of 0, he only gets the inflated fee. Please correct me if I'm wrong here, Boris can say it correctly. In Crypti there are also 101 active delegates in total. This is a given, because the underlying cryptography and mathematic proved this as one of the most secure number (odd and prime). There is no inflation model in Crypti, the fee of the last 101 blocks (1 cycle) is collected and distributed equally between all 101 active delegates. This makes sure, that everyone will get the same amount of XCR in every round. To be a delegate you have to register for a specific fee, this fee is a bit higher than normal, to make sure only serious people have the chance to become an active delegate. At the delegate registration you have to set a unique name. After the registration you can promote your delegate, in order to get more votes. The voting system makes sure, that only honest and serious people become an active delegate. This is a choice from the community and their incentive should be, that only the fastest nodes with the highest uptime become an active delegate. (You can see the uptime in the client) This all is ported to Javascript utilizing Node.js. As it stands right now, DPoS will be the only "proof of" in Crypti. I asked Boris to check my explanations, in order to not tell half-thruths. But the part about Crypti should be correct. When I talk about an "active delegate" I mean one of the TOP101 delegates with enabled forging.

Thanks for the replying. It seems you guys are on the right track. The DPOS is probably one of the best you can get for now. The good part for XCR is that you guys plan to build a platform for commercial and business applications in the very beginning. Commercializations is the ultimate goal for cryptos. It will be good to start it in a very specific and niche market and industry.
Btw, you guys need to change your signature regarding the proof.

Will Crypti be "cryptographically and mathematically" damaged if there would be less than 101 active delegates?

Will Crypti be "cryptographically and mathematically" damaged if there would be less than 101 active delegates? What do you mean? We can set less amount of delegates then 101, but now it's 101. In future it's possible to change this number.

Will Crypti be "cryptographically and mathematically" damaged if there would be less than 101 active delegates? There wont ever be less than 101 delegates, because the Foundation will be running 101 delegates from the start. These delegates will have few or no votes, so will be replaced by other delegates as they come online. The top 101 delegates will be doing the forging, but there may be as many as a few hundred delegates at any one time. Some may have a million votes, some one vote. Since the forging fees are divided equally between the 101 delegates that were online and forging for that cycle, there is no real incentive to be delegate #1......... payout is the same as delegate #101. But being a higher rank makes a delegates position more secure, but not financially more rewarding.

And... ... we are waiting ...
If you want to speed things up, contact Bter and TELL them to release XCR for withdrawal. There will not be DPOS until we can withdraw XCR from Bter. There is just too little XCR in private hands for a stable system. The team is really busy with the testing. You would not believe how many different versions have been tested for bugs and functionality. Ethereum is developing a similar system, with $18 million dollars of IPO money, and they are still vaporware after 9 months. We have only a handful of devs, but have made great progress. Go bug Lin at Bter..... not us. Yeah, you do a greate job, just don't be too rude to supporters (calling us annoying bugs and so on).

If I am correct the total number of XCR are 100 millions. It seems this number is small comparing the other popular coins. It is probable a good ideal to have more coins in supply to keep the price low and affordable per coin.
Will you consider to proportionally enlarge the the total supply, for instance, each XCR becomes 10 or 100 XCR? By this way, you increase the total supply and in the mean time Everyone still has the same proportion of the total coins.

This has been discussed, and decided against. XCR, just like BTC, is divisible into 8 decimal places, so there are really 100 million times 100 million Cryptoshi in existance. That gives us 10,000,000,000,000,000. 10 Quadrillion Cryptoshis. 10 billion wallets could hold 1 million Cryptoshi. Your point about supply and price would not hold true. If the prce of XCR is 1000 sats, and we multiply the supply by 10, the price would drop to 100 sats. We would rather the XCR price climb to 3300 sats, which would be USD 1 cents. That would make it easier for real world use to compute the value of a certain item in XCR. From traveling the world, and having to use other currencies that are worth small fractions of a US cent, I can tell you that it is frustrating. Ever try to figure out what 1,101,487 Indonesian Rupias is? Is that a fair price for a hotel room? How about 200,000 Italian Lira? Big numbers boggle many minds. Its better to stick to small numbers with a greater value each

Supposed XCR become popular in the future like BTC, which one will be more convienient for people, 1xcr=$1 or 1xcr=$300?

1$ per XCR is 100 mils USD marketcap for Crypti project. 300$ per XCR is 30 billions dollars I like your "supposes"

Then we will use something similar what Bitcoin is doing right now. Introducing the equivalent of Bits.

$300...... With only 100 million USD market cap, And a $1 price, XCR would be in too short of a supply.

Numbers from your head? Now i see only 90 nodes from which only 24 with latest version. From my head - there will not be 101 voted delegates even in half a year
