It depends on the final numbers. We have some ideas (as have been discussed on various threads on forum.nemcoin.com) that will benefit all NEM stakeholders. One thing we definitely will NOT do is take all the unclaimed and sock stakes and give ourselves a bonus. We won't betray the community like that.
I think in a week or so we'll have a clearer picture and can work to reach a consensus as to what we should do.
Unclaimed and sock puppet stakes will need to be handled very carefully.
Giving them away to easy will result in the same problem as whale dumping.
Please do not put unclaimed and socks in one bag, they will definitelly be treated differently.
a) socks NEM will most likely be used to reward NODES running NEM (keep in mind that it's far away from rich-getting-richer, as you don't need ANY NEM to actually run node),
we need to have final numbers, but if there will be many such stakes, only part will be used to reward nodes, and the rest MIGHT (it's a possibility not a promise) be divided
upon people in NEMesis block
b) unclaimed stakes - as mentioned, most likely they will be held for next 3 months, (3/4 stake when claimed in first month, 1/2 in second month, 1/4 in third month),
c) what happens with rest from b) is not decided yet, there are many ideas, read NEM forum for details
d) we want to stay as close to initial distribution as possible, with stakeholders holding 71%-75%
