I do not understand. I am at least 11 successive blocks are orphaned. Total Amount of the 11 blocks orphan is plus 7000 HYP. What is going on? Does anyone like this? Sorry for my poor english.

Went to send some coin and realized I was getting 1000000000000000 stakes a second... oops.  What happened?  What's the PoS security threat?

sadly i think cryptsy's wallet is on a fork Sad awaiting confirmation, but just withdrew about 2500 hyp, and an hour later the txid is still not showing up in any of the block explorers Sad

edit* confirmed their wallet is ~200 blocks ahead of the  http://hyp.cryptocoinexplorer.com/  height....

sonofabitcoin... cryptsy support always sucks balls

edit#2  according to cryptsy, i need to update my wallet because theirs is 200 blocks off

I just sent 25 HYP from cryptsy to myself, and it came right in. They are on the correct chain.

Both of my wallets have been in sync for a couple of hours now. Did coin control on one wallet while it was in sync, that worked okay. Tried the other wallet when it was in sync,
though went in and out of sync, while doing coin control. Did not seem to affect it. Sent 20k from Polo came through in about a minute or so. Seems the bad nodes are disappearing
or being blocked by the good nodes? Seems to be straightening itself, on its own. Cool! I guess a little patience was in order Thanks, presstab!

Peace!
Dennis

In you config file, add these lines:
Code:
addnode=192.241.233.70

Iron Maiden? West Ham United? Or both?

I think Maiden and WHU FC, of course!
Sorry, i am football fan too. He-he...

I'm an american. I am of course aware of where Iron Maiden’s phrase came from, been a fan since about '82, but I've never watched the team Tongue

Updated QT client with checkpointed chain and alert keys - https://www.dropbox.com/s/6asbiaytsnvzwh1/HyperStake-qt.zip

Note when you use this build, you will want to make sure to be connected to others using the same build for information to be displayed properly. In you config file, add these lines:
Code:
addnode=192.241.233.70
addnode=104.131.135.232
addnode=162.243.151.111

If you are not connected to nodes with the same version your wallet will still be fully functional and ready to stake, but you won't be able to get any alerts sent out, and your peers block count wont reflect 100% right.

@pesstab  yesterday i ask if safe to resync , waited few hours no reply , today i log on saw the above . but when added conf wallet crashes whole computer . hung ... tried 3 times same effect , deleted conf and wallet opens and continue to sync . what do i need to do now , URGENT , please give advice . the bootstrape was used to start download. wallet is lastest v1.1

Hmmm not sure why conf would make it crash. Make sure it is hyperstake.conf

If it continues to crash, then I would forget about the conf and just type into debug manually "addnode 192.241.233.70 add" etc.

You will be fine without these nodes, but they will make sure that your peer block count is displayed correctly.  Sorry I didnt reply, overlooked it. Have been multitasking like crazy for HyperStake lately. Let me know if you have any more problems that come up.

There's a long standing bug (or perhaps an oversight) in most *coin code where peers on an older fork will repeatedly ask for the same set of blocks from those on the new/current fork. Neither the requesting peer, nor the sending peer, have any code to check for duplicate requests, so they just continue in an endless loop, requesting and transferring the same blocks, over and over. That is most likely why your client is using a lot of upload bandwidth right now.

My ADSL is 1:20 Mbit/sec upload:download, so a single coin with forked peers can saturate the upload side, and slow the entire link. Sad I've disabled HYP for the moment.

You could connect exclusively to a known good peer, so that you can continue to participate on staking and temporarily avoid the spam from outdated peers. To do this, remove/comment any addnodes you might have on the conf file, and have instead:

Code:
connect=104.131.135.232

I don't know if the "connect" command accepts more than one node.
If it does, you can also include these additional ones:

Code:
connect=192.241.233.70
connect=162.243.151.111

These are some of presstab's nodes. By connecting exclusively to one of these, you know you're on the right chain, as well as you prevent connecting to the outdated peers.
Happy Staking!

Yep, you can certainly connect= to more than one peer.

Setting listen=0 may also help, to prevent peers initiating connections to you (can't remember if -connect implies that)

Just remember you have a custom config! If those nodes drop offline at some point in the future, you may find yourself with zero connections to the network.

You must set listen=0 in conf file !
If set to 1, connect= will be ignored and other nodes can connect as usual.

For the config file, is the file name 'HyperStake.conf' (case sensitive, I assume)?

Hello I sent HYP 1200  to the address of Poloniex offered me Hyperstake and has not reached me, the transaction is confirmed 1 hour, knows what is the problem? thx

Best to ask Poloniex in the troll box.  Transactions are working there but when asked they said,
"I am noticing the blocks are coming through a little slower now on HYP. Not much but, a little."

thanks for the quick answer Wink let the problem is poloniex, thought it could be HyperStack, I stay calmer, greetings

The problem is not of Poliniex at the end, the problem is of Hyperstake at now.

I still my money.

I was sent the address where my transfer occurs , but my wallet is still empty.

I contribute capture that link past 24 hours I still have the 1206 HYP in my wallet.
