Diff has been erratic, with it reaching 6 but is now at 3.4, and I believe earlier sub 2 difficulty.

i just used the bootstrap.dat as mentioned in the OP

my prior experience makes me believe that the daemon will not be reachable until it's finished loading ?
if this is correct,
the first time i tried connecting to it, the daemon reported block 95k not the 140k mentioned in teh OP

i could be completely wrong about how the daemon interacts with the bootstrap though, and it could still be loading from it.

The daemon still has to index the whole damn thing as if it were downloading it. The Bootstrap just makes it happen that much faster than it would if you were downloading and processing a block at a time. It still takes a little while.

You see the same effect, though faster, if you have had your client turned off for a while. It takes a bit of time to catch up Tongue

Its not all that unusual for something to go wrong during the bootstrap and the client to ditch it.

Also if you add "&" to the end of your command, it doesnt lock up your terminal.

So to start Hyp on daemon "./hyperstaked &"

One thing you might want to add to the home page or wiki are detailed instructions on adding the boostrap when downloading the wallet. I couldn't really figure out how to add it and simply downloading and adding that would have been much faster than syncing the wallet as it got stuck several times
Done: http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/Bootstrap

Recorded ATH for users on ##hyperstake: 185

diff ATH: 6.083802

Update on webwallet: http://hyperstake.wikia.com/wiki/HyperWallet. Time to get someone coding it (HyperJobs for recruiting)

Every coin out there is down right now. The few exceptions that are up will fall shortly. Its a buyers market right now. Bargains galore!

I want to make sure everyone knows that I just released my software called "Yobit pump alert". THis is custom software that uses an algo to detect the start of a pump here on yobit, the second it starts. YOu can even filter the coins you see by price. Most pumps start less than 100 sats , so you can easily filter the cheap coins, so they are the only ones displayed Smiley https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1945937.msg20241953#msg20241953

We are moving the HyperStake source code from my personal github account, to a dedicated HyperStake account. You can now find all of the fresh commits here: https://github.com/hyperstake/HyperStake

HyperStake is growing up, and this is part of the process Smiley

A heads up to all of the block explorer hawks... I will be transferring my coins to a new wallet address the next few weeks as stakes come in. I think it is a good idea to do this every so often to increase security  Wink

TBH I think Ripple might be able to stay about the one cent mark, and we've been moving sideways for a while now. Still staking, but things look bleak Tongue

This is Monday, this is HyperLoan time

Winners are:

Why some +x did not win? Because they either did not give me their address and in one case because the candidate did not keep a promise.

What you, as a winner (not just a candidate) will have to do:
1. If not already done, create a dedicated address in your wallet and post it on the forum, so that anyone can track the progress. If you don't know how to do so, just ask on the forum Smiley
2 Once you have received the 4K HYP, you will start posting on HyperLoan logs about your feedback. It can be just one posts several posts tracking your increasing understanding of HyperStake, questions... and of course, everyone can post there too.
3. At the end of the 30 days, you will send the principal (4K) back to the originating address pHypLoanFPWT6awN1TYRQ4v3wD3yY1n8KT (courtesy of iDunk).

Happy loaning, happy stacking!

When you have a shitload of transactions (me 7k+) it is more likely to be able to deconstruct your private key through your signatures. This has never happened before, but it is one of the concerns they bring up in the bitcoin development guide. I would like to not be the first for it to happen to Smiley

Normal users should not worry. I shouldn't even worry. But... I do  Undecided
