Hi everyone,
Currently I'm trying to build the latest wallet on Ubuntu 14.04 64bit. Seems to build cleanly with no errors, however no HyperStake-qt executable appears as expected. I have met all dependencies and have built wallets up to this point. Anyone help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Im not laughing at you, I am laughing with you... cause this got me too... Check the 'Release' folder

Haha, I humbly accept the dunce cap. Thanks very much.

Isn't max generation supposed to occur the 6th? How will this affect HYP stakers?

Can anyone tell me how to make a dedicated address and a hyper loan wallet??

Let's see if this is what you're looking for. I'm assuming you're already setup with a HYP wallet and sync'ed. Further I'm assuming you already hold some coins, so your doubt is really on how to great a new/dedicated addy for a hyperloan.

- On the HYP wallet, select the 'receive' tab, and hit 'new address'. Give it a friendly name, perhaps hyperloan for example, if that's what you'll be using it for.
- Then copy the address you just created, and head over to the faucet: http://hyp-faucet.tk/ Fill in the captcha & use your newly created address, to get a minimal amount of funds into it.

You should be getting the HYP from the faucet into your wallet shortly after. This process will both create a history for that address on the HYP network, and confirm that you did everything right. Hope this helps, happy staking!  Wink

There is in no way a set date.  Not sure where exactly this came from, but think David repeated it a few times.

In the last 24 hours we have generated 640,631 HYP, which is 66% of the maximum allowed. Its my belief that this number will increase until close to 100%, but the higher the percentage gets, the slower that percentage will grow.

So in your opinion when do you think max generation will occur? First quarter of 2015?

In my personal opinion "max generation" is when 90%+ of the max allowed will be consistently hit each day. I doubt there will actually be a day of every stake hitting 1k HYP for a long, long time. But yes I would say it is realistic to expect us to get in the 90% range on a consistent basis between now and March.

But obviously, this is all opinion and guess work  Tongue

Some questions:

1. My blocks are 2000 coins each. Coin control says est days to stake 33 days. Max coinage is 30 days. This way my coins will not stake at all. Am I wrong?

2. If I make my blocks bigger now, will that reset my coin age?

1. "Days to Stake" shown in Coin Control are estimated. I had 2 POS blocks today, although CC showed 5 days (est)
2. yes

1. the est will be off a little and will go up and down as the network difficulty bounces around. also do they have weight on them or are the blocks under 8.8 days old still?

1a) if you go over 30 days you will still get the stake reward due to you as long as it is <= 1000HYP. after 30 days it just means your blocks will not build any further weight.

2. as mentioned this will reset the age on them

Days to Stake (est.) is just that, an estimate.  There is an element of chance and as weight is a factor, more weight gives you an increased chance.  Two of my blocks are ~2300 and one just staked at an age of 9.71 days which is less than a day after it was able to.  When it staked the "Days to Stake (est.)" was ~5.5 days.  A couple of days ago a block ~3237 staked in 14.55 days.  There is alot of varience.

Just a quirk or something but it seems that for me the best time to stake is around 8 pm central standard time. I've gotten two consecutive stake in the last two days now, maybe I'm just lucky Cheesy
