You do not need a linux machine to install this. You could buy an sd card or emmc with linux preinstalled with the odroid. Once you have it all plugged in and powered on you can either use it as a traditional computer (with keyboard mouse monitor) or use it headless and ssh to the odroid to perform the commands to compile the wallet.

buy emmc or sdcard loaded with linux from odroid,is this correct??

so if i get the sdcard for 8 buck , can it be copied on a windows machine , i few afew sdcard sitting around doing nothing want to make use of it

I bought my sdcard preloaded with lubuntu from odroid. I will probably end up paying the extra money to get an emmc soon though.  I don't see why you couldn't load an sdcard yourself with the operating system. You have just got to ask yourself whether it is worth it to pay $8 extra to save the hassle. Also I decided it was worth it to pay $4 extra for the heat sync (since hashing can heat the cpu up a bit). I leave my odroid on all day and it stays warm but is never hot.  I also got the wifi usb adapter, power cord, case, and a micro hdmi to hdmi cord. The whole setup cost me about $80 including the sd card.

To install HyperStake, it will be pretty easy. Just open terminal and copy and paste each line and press enter.

@infovortice2013:

I've had my blocks sized from 4K up to 5K over the past month, and it's served me well, with most of my block staking around 15 days of age. I think that you're ok with 3K sizes, but your blocks will take longer to stake, as you are seeing. Remember also that luck plays a big factor in staking, so one or a few blocks taking extra long, is nothing extraordinary.

My personal recommendation for sizing today (for new/fresh blocks) is around 5K to 6K.
Happy Staking!

I had a bunch of 4K blocks in a row that had staked within 10th day timeframe (a couple of days ago, with the diff almost on it's peak). Personally I stay with the long-time community convention of 4K. These blocks stake in 20-25 days on average.

" ssh to the odroid " is this a linux thing?

The only way to connect the odroid u3 to a display is via HDMI. The HDMI port on the u3 is micro HDMI so you need to go from micro to regular HDMI.

I'm not sure about the c1. I think I might buy one though to play with.

If you buy a sd card from odroid it does not need to be copied. It is ready to go.

Using your own is pretty easy also.

SSH is universally awesome and cross platform.

@m33 I have only run HYP on it, and nothing else at the same time. Maybe I will try installing a few more coins and see how it runs.

Looks like the correct chain. And your coins havent shown up after importing your keys to a fresh wallet?  That seems odd. One more trick you can try is "rescanfromblock 1"

If none of this works you can email your privkey to me and I will see if I can package your key into a functional wallet.dat for you. presstab1337@gmail.com

Let me know if you get anything to work, if not I am happy to help out.
