I see people are staking already, is it cuz they had old blocks from TRK coin and they counted towards the aging period?

I bought my TRK coins before the fork in few hours and they are all HYP now, so I have to wait 9 days for first stake?

Yes exactly.

Well the block chain should start to move. I just got home and opened my wallet since my coins came of age last night. I have now staked the last 23 blocks in 5 mins.

Seems like there are a lot of questions about my motive to create HYP.

Here are my main reasons:
  • Have been doing a lot of work for other coins, but at the end of the day most was contract work and had someone else making the final calls
  • Wanted a project wallet for myself that I could customize the code to my liking and create something that I could be proud of
  • Coin economics experiment (I love econ) with a 750% stake rate in combination with max reward of 1,000
  • Give back to the high stake community that has given me so much over the last 6 months
  • Use a coin that I don't have to be accused of an unfair IPO or premine, and I really didn't want to deal with PoW phase

So I hope everyone understands my intentions. If not feel free to ask questions.

Quick announcement that Swag has scammed some members out of over 0.5 btc and tons of HYP. Please do not trade with this person. Also I am likely going to ban Swag from the logo contest. Swag if you would like to defend yourself please speak up now!  From my look at the blockchain it looks way too suspicious.

For major trades please use a trusted escrow!! I am more than happy to help.

This is why I have elected to not trade any of my coins. To high of risk. On another note I had 36 straight stake in less then an hour so that should help get things moving along. Someone else finally did get a stake.

Don't everyone move all your coins at once, leave coins staking to help keep the chain healthy! Smiley

Same here just moving a small portion of my coins that I just staked. So they would not be staking for many days. The rest were left in there to help keep the chain moving.

Looking forward to trying out the new Coin-Swap.net platform. I used it months ago when it was much more simplistic, but it looks like a fully functional and well designed exchange now! I hope it can get more volume though, not much on there now.

Thanks, we've kept a very low profile for a few weeks now while we did some extensive infrastructure redesign. We are going to start a marketing push in a couple weeks once we have finished some "behind the scenes" upgrades. Please let us know if you have any issues!

Deposits take 10 confirmations so check your deposit page to see the status.

Our apologies, it appears we didn't get on the correct chain the first time around. We are working on getting on the correct chain and sync'd now. I'll update as soon as we are up to date.

Awesome thanks again for the quick work. Feel free to contact me with any questions. Also keep in mind the chain gets stuck in two or three spots and a simple restart will usually get it passed that.

I seem to be the only one who caught this in the initial post

"After buying into TruckCoin and seeing the diminishing exchange rate because of lack of dev support, we decided to take things into our own hands."

So you bought into truck coin... allot, and when you realized you were losing your cash you forked it and added a super PoS, made a "new" coin and are selling it off to people .

No ones else sees whats going on here?
what is your point exactly.yes they made it quite clear what they are doing.truck continues on as is.and we get a new coin.i dont see the problem

I met presstab via TEK, where he redesigned the wallet and did some other dev work. While he's no longer in that project, I have since interacted with him a number of times. He's no scammer. Just a guy that likes to fiddle with the gears Cheesy Being of the same mind, minus the skillz, I'm in because of who the dev is, more than anything to do with the coin dynamics. If he makes some money on it, more power to him. If not, well, it's still an interesting experiment.
