i never encrypt my wallet, always open my wallet if i open my PC,and during this time always staking...

It is strongly recommended to encrypt your wallet. If your wallet.dat file is stolen, your money will be safe.

done,..thank you.

I recall there was a good summary of what each column meant in the updated coin control. Anyone have a link?

Also, if I'm getting coins older than the max age in the age column (which I am assuming is in days, but I'm not sure), and they're smallish blocks, I guess it's better to bite the bullet and recombine them into a larger say 1600 HYP block?

Thanks Grin

hey guys.My wallet amount has been wrong on richlist for awhile now.anyone know why?Saying i have 83k but i have 143k now
Go to coin control and double check that you don't have a lot of your coins in change addresses.  This is usually the problem.
That's exactly what it is. Cheers presstab
Right now s4c will split your remainder into a change address. This will be changed in the future.

There is weirdness afoot.

All of my blocks EXCEPT the block of 1600, which has ridiculous weight, staked today. But that one still hasn't. I see I'm behind by one wallet, which I'll fix a bit later, but this still seems odd.

Every other time I've had a problem with HyperStake, I did it, so I am assuming I probably did something. Is there a maximum time as well as a minimum? This one is over 40 days.

Make sure you are running your wallet 24/7 if possible.  Staking is random because it is done with hashes, just like PoW.

As you know I've been on the road, but as of yesterday I have full time internet again. From the time the tech left until about five minutes ago the wallet has been running, plus whenever I could before I got full time 'net. I assumed this could cause some staking issues. What I found odd is that all the small blocks staked, and the 1600 block did not. I just restarted the client, so we'll see if the song remains the same today. If it does, I'll just break the block up and see where it goes from there.

I would keep them. They continue to build interest (until 1k max) but they don't build more weight. Depends on if you think they will ever stake.

OK if 've now 9 mature coins Grin
But have to wait 34 day for reward

In this wallet you can check the staking, by the new wallet that function is disappeared or not?
For building community and prevent dumping after a free distribution this hyperstake is a nice invention/innovation.
Most time you see by freely distributed POS coins a dump of coins but with a hyperspace feature you can prevent that maybe.
I think I not become very rich with the amount of coins I now have but this coin I have for fun and to learn more about new innovations for CryptoCurrency.

Make sure that you keep your HYP in blocks of at least 500 at very minimum, if you have small blocks of 1 HYP or so, the odds are that they will never stake.

Well the blocks I'm looking at are roughly size 100 on average. The smallest I have overall is 12 HYP. The oldest I have is 55 days (I'm assuming coin age is in days) and is 71 HYP large. All I did was for the most part split my whole wallet into blocks of 1600 and let it ride, but is there a certain age/block size that I should consider when I need to give up the age and recombine into say a 1600 block?

So.... anyone saw the 150% increase in time?

I think CMC now uses a blended price between exchanges for market cap calculations. I saw HYP is definitely worthy of a penny a piece or more. This coin has a LOT of potential!

Yeah it shot up in price, riding up to around 47. Back down to 63... What caused the price jump in the first place?

BX Thailand ran out of HYP on their sell book, and someone bought at 22,000 sats.

Well just keep in mind that if one of those does stake, it will grab some of the others and stake them in the same block, until the block size is close to 350 or so. So you can wait for that, or can combine.

That doesn't even show up in exchanges when I click on the coin. All I recall is poleonix... We are still 40% up from the crash however. Going to buy in some more, maybe to where I can generated 1 BTC monthly Smiley

Here is a beta release of the wallet. It adds some new code to allow the client to sync past 21000 and 21500 without restarting. This also adds full Unlock For Mint functionality.

Please report any bugs with syncing or unlock for mint.
