I have never understood why mining pools dump instantly, especially on coins that could go up, but I guess that is just what the do!  I would think if you were a long term miner, you would want to create added value for coins when they can be mined for long periods.  Would be much smarter and profitable than dumping.

Well, I guess QTL needs to add 2.5  ppl a day to cover mining dumps....  I don't think that will be a problem with upcoming upgrades.

I am not positive if I am on the right track or not so I am assuming this, but I believe a lot of the issues are with the pools that automatically convert mined coins to BTC. I've seen a few of these pools. I would believe that they automatically sell the coin at the highest "Buy" price on the market, but not sure.

I am a miner myself, and nothing else pisses me off more than to see miners dumping the coins. I'm in it for long term and profit, mining a coin and just dumping it at the highest buy price, or dumping it for less, just cuts into the profits for everyone. I've watched many coins go from good to bad to worse, it's just stupid people who need to dump as much as they can to cover their mining costs, be it equipment or electrical bills. People, if you can't afford to pay for these out of pocket, then don't buy the equipment and/or use the power. If I can't pay for some new equipment out of my pocket, I don't buy it until I can afford to. If I can't pay for the cost of the power out of pocket, then my miners are shut down. I recently shut down my SHA-256 miners because the price/value of BTC has dropped to low to make it affordable.

Well, that's my 2 cents worth, what ever that's worth Smiley .

Can I mine this coin?  And Where?

It's on Hash-To-Coins pool, Not sure if it is on other pools yet, or has it own, haven't seen any listed.

Well, I guess the bright side is if QTL is being dumped from miners, than it is worth mining.  I think the Trader will draw more than the mining dumps in the long run.  Mine or buy and hold on this one.

I am curious, we are building a good community so far.  There has been a lot of response for ideas, suggestions, critics and bugs so far with the Trader.

At this point, where does everyone see this going in the future?  Will this be a widely adapted program used by lots of people.  Will this be an exclusive program used by the serious or even by those who got in early?  And, most importantly, when Markus gets premium features added, what should this Trader be worth?

I just wanted to see what you all thought about this to get a sense of where we all want to get to, aside from the obvious 1 QTL = 1 Bitcoin!  (whew, woke up just before I hit the keyboard!  I like good dreams....)

I think I may come back in. I am open to this idea

I support Magi the first anti-botnet mining network to give regular miners the fair chance of mining. Talk to #Magi on IRC: https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.freenode.net/#magi or on BitcoinTalk: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=735170.0

Hello everyone!

I just noticed 2.1.1.4 is released, what are the changes/bug fixes applied since 2.1.1.3?

Thanks!

I copied the .exe over one of my markets but when I hit "Start" on advanced ping-pong I get an exception error. I'll go back to 2.1.1.3 and wait for 2.1.1.5!

I'm a new user and 2.1.1.4 seems to be working fine except for my Cryptsy interface. I see no markets and the Market drop down box is empty, anyone have any ideas?

Update: Figured out the Cryptsy issue, had to use the Application Key in the settings on Cryptsy, instead of the the API Key. Smiley Smiley

Thanks

Mmm... I tried it again, same problem. As soon as I press "Start" on "Advanced Ping Pong" on "Bittrex" I get an exception error. See here:

2.1.1.3 however works fine for me.

Using v2.1.1.3 i've noticed this problem.

Using "Advanced Ping Pong" on "Bittrex", on CLOAK (for example) I set "Less Than" to 1 and "More Than" to 25 with" Place to Ask" set to 200.

So, I should hold no more than 200 CLOAK.

But, the trader purchases 200 CLOAK, puts them for sale, then purchases another 200 CLOAK. So I hold 200 CLOAK in "Available" balance and 200 CLOAK in "Reserved" balance - a total of 400 CLOAK.

Is it possible the trader is not counting the CLOAK for SALE when working out whether to buy some more? I think it is ignoring the "Reserved" balance. This means I hold twice as many CLOAK coins as the maximum I am setting in the trader.

Hope this helps!

Sorry, I'm not able to use the auto tasks yet, only have 2500 QTL so it's not enabled yet, but I'm working to the 3000 (which, personally, I think in awful high number, 2000 would be good) Smiley Anyone want to donate..lol j/k...
But so far, I'm loving this program, so simple and easy to use, can't wait to get it all enabled and for more exchanges to be added.

I think you have that all mixed up.
Perhaps you should watch the video's the Dev has uploaded. They explain a lot for new users.

If im understanding you correctly, here is what I think your doing wrong here.
The "Less Than" would mean you don't want to have less than that amount of Cloak.
The "More Than" would mean you don't want to have more than that amount of Cloak.(Put your 200 here)
And I suppose you are trying to do random bids, between 1-25.
You need to select the random bid option, and it will display a additional box under each of the Bid/Ask Quantities.
So for "Place to ask" you would put 25 in the top box, and 1 in the bottom box for "Ask" area. than same for the "Place to Bid'.

If I totally missed your point, than my bad (>")>

I'll check this error out.. I didn't get it when testing.  The improvement added was to ensure that the limit values would not be exceeded.  I should have another update out very soon.

Error appeared for me when I try and run more than one instance of the app at the same time on the same machine. At the moment I start auto pong on second instance with first one running.

MarKusRomanus have you heard of the SuperNet being created?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=762346.0

Only coins with innovative and original technology will be joining the core. I think Quatloo would have a good chance on being included.

You can send your application to join SuperNET CORE to coins@thesupernet.org

Ok, so I finally got my 3000 QTL's and I'm able to get the Trader working.

BUT, since I'm an amateur, I really need someone to help me with the auto trading part.  The auto ping-pong or "advance bid placing".  Someone can explain it for dummies please.

I want to test it but I'm not sure exactly how.  Even though I already looked @ the youtube video, part 1

My advice:
1/go slow, give yourself 2 weeks to test it out with pocketmoney.
2/Put only like 0.1BTC on your balance.
3/Don't let the baby run on it's own without your supervision.

ignore all if you like casino's

(I got all the info from the reads on the forum and some mistakes that hit my wallet)
