I am not having any issues with Polo api so far today. Using other software, not QTL. Just FYI.

This is the response I got from poloniex: We have added several new features to the API and it seems QTL is iterating through them all but not able to properly process them. Unfortunately we cannot roll back the new implementation because that would cause problems to other traders that have already updated to the new feature set.
I am sorry for the inconvenience. So it's looking bad for us until markus or the new dev fix it in the software. |

I have written to Frystikken on Facebook. We have 1 mutual friend so the message should go to his normal inbox.
I'm hoping to hear from him within a month based on his FB usage.
In the meantime I will write to Markus via his youtube / google account.
Altcoinex, I will pm you if I get the source code.

Let us know how that goes. Had several long exchanges with Markus last year and I highly doubt he will give up the code. It is not really that hard to write though, if you know what you are doing. If you know you can maintain it, write a new trader from scratch.

I have concluded I will for sure be making a trader bot, even if for just personal use(although I do fully plan to release it). That being said, it will be weeks before a functioning beta is ready, and probably 2-3 months before it is caught up to the more advanced features either implemented, or previewed as coming soon by the other bots. While I have not used CAT Trader, it seems to have all the auto-trading features QTL Trader does, with more options for customizability, so for anyone looking for an immediate replacement it seems like the obvious choice. I have not really looked into HaasBot but it seems even more extensible but its interface less intuitive to most users. There are other web based platforms such as CryptoTrader which I have not looked into at all. The interface of CAT is much closer to QuatlooTrader so is probably recommended. If your not in a to the minute rush for some reason, I would suggest waiting a couple more days to see if Markus responds to fyr or the community outreach and provides a quick fix, although at this point it doesn't look promising. Otherwise I would get CAT or wait for mine to come out. ;] |

We are waiting on MarKus to fix it. He said he would, but that was a month ago. I think everyone should send him a message and if we all ask nicely I am sure he would get around to it soon. I know he is working crazy hours, but this shouldn't take him that long to fix the current version with Poloniex arb issues.

Just sold my last remaining QTL. It was a good ride but it really feels it just faded out... Always waiting for Markus to have time to fix issues and always being told that QTL still has a bright future, it's molasses in here, the IRC is dead...
Holding on to the coin and waiting for some freaky price increase means monitoring these dead places and as far as keeping QTL to use the trader goes?... I'm fed up with alts. Most of them are scams and the few that have potential/future/good past are very few and at least have active development around them.
I could have made a nice profit selling my QTL when the price spiked around the release of the bot, did not, held on and it has never really gotten anywhere near that price...and IMHO it never will...

Yeah, maybe one day I'll eat my hat and hate myself... but I think the odds are very slim... I really don't like the fact that this thing hinges on one guy and he's always busy, updates are not happening etc.. etc... |
