Please test this:

v2.0.1.7

-use advanced pingpong
-Set a Stop limit
-have the limit reached
"bittrex: stop bid limit met ... placing bid order skipped"
-put the stop limit higher/lower BUG

-remove the stop limit,
-run advance ping-pong, works fine
-reset the stop limit, stop working BUG

my info:

balance 17862
limit 17000
limit 18000
bid & ask 25

solved in 2.0.1.8

looking good and stable, time to buy in for all you other folks , lol

Unfortunately it doesn't work on a Mac even with Mono.

You need a VM or setup Win7 on an old PC.

I'm using v2.0.0.18 and using the Stop limits to define a trading range with "Advanced ping-pong".

I am buying/selling in 125 coin blocks. When I get a part fill, I am stuck with a part block which cannot be sold as there is not enough coins to meet a 125 coin sell. When a SELL order is placed, can it be for the desired amount or whatever is remaining so that we do not end up bagholding any part orders. Thank you!

This is a very good suggestion. Also it seems that you always need 2x the coins to keep the ping pong order automatically updating. For example if you want to sell 200 coins and you have exactly 200 coins then it won't work "Insufficient funds error" when it's the time for the bot to shift it's order up the bid list. Auto scalping wouldn't work in that scenario until you have 400 coins it's like it's not waiting or checking for the balance to update when the bot order is cancelled before placing a new order. Can we have this fixed in the next version please?

currently using 2.0.1.8, but the "xxx stop Limit more than" doesn't work :-(

in advanced-pingpong-mode i have every Checkbox checked, except "stop when spread is less than".
i have also filled in the filed labeled "stop Tasks if btc Balance falls below xxx"

my altcoin Balance was 23540. i set "less than" to "21000", and i set "more than" to "23500". when the Pingpong starts, it says "placed sell: xxx @ xxx sat" and "stop bid Limit met, placing bid-order skipped". so far so good. then i went having a shower. i came back and in my order history i saw that i did 3 buy-orders and 0 sell-orders. i've no clue why it doesn't work :-(

edit: corrected my starting altcoin-balance, had a typo...
edit2: was on bittrex market

In v2.0.0.18 I am now using this feature successfully. Which cycle time are you using? I have greater success with 30s than I do smaller amounts. I think this may be related to the balance not updating quickly enough. I have reported this to Mr_Markus.

i had the cycle time Standard, means 30sec up to 120sec. yeah well ok that could be a possibility because i have also set the "refresh orderbook" at its Standard time of 30sec...maybe i should try it with "update orderbook = 25sec" and cycle time from "30sec to 120sec".

currently testing with your suggestion setting the "refresh orderbook" to a faster rate than the minimum "randomize minimum interval (s)"...so far so good... will have an eye on this...

Dear Lord, please grant me the ability...

I'm wondering if this has been my problem all along that no one seems to want to address lol.  Thank you for the post so much if this is indeed the issue.

Damn, it worked fine for a few minutes.  I have about 3x the amount of coins placed in the ask section and it updated fine for about 5 minutes then it just stalls out and doesn't scalp anymore.

Edit:  removed check from spread section and trying again.

Edit: so far so good I think it stopped because the spread was to close.

Suggestion for future version.

Right now it appears that when the spread is within the set limit to stop trading all current trades are left on the market.  It would be nice to have an option(check box) to cancel all orders when the spread falls below the assigned level in addition to having future trading suspended while within this spread.

what happens if two people (or more) are trying to 'scalp' at the same coin at the same time, will it endlessly keep trying to 1 up eachother until there is a sale?

Yes or until it reaches your satoshi difference threshold.

Few more questions about this software.

I noticed that to use the most recent version, I would need to purchase 3000 QTL ?  Is this correct?

How do you upgrade from one version to the other?

3000 for the advanced features yeah...   upgrading is easy, just download, transfer xml file. Start new program and type in password, loads up keys, save. Run

Yes,

So you will have 4 items in the same folder

bittrestrader.ico
keys.xml
newtonsoft.json.dll
quatlootrader2.exe
+
quatlootrader2.exe - shortcut

I drag that shortcut to the taskbar, so I have it with 1 click.
I drag the Quatloo-Trader2.zip always one level higher, so it replaces the files in the Quatloo-Trader2 folder.
Changing version takes 20 sec

in fact it would be easy to make a .bat file that you put next to the Quatloo-Trader2.zip + keys.xml with as task "unzip in 5 folder, copy .xml in each of them + create 5 taskbar items + overwrite all files" . That way an update takes 5 sec to renew 5 instances.

I just asked  Markus (dev) some direct questions about it in PM, we'll see when he answers.

Well, this is a bit of a blow for users using API trade bots on Bittrex. (although not massive)
https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/202673194-The-taming-of-the-Bots-Part-II

Order Entry

- Number open orders per market will be limited to 10.
- Only 100 orders may be placed in a one hour period on a given market.
(These caps apply both to UI and API trades)

My heart skipped a beat there - for a moment.

* I'm only listing 2 orders per market. One buy and one sell.
* I'm on a 60s cycle and so that's a maximum of 120 orders per hour should each order be filled on each cycle.

Phew!

That's not a concern to an intelligent bot. Quatloo trader will need to evolve to the level of:

http://www.butter-bot.com/
https://cryptotrader.org/
https://www.haasbot.com/haasonline-trading-server/ (large amount of technical indicators it can act upon)
