this totally blew my mind ("why is the ceiling only like 1 meter high? Is this inside some ventilation duct? why is everthing screwed to ceiling and walls? This guy is insane!") until I figured out the pic is rotated 90°.

I call this the hash cart.  I've got three more BEs and another small Anker coming and then I'll probably move all of it into the larger enclosure that I made in the last picture, with a set of fans closing in each end.

Wow... I like this...  Wink

It's a pool funneling through another pool or a collective of users using the same account. If you were around in the bitcoin-GPU-mining days pool stats like that would not surprise you at all.

LTC network hashrate is: 30.35 GH/sec
So, a pool is having 2Gh/s( 7-8% of network hashrate) and using an other one?

What would be the perceived benefit of this strategy?

Its gotta be a bot net.  Just speaking from experience running my 80,000 kh/s farm, I cannot imagine scaling that up by a factor 30.  I mean, we are talking 3,500 GPUS.

unless someone cracked the fpga scrypt riddle....

It seems to be new hashing power because the next difficulty adjustment is looking to be a really large one, roughly 18.35% and it is still climbing. I'm putting my money on botnet as well. I don't know how much they're testing or what their units perform at, but: https://forum.litecoin.net/index.php/topic,2702.0.html mentioned they are pretty much ready to run. It may be a combination of a few things.

Re-organized a bank of 83 Erupter USB's (~28GH/s) yesterday.

Also learned that USB 3.0 allows for much less devices than USB 2.0, so had to host the USB 3.0 hubs off the D-Link USB 2.0 hubs to get the devices to properly be recognized by the system.

39 Erupters - room for 8 more.
Just ordered 2 Drillbit/Bitfury thumbs too. Wish I had gotten in on the Drillbit Boards when they were available on groupbuy, but I was a bit late to the party.

I've got an upgraded Jalapeño and Little Single inbound as well.  I expect to have them in hand by 2023. Wink

I see a lot of rigs with multiple Block Erupters, and tons of USB hubs. Well I have 2 Block Erupters that I picked up for fooling around and testing CraPE with, but I doubt I'll ever mine what they cost back and make a positive ROI. I really think people throw that term "ROI" around without even knowing what it means, but that's another topic for another matter.

Anyways, here's my 90GH/s. It would take over 250 Block Erupters to get the same speed, and these 2 use less than 400W combined! I got another 60GH/s coming soon, and another 60GH/s that was a later order.
