These BF1 miners are pretty sweet, would take over 30 block erupter USBs to equal what I have in this pic

So, you paid $280 for bitcoins that are worth $140.  Did you know that hardware would never ROI when you bought it?.

So you can predict long term price and difficulty?

Cool, you should be rich soon.

Yes. I can. Difficulty will rise exponentially.   You can calculate how many BTC you will get from any mining equipment.  If the mining equipment gives you less BTC then you would get if you bought it directly on an exchange, you lose.

If you need any more explanation let me know.

Err...not really exponentially.  But, hey, don't let facts get in the way of a good argument.

The diff/ network hashpower is to be determined. lol There are too many variables at play to know or be able to say otherwise.

What if, for whatever reason(s), TMSC decides to put a cap on or stop production ?

Confined space.  Dry paper.  Hot metal.

I don't know what could possibly go wrong.

Here is a 3.1 terrahash/sec farm (for more info see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303376.0):

Note: only about half of these chassis are loaded up with hash units.

less than half actually - each rack of 9 units is just shy of a Terrahash (9*105GH)

still - very impressive. is it bad that i want to bid an amount i know itll never earn back, simply because its red?

24" PCI-E cables with 16AWG wires and stripped ends - great for server PSU mods, best prices https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=563461

Does anyone know the dimensions of the red or blue furys? They look a little bigger than the block erupters.

I think they are a bit longer it looks like, but similar width. however, the heatsink is larger, and presumably only about 5 fit in a 10-port hub for this reason. (although, the heatsinks can likely be smaller with time, since they are dissipating just as much heat as a block erupter)

Not confined open front and back. paper is dry you got me there. Barely warm is more like it. hub is room temp chips on devise are hot to touch but not painful (under ~130F) so nowhere near 451F need to ignite the paper.

The paper might be dry and warm, but unless there's a spark, I doubt the paper will get to 451F and suddenly light up.
