Which pool? You need to set it to a burst address, not a pool url. Burst address, like in my sig, (BURST-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX).

Hmm... Could have been Burst... But now Coinffeine get the headlines: "First Decentralized Bitcoin Exchange Launches". Article in cryptocoinsnews.com, here's an excerpt: Ever since the failure of Mt. Gox and the subsequent centralized Bitcoin exchanges which have been hacked, proved insolvent, have been the object of exit scams, or buckled under the weight of obvious manipulation, there has been clamor toward a decentralized exchange. There exists technology on which this can be done, escrow services and multi-signature addresses, but these methods, by themselves, add even more complexity to Bitcoin trading than already there. Thus the question has been – can we have a decentralized experience that doesn't feel like one? A decentralized exchange that works as flawlessly as the centralized counterparts (until they are robbed blind by their owners or hackers)?
Enter Coinffeine Too bad...

I have a few questions about this altcoin, it looks very similar to nxt, and its copycats. 1) Can the assets's maximum supply on these altcoins be modified? In other words, can you issue more assets than the initial issuing? In counterparty (XCP),mastercoin (MSC) you can create an asset and then issue infinite amount of it, which is obviously a problem 2) Is BURST listed on Bittrex? 3) Can this coin be mined with HDD or it is only for SDD mining? Please answer my questions

Please answer my questions If you think Burst is a NXT copycat, then you should study all the features that Burst has that NXT doesn't has - and return here when you are a bit more educated. 1) Don't know, as I don't deal with assets. 2) Yes. Whatever that matters. 3) This is a HDD mining coin, no one uses SDDs.

1) Don't know, as I don't deal with assets. 3) This is a HDD mining coin, no one uses SDDs. 1) Burst's assets are exactly like NXT. An amount is specified at creation, and then no more can EVER be created. 2) Both SSD and HDD work, although read speed is not a bottleneck, and so for $/tb, you are far better off using a HDD, and therefore everyone uses HDD

That doesnt mean BURST is an NXT copycat, i just said that NXT has many copycats, but it implies that BURST is way more than NXT, while many NXT copycats are not. Read my post again. 1) Can the assets's maximum supply on these altcoins be modified? In other words, can you issue more assets than the initial issuing? If I buy a load of 3 Tb HDD and I split them between several rigs, will it be considered as all mine on the pool or will I need to create several account ? It's better if they are all conspired as mine, right ?

All yours. One account is all that's needed.....and the blago miner proxy feature may be handy as well, cause if you have too many rigs, you may be penalized by the pool for submitting too many shares per block. This is IP address based, so extra accounts won't even help for this ( but this only really counts if you have A LOT of rigs, and can be avoided by using the settings in blago to limit shares to below 30 days or whatever).

I can't change "Set reward recipient:". I always get {"errorDescription":"Unknown account","errorCode":5}.
Thank you.
Which pool? You need to set it to a burst address, not a pool url. Burst address, like in my sig, (BURST-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX). I'm using ninja pool. I tried to put my passphrase of my wallet in "Set reward recipient: Passphrase:" "Recipient:" BURST-7CPJ-BW8N-U4XF-CWW3U and I got that error message.

Run the Run.bat file in the burst folder. Wait for the burst cmd client to fully load "Burst server 1.2.3 Started successfully" Open http://localhost:8125/ in your browser Enter your wallet passphrase Important:- Wait for blockchain to download see bottom right of browser (takes ages!) Open http://localhost:8125/rewardassignment.htmlEnter your details

Which ones are those? I know NXT, HZ and BURST. What are the others? Thanks a lot! Yep those, and NEM (XEM) http://nem.io/And tons of more crappyer low volume altcoins that were based on NXT which are 100% copycats. Now obviously NEM and BURST are alot more modified and with many more features, but still based on the NXT source code.
