There is no news. Perhaps immediately dumped?
But I think the Proof of Capacity is wonderful.
I sell at  580 sato ,  a bit earlier selling , didnt expect  rising to 900 sato,  will dump soon

It was 940 even! I think it will retest 1k and then go down.

Thanks to whoever sent me the 3 coins. All good now.

Quick question re mining. I read above there are 1.7 billion coins in circulation but hard cap at hard cap at 2.1 billion.

Is it worth me getting into mining? How many coins per block currently and how long is it expected to take to get to the 2.1 billion cap?

I was toying with the idea of re-purposing some altcoins towards an 80tb mining rig. Will hardcap be reached and it be redundant by the time it's even finished writing all the plots?

Thanks,

This is an original coin. It mines from hdd drives and uses very little power when mining. This is perfect for the summer, especially if you live in a warmer climate. Just a thought. Now do I think its worth buying hard drives, yes, but you might need to do the math. "ROI" how long would it take.

I see no other reason so must be just that. So many solid coins being pumped lately, I can't keep a track...

Hi,

I am holding Bust since two months at Poloniex and Bittrex. I think I have been taking too much risk.
Do you know which wallet is better to hold the coins, easy to install as I am not a tech guy.

The other question is the Burst assets. I don't understand them...  (are them for mining?)
A quick explanation will be really appreciated!!

Thank you!!

Hi there,

there are few wallets around. For ease of use , I'd say get one of the All in one (AIO) wallets depending on your system 32 bit or 64 bit. You can find them here: https://www.burstnation.com/filebase/

Well, assets...let me compare them to "real life" stocks. You buy assets and they will pay you out dividends once in a while . Some pays daily, weekly some monthly. You can trade them also on the Burst Asset exchange.
You can research them here: https://www.burstnation.com/wbb/index.php?board/13-asset-exchange/

Also, should you have any other questions, you can ask them either in the forum or the shoutbox at https://www.burstnation.com . Both of them are VERY active in that vibrant , helpful community.

Thomeefl69 many thanks for the explanation Smiley

What do you mean with All in on wallets? I would like to start mining as well with a rasberry, are these wallets ok?

All in one means that the wallet also includes a plotter and a miner, so you can start both the mining and doing transactions from a single app.
Unfortunately, I do not think it works on a raspberry it being ARM and all. Last I checked it was windows only.

Many thanks for the explanations! Smiley
I am going to try to install the wallet. I hope is gonna be easy to backup the key. I am not a tech guy

Thanks!

i did the math on this with the recent price pump, and it's very short, if you account an hhd that cost $240 like the seagate of 8TB and give you 6k burst per month at the current value of 800 satoshi per burst, you have almost 0.05 btc in one month, which are $80 or so, this is a 3 month roi, electricity is not something that matter here so i excluded from my math, to me it look pretty good, what do you think?

Do you think calculating ROI with the pumped prices is a good idea? Cheesy I'd say something like 12-18 months is a lot more reasonable ROI prediction with Burst.

After long time it got volume in four digits on Bittrex what is the reason of recent spike ? What is going on someone here knows something to tell interested people like me. Burst coin is here for long time and at start I also was active then lost interest due to other projects. Today saw its volume crossing over 1000 BTC awesome.

from another thread

with burst it is not only about the general pumping which happens to altcoins. Perhaps not many of you know but this coin is tied with a specific casino supporting it. Its name is BTCDragon. I know it because I once worked for their sig campaign. So, I'd say burst is thus more dependent. If one is to deal with burst, I think it is useful to look at how the casino is doing and keep in mind that perhaps it's pumping the price.

Thanks!

There is no "key" to backup in Burst. It's NXT based blockchain. Effectively, your password is your key, and once you've chosen your password, there is no changing it. So make sure you've created a very strong password! Otherwise, simply choose a new one, create a new wallet with it, and simply send yourself any funds/assets you might have had.

Feel free to stop by the forum if you have more questions! https://forums.burst-team.us   Smiley

You mentioned the casino BTCDragon might have a lot to do with the Burst price sky rocketing, well it could also be that Burst coin also has BURST Casino which only takes Burst coins and that there are a lot more players playing on this casino then BTCDragon. Also the Burst casino just released a new game "Keno" which might have brought in many new players. Also the asset/s exchange has a lot to do with it as well, just look at the top performing assets on Coinmarket cap and the only was to buy these assets is with Burst coins.

I can promote your project on X to my 100k+ followers for a reasonable price. Just DM me for prices.

You should be able to find it here: https://forums.burst-team.us/category/9/burst-software
Blago made a backup on github https://github.com/Blagodarenko/plot_optimizer_1.6-j6jq

I suggest you try Xplotter, will create optimized plotfiles directly:
