Why staking wont work?
Got the wallet unlocked? It is unlocked. After two days it says: Not staking because you dont have mature coins |

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Stake work wel,l but that was extracted coin so unfortunately it takes quite a long time. These were probably the theory  |

The answer to your question is on page 1 of this thread. I see nothing of "when" on the first page of this thread. Is this to mean you are still dripping out over a 5 month period, even after reducing the amount 4 times?! My personal opinion is that the "dripping out" is still the best solution. Each weekend the xmg price gets divided by two.... so I can't imagine what would happen if all the old magi coin was swapped at once... |

Just want to let you know that miner compiles and runs okay under ubuntu 14.
Nice. I have had a devil of a job getting anything out of Cygwin on Windows. First I had to patch the makefile to eradicate a bug with -pthread, then managed to build an executable. However, I can't pass any parameters to the minerd.exe to get it to work - it just displays the options as if I had used minerd.exe --help. Very frustrating atm.  |

sounds about right as my 2 CORE CPU gets about 4-6 kh roughly. Yours is a quadcore so it should be around 15 - 30 kh how many threads are you using? |
