What happened to TrueCryptonaire??

The signs were clear a month ago... BTC was on the verge of a rise and alts would clearly get demolished. Some folks still don't learn

Bitcoin is now Pump that have a certain amount of drain at a higher price in November will drop to 400-500$ and maybe less altcoins the rest will go to the mountain.

Btc will rape the altcoins in November..... Prepare for carnage if you are not in btc and holding some worthless alts when btc breaks the last ATH and STAYS up there!

BTC will dump in Nov - Dec to unkown.

You have no idea what you're talking about

2017 is looking to be a better year than 2016

I am waiting for the Monero dump but apparently there is nobody willing to fill my bids anymore.  Cry

Well shit, TC, why didn't you say so. All I gots to do is buy more XMR and the price will drop right into your pocket!

j/k sort of. I am still bullish and way too much in...

I buy when the price slides down. Monero likes down hill and it has always been like this. Monero usually drops 5-10 % and bounces after that 3-5 %  and thus the price slightly declines so it requires some patience and long term planning to acquire Moneros.
Every once and while (1-3 times a year) the price rises to the peak where it is possible to sell some coins. Dumping is not recommended at the peak because it lowers the amount of bitcoins you get from the buyers. Much better strategy is to put asks in front of the spot and waite until some bullish guy comes to pick them up. Never sell all your Moneros either because there is always potential to rise higher.
No matter what you think guys, monero will definitely give us profit in the following months.. Be positive that monero will rise again and that is the only way we can see the price to rise, I know some of us here lose our appetite in buying as we were dismay of the weak showing of monero but that how it works, if there's a fall back there's a rise up..

Probably once BTC tops we will have the next up wave. Where and when is the question. The GUI should generate a nice spike too.

My short term outlook is negative. There is a somewhat likely scenario that XMR does not have positive news, 0.01 is tested and fails, and BTC continues to look good.

In this case, nothing is preventing testing 0.004. That one will hold Smiley

I would not forget the blocksize issue here. When it takes a day or more for a transaction to clear the Bitcoin network, this becomes an issue with a real end user impact.  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1661792.0;all. Every time the price of Bitcoin starts to move this issue rises with its ugly head and puts a damper on the excitement.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Because big money will be moved into a not liquid coin with a price around 0.5 BTC? Of course.  Roll Eyes

the current bitoin issue could spark short term interest, especially in darknetmarkets, who want transactions to clear fast and without hassle, therefore it could have relevance even short term. given that price is fairly stable right now, the combination of those 2 things might be helpful for adoption

Although the short term price impact may be negative, the side effects of both these sideshows is free publicity for XMR. BTC rally is highlighting the block size issue again, and the ZCash launch is focussing the spotlight on privacy issues. BTC may rally hard from here, or not (not sure how far it is possible for it to go the mess that we just saw with tx delays keeps repeating ), but when the dust settles, hype dies down and smart people have raked over the ashes, XMR will almost certainly gain some new advocates.

As ArticMine said a few posts back :

Quote
Identify a real need in the marketplace, and start a business to meet that need. Chances are that you will succeed even if the odds appear really stacked against you

XMR is already here, ready and waiting for people to wake up to it's benefits. Tons of media attention about privacy in crypto is great, and is sparking debate amongst a larger group of people. BTC's weaknesses are being exposed. The fact that we essentially now have a corporate 'Privacy Coin', whatever we may think of it, that is about to be listed on multiple exchanges, lends legitimacy to the concept and will make it harder for govs to take any actions against any single private coin. And XMR will without doubt get free publcity from it all, perhaps even in mainstream media if ZCash keeps the hype machine running (which it will), as it is a natural part of the conversation. This is all good news for the long game.

As for ZCash sucking money from XMR, not sure how that is even possible in the next few months as the coin supply will be so limited. It has to have some meaningful market cap and a decent number of coins in circulation before that can happen. Sure traders will trade it regardless, but the price will be pretty meaningless IMO and likely way above any sort of 'sensible' investment level.

Cool story about The Verger by the way! Thanks for that  Smiley

That pretty much depends on the whales if they want to crucify Monero until it is dead (and help it later to resurrect as well).
In the same manner as the fiat currencies are controlled by the centrla bank, Monero is controlled by the whales. If a whale (not to mention Cthulhu) wants the price to go down, the small fish basically cannot prevent it from not doing so.
I think that is also a weakness of the current state of Monero (and crypto in general). It is controlled by very small club who can and will manipulate the price to their favor.

In case a whale wants to dump, I have some bids on the way to the grave.

Is monero will be the next good altcoin in the market? and it could be at the second place? If the monero will be good in the next few months and if the price will be higer then there are chance the monero could take place into the second spot and it's really good to hold some monero.

I purchased Monero when it was at higher price and I believe this current price setback is just temporary. I went on to invest it to online casinos like Crypto-Games and Safedice for decent returns while waiting for good news. Cheesy

I'm holding for now too. I would like to accumulate a bit more at this price but have other targets which I have assessed as a higher priority, I hope I don't regret my prioritisation.

With the release of Zcash and the huge investment it will get from people who don't realize its a huge scheme cooked up by the Mossad or NSA or something,
I expect Monero to lose both volume and value for a bit.

Hopefully people wake up and realize that Zcash is seriously flawed and very likely nefarious,
and move back to Monero,
but people are fucking retarded.
