Great update, will GetGems support Apple Watch as well?
We are waiting to get our hands on one and than will start exploring this option. (Note: GetGems web client is being worked on and is higher on the to-do list) Okay, also, when you invite friends through the contacts tab, it won't give a user specific download link.

After update, the app was not associated with any wallet in my Samsung S3 phone, however I entered 12 words to open my wallet in new update but the wallet which has been opened is a different wallet! I check my wallet in countrwallet and the address is also different with the address in app! i checked 12 worlds more than 10 times (i did copy and paste also) . everything I entered is correct but the wallet which is opened in app is different with my wallet in countrwallet.

Read back from last update. This is so you now have an off chain wallet and on chain. So you can keep you tokens safer on old wallet or you can now move some to your app wallet (think of it as a real wallet you wouldn't have thousands of dollars in) Your app wallet will now receive airdrops etc and can send gems quickly without charge.

It took a good while for me, but it did eventually show funds.

It took a good while for me, but it did eventually show funds. For an existing wallet only the first blockchain sync will take time, for a new wallet it will be instant.

Nice update guys. - Here is a bug which is the most important and should have the highest priority to be fixed, i just tried to send 1 Gems to an address and after confirming i got the message "No response from API server, are you connected to internet", which i am, but the 1 Gems is subtracted from my Gems balance though. Another person had the same issue but with more Gems involved, don't know if the Gems still gets delivered after this error message. I believe this bug should be fixed before big promotion since making transactions is one of the most used options. I'm using Galaxy S4.

When is this coin going to get its act together? Nearly a year have passed and they still don't have the app on apple yet. I think this coin is going to die.

Sorry but i rather wait longer and have them some bugs fixed and release a stable, working iOS version to new users. The app has seen many feedbacks and improvements over the time so the iOS users experience will only be better. According to their roadmap the second version would be released in May so they are on schedule to me. We are also preparing to announce iOS version of GetGems will be available for download soon after this update.

I think it would be nice if the app informs users about the amount of transactions fees for both gems and btc. I'm sure many newbies will make on-chain transactions without knowing there is a fee. To be honest this happened to me i sent 1 gems to an address outside the app but i totally forgot about the fee. This should be made clear in the app.

The app continues to fail in sending. No one could know they have to copy and paste an address from the app. Give this app to the average 14 year old and they would throw it away in frustration after 30 seconds.

No one could know they have to copy and paste an address from the app. Give this app to the average 14 year old and they would throw it away in frustration after 30 seconds. Don't you see the bold letters at the right saying "send gems" or "send btc"? When you click on it and you have not copied the address it says "No valid address was found in clipboard" so it lets you know you need to copy an address before you can send it which seems pretty clear even for a 14 year old. Also when you tap on the QR code the first time it shows you tooltips like "Scan QR code to send GEMS to an external address" and "Let others scan the QR code to get your GEMS address." In chat when you tap on the paperclip you also see the option of send gems and send btc, so i don't see any issue with sending. Go to settings and select reset tutorial to see these tooltips. Although it would be nice if an extra tooltip can be added about sending gems/btc from chat, this tooltip can pop up when you open a chat window for the first time. So the things i would like to see is. - Make the transaction fees clear for gems and btc within the app. - Add extra tooltip about how to send gems/btc from within the chatbox.

You need BTC to send GEMS to an on-chain address right? Normal .001 miners fee? But off chain (to another GetGems wallet) there should be no fee to send GEMS.

I don't know precisely how much or if you need gems or btc to do on-chain transactions and many others won't know it either, thats why users should be informed about the fees in the app.
