Happy to join the pool. I tried test runs at antpool, slushpool but I think those
pools are taking too much profits. Nicehash is good but I am not sure about it´s
security because it got hacked.

How long does the rewards take to be seen on my account?

I run Antminer s9 14Th which still should be profitable.
My other miner is Antminer L3+ that´s for litecoin mining
but in other pool
You get a reward each time anyone finds a block Smiley
Got one, block #510992. Not much though...

Gotta hit full ramp first.

As stated on the Help->Payouts page, your rewards for your work are spread out over 5Nd.
Thus your total reward for mining before that block will depend on the blocks found in the 5Nd after each shift you mine in.

I am confused as to how luck works in all of this....

Is 100% good?  Is lower % better?  Or is higher % better?

Is luck and Diff % relational?

I'm having a hard time understanding the luck part in all of this.  Red is bad, green is good...but luck varies..

Are we trying to be at 100% luck all the time?

Expected luck is 100% and if we hit that on every block all is good in the BTC world.  Better luck is less than 100% and worse luck is greater than 100%.

Our block 509209 was super lucky at 7.588% while our block 491758 was super unlucky at 928.788% Cheesy

Some other pools represent luck in reverse for some reason Huh

To help ease the mind of new members, could any senior members share the amount of coin they've earned, at the th/s that they had at the time of the earnings, near or over 6 months?
I think it may help some new members put earnings into perspective that way. Thanks in advance!!!

A single block's luck is of course so random that it's completely meaningless to try and make any claims about the pool performance based on a single block.
It's all of course related to statistical samples.
A small sample of a large set of data is not going to give a useful representation of that data, and one single block is basically meaningless in that respect.
Aside: there's also the CDF column (that shows the chances of that happening) to compare with any of the very few pools that show that also.

The top two tables are what's useful to see the pool's performance.
The CDF[Erl] is actually the most useful number on the whole page ... and no other pool shows it Tongue
Seriously, most if not all other pool operators have no idea about the statistics of mining.
slush is the best example of that - after running a pool for the longest of all pools, he still had no idea about checking the statistics of his miners in Dec 2015 when they all lost a truck load of BTC due to that.

Anyway, as the number of blocks increases, you get more useful data with the CDF[Erl] which is showing, in the top two tables, the probability of getting worse than that result.
There's also Luck% columns in the tables that show 50% luck as bad luck and 200% luck as good luck.

Totally different comparison though, with the pool size being different, as well as the difficulty (and block fees).

See, that's where some people get confused.  On the block percentage, the lower number is "better" or luckier, but on the CDF[Erl], it's the opposite.

i look at it like a job where u are paid 1000 buckaroos a week this salary was calculated for a 50 hour work week. sometimes yer lucky and only have to work 5 hours in a week ( 10% lucky ) sometime u suck and have to work 100 hours grrr (200% lucky though the luck is bad after 100% ) Cheesy

although the work week resets and u are paid when a block is found instead of time related.

That's the ramp up...things are getting better for you!  Notice how you actually made more with the fees on the last block smaller.

Indeed they are. As expected. I have always been the instant gratification type. The ramp up was extremely difficult. Hell, waiting over 2 hours for a block on slush was difficult. But I know that if this paid less than slush, there would be 0 big miners here. So I had to temper my pool hoppiness and wait. I believe waiting will pay.

I think I finally have the notices configured now but have a question about how to display luck.  Right now I am showing the diff % as the luck.  Does that make the most sense to everyone?  I have it setup so that the system sends out text alerts right away once it gets the block number and value.  Then when it gets the pool hash rate, it sends the email with a lot more details.  Right now I am estimating the pool hash rate based on the shares submitted.  Should be close to the BTC per Th for your miners but wont be perfect.  Anyway, let me know if I should change the luck percentage around...

We REALLY got hit bad with two blocks around 900% in October.  Those really dropped our rate a lot.  I know it will come around - and the nice part is with the smaller hash rate (bigger payouts per Th we submit) - when it does come back, we will be doing the SUPER HAPPY DANCE!  Those stats will turn around very quickly!
