Man I would love to have 5 or 6 acres for solar farm could push 180kwatts with 6 acres which means 40-60 kwatts of miners. could you imagine 60 kwatts of bit-furies at .10 watts a gh! that would be 600th!

I like the Chart Zou. Growth is good. I think that's the most fun about Mining, the tracking of the rewards, progressions, etc. Thx Nhando. It's just a copy paste of my rewards page in Google Spreadshhet, ordering A->Z by block number, and adding a column that adds the rewards (to get the orange line) I had made a quite convoluted page for Philipma StickPool run, that was fun In fact, that would be cool if the table on the rewards page would be a real table so I could use the =IMPORTHTML(URL,"table",number) spreadsheet function. But I would still have to be logged in... so maybe it wouldn't work... I don't know If that's something I could get with the API... and how I would do it anyway :p

this is technicly not mining directly to the wallet cause you are accepting btc after the blocks have matured if i remember correctly
I thought I read somewhere that coinbase makes you fill out forms and what not if you have more than 200 transactions per year. I don't know if deposits count towards those transactions though.

They don't force anything yet it but if you have high activity they send an email questionnaire with only one question: For Coinbase's record-keeping and tax-reporting obligations, we are required to collect certain information from all Coinbase Accounts which are used primarily for business purposes. Your account came to our attention as one which might be used for business activity and which might require our collection of additional tax-related information.
By Friday, January 22, 2015, please respond "yes" or "no" to the following question:
Is your Coinbase Account primarily used for business activity?
If it is primarily used for business activity you reply yes and they send you the forms to fill out. If it is used primarily as a hobby and you say no, then they reply back saying "OK, thanks so much for letting us know!" and move on to the next account. This may change in the future as the tax laws dealing with bitcoin evolve.

You know, Zach Monroe needs to build a automated payments import function, entering all these payments is getting to be a full time job!
well, you can now bulk import your rewards using a .csv file (i still don't understand the point and the result though :p )

I got a 1099 from them stating all the cashing out that was done for each month of 2015. So I guess if you just leave the bitcoin in the account no taxes are levied? Just when you cash out? Just bitcoins coming in are not taxed?

Just bitcoins coming in are not taxed? Read this link about how Coinbase will require IRS reporting. This is why I moved out of Coinbase and only use them when I'm ready to cash out some coins to FIAT. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1335274.0

I chatted with coinbase and they said they were not doing 1099's. But I just got one from them for last year. They said I must have been one of the select few? wtf? I see that moving BTC in and out of coinbase without converting to USD may still be taxed in the link nhando sent. You could bankrupt yourself moving btc in and out of coinbase without cashing out or buying with btc if this is the case.
