As soon as people point a lot of renters here, luck goes to mediocre. it was just fine at 30-35PH and as soon as we get good luck, all those renters jump in and the result is a lot of nothing.
My point also, could be that the problem is actually Nicehash/ westhash when hash is pointed at Kano. Worth investigating? It looks like most of the new hash the past few days comes from 17JVLWM... and they sure are pulling their weight! If I can't hit a block myself, I hope 17JV hits a block every hour on the hour, 24/7. I can live with that!

Anyone else who uses vh's iOS CKPool Stats app having issues? It's not showing the pool hashrate or workers for me and I don't get any block notifications. Figured I'd check here to see if others are noticing this before uninstalling/reinstalling.Nevermind - it literally came back the second I posted this. How's THAT for troubleshooting!

According to Kano, it's a farm with Avalon hardware. I'm ready for them to hit some more! Blocks are certainly few and far-between - even on the network, it seems.

Man, I would gladly cancel my measly 80TH rental if it meant some steady blocks would come our way. But I seriously doubt that has anything to do with our dry spell. Pretty sure that would be impossible.
Anyway, I've had the 80TH running for about a day and a half with ~ two more days on the rental @ .0026. If the price rises above .0028, I'm just gonna cancel it.
The 80TH in addition to my hardware gives me ~ mid 90TH hash on the pool.
So, in conclusion, let's find some freaking blocks!
Thank you for your cooperation. That is all.

Just for fun and to satisfy my curiosity I am trying out this renting game
Put in an order with W..hash for 2 days @0.0026 (and got several hours 0.0025 to start)
So if my math is correct - this pool should hit 4.14 blocks per day at 100% @43 PH (43/1494)x144=4.14 blocks/day?
Roughly - To payback on my rental cost - this pool has to hit just under 6 blocks - per day for 2 days. This might happen once or twice a month. (0.07/.006=11.66 blocks over 2 days or 6 blocks/day).
To my way of thinking its a mugs game. Perhaps the fees on a small rental swamp the reward?
I will see the rental out - but never to return to the rental scene.

I wish I could get my hands on Avalons in future but the power draw is a disadvantage ... hope Avalon can improve on that.

On the 17th and 18th of this month there were 6 blocks each day. It would be nice to return to that over the next two days. We shall see. And I wish you (all of us) good luck!

Cheers - rate back to 0.0025 so that will extend time a bit Seems that if the rate you offer is too competitive - they unload more than your limit sets too often and you burn your credit too quick (by about 20-30%)

Yowza, yowza, yowza... let's rock... I'm fine with it! Totally fine! More blocks! Feeling good about it all 'cuz my partner and I figured out how to help low-income/disabled folks get started with mining. We'll probably carry through with it. I'll start another thread, though. I don't think I/we would have gotten this far without the support I've received here. You can feel good about that as well.

People! where's the blocks? ... meanwhile, I've never even found one in over a year and a half My BDR is still under 1 though. -- I've added another node in EU - this one's in France fr.kano.is same as de.kano.is, sg.kano.is, dk.kano.is, jp.kano.is Same provider as jp.kano.is ... lets hope this one's network is a little more reliable ... but we'll see ...
