All right...a little jocularity is needed...I just had dinner of sauteed leftover roasted chicken pieces mixed with leftover potatoes O'Brien, washed down with a PepsiMax.

We should have a block by 0500 UTC.

 Roll Eyes

EDIT: ...and an aperitif of Glenlivet 18...just to make sure...  Tongue

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

From where I sit, this pool has been rolling along for a while now...I just watch for the monthly block output.  Anything over a 2 block average and I'm golden  Cheesy

Jan 2016,  78 Blocks, 2.52 Blks/Day
Feb 2016, 103 Blocks, 3.55 Blks/Day
Mar 2016, 129 Blocks, 4.16 Blks/Day
Apr 2016, 134 Blocks, 4.47 Blks/Day
May 2016, 126 Blocks, 4.07 Blks/Day
Jun 2016, 132 Blocks, 4.40 Blks/Day

This is why I say a couple of slow days doesn't matter to me...I stick to the big picture and watch the longer stretches!  Shocked

That is really some good information.  I like the way you analyze!

I know it wasn't.

When you have 10x or more on the line though, that is a huge hit, with costs , power involved.

We usually get back on track with the averages, but still hurts like heck when you write off a 2-3BTC loss per day.
Each day of no income can take 7days to recoup at normal 'luck'.

Well, just to cheer you up, I did the DB calculation for you ...
Since mining here, you've been paid 105% PPS Cheesy
Hopefully that helps with the bad luck days Smiley

I will however, point out that your BDR is awesomely good also, you've found 1.56 times the number of expected blocks!

We're not debating the pool's overall streaks.

I was talking about the fact that people tend to keep saying not to worry about the short-term slow days, and look at the long term average.
Which to most larger miners/farms don't really matter as they are losing a lot more than a few tenths of a BTC per day of bad luck.

At current 44PH we need what, 5blocks per day MINIMUM to get an average mining income.

...and we're at over 100% again.

Like I said, I'm sure we'll rebound as usual, but considering how much some of us ARE losing over the past 4 days sometimes, pointing out a useless number is irking.. LOL

Go Big or Go Home.

I've been noticing that the payments im receiving from the your pool are all out of order. Its probably nothing but im going to keep an eye on it others should too. I understand confirmations take time but is this bitcoin network slowing down transactions or the system used for payments lagging.

The payments are processed manually, and therefore may not necessarily show up in the transaction register in the same order they were found. They always correlate and balance per batch, however.

Most large mines understand and look at the long term not short term, the few that look at the short term don't normally stay around for long. They don't say, the past day was bad so lets do something different, they say the last month or greater was very bad lets see what we can do to change that. How many times do you see multi-petahash moving besides rentals?

Sticking with Kano and riding this out!

Thanks CKPool, I've nearly mined enough to pay my next holiday instalment and with my low 14.5 th/s I'm only earning like $7 a block!

Benidorm here we come!

Come on good luck, one more holiday payment to go yayyyyy!

chicken angry...............

need to make much happy very soon

I have ZERO DegC outside at present so my power (home heating) is free - since I would be running AirCon (if no miners) for slightly higher power consumption. I have not turned on my aircon in winter for 3 years now - ha.

I try to explain this to friends but their eyes glaze over when I explain my heating is for free.

Over the next week I am sure it will completely turn around anyhow and I will profit from heating.

Pain will be gain shortly..........

Wohoooooo!

My first block ever!!

congrats for your 1st block contribution to the pool!

on the subject of dry spells like what we have now..... don't worry, kano pool is very good in rebounding.

there is always sunshine after rain at kano pool.

50 and 100 blocks luck is a good indication that we are still profitable on monthly basis.

nobody can control "bad luck" if it happens it will, so just keep calm and mine on, and keep you chicken offering coming!

If I provided you good and useful info or just a smile to your day, consider sending me merit points to further validate this Bitcointalk account ~ useful for future account recovery...
