Correction made. Transaction fees should go up, so you will be earning less per block find, but it will not be exactly half.

More likely trying to fix the board overheat problem...1400W is 1400W so long as it's clean power. It seems the way folks have been getting the S9s into line (ie., getting the board overheat thing in line) is underclocking. Wouldn't know myself...haven't got one yet. Probably in a week or two...  Cool

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

@philipma1957,
Do you find that high-powered fans blowing into the miner intakes cause the miner fans RPM's to rise? That was my experience and it concerned me that it could cause the miner fans to fail prematurely.
I have two of those black/silver Lasko weather shield fans and need to figure out a way to use them properly. I'm using one to pull the heat to the window, but I'm all out of window space to use the 2nd fan.
I'm always tinkering with the cooling. Last resort is down-clocking.

Back on topic....
Come on blocks! Let's get rid of that fugly red!  Cool

My "wind tunnel" config uses the Lasko fans...the cheaper ones. Works great. I'll post a pic a bit later.

I am considering to drape a movers blanket over this in the shape of the letter c

l M l

it would be pretty good. I have some fireproof materials I may try.  that will be next week.

@ wmabern   if look at photo there is a filter between the five miners and the push fan.

plus the push fan is back a bit from the miners .  so far rpm's appear okay

You can send it to me if you want Wink

I've got free power and enough headroom to handle an S7.

I'm pretty happy with my b1 so far ,,,,,  runs pretty stable at 13.7 now -- every few days it drops down to around 13.4 and it just needs a reboot

Even if it is advertised at 14. It still beats the hell out of having 3 x s7s ,,,, the profitability is way higher

Just waiting for some cash flow to get a few more now

------ and did anyone else notice that as soon as total network hits 1800ph it is as if there is a kill switch somewhere that drops it back down
