Main controlling node at the main datacentre went down ... I'm now looking for an assassin to kill whoever the tech guy was who hit Ctl-Alt-Delete ... yes literally that's what happened All is OK again. Looks like I need to send out 2 assassins My request from the data centre to find out why someone rebooted the server ... led to someone rebooting it again ... twice. All OK ... again. Vinny takes BTC.

To infinity and beyond...on two 741s and one of only 3...nope, make that 4...full nodes in Hawaii...on <30A. (I have other gear on the Hoth ice planet)

It looks like there are bigger problems, but I have a question for when anyone gets a chance. Does it seem like rewards are more than halved? Also, is there any link to a working mining calc or one where I can change reward? Bitcoin wisdom still has it set at 25.... Just trying to negotiate a rental contract outside MRR, the prices people are paying are just plain dumb. I can get direct mining and better price on my own.
I use this one: http://www.coinwarz.com/calculators/bitcoin-mining-calculatorI need one that just gives reward for speed or the equation. I can calculate my profit for hardware on my own. Really just need reward for speed estimates on the fly for renting. Start my new job monday and storage liquidation will begin so I can buy, can't wait. Gotcha. I'm not aware of one that does that. But, I'm sure there probably is one.

That's perfect kano thank you. If you had one just like this where you put in rental rate that would be pretty cool;) Definitely the best calc there is by far.

So if you guys are renting on MRR your probably going lose money no matter how you swing it. 0.00000116 per gh is the new estimate. Since the average price is 0.00000235 I feel I need warn you guys. Since every time we get a block the rented rigs goes up drastically. I have to assume Kano users are driving prices up. So be fair warned you are paying over double what you will make at %100. Kano is an awesome pool, but you are probably throwing you money away renting daily at these prices. If someone gets your favorite rig, you can always rent it after the prices stabilizes. You can rest easy knowing who ever rented it will lose their money and back away. No pool is hitting %300 on weekly or monthly targets.

I can add yet another line in there for whatever that is - bitcoin expected BTC/hr/TH (for 100% PPS)? The one you have works fine. It gives the BTC est per day and they use per day for rental prices. So I can put in 1 GH/TH/PH and see the rate. I was thinking it would be cool if we could enter the rate per day for rent instead of machine cost to see real time rental estimates. It would probably need to be a separate calculator. Like the same one, just revamped for renting. So we could put in the speed we want to rent, rental length, and the rental rate. Then get a good idea of what to expect. I imagine there are a lot of people renting that know its a gamble, but really don't know the odds. Its easy to feel like you are making money when its coming in renting, but in reality you are slowly losing money. I have a feeling a lot of people are mining and renting who don't know that their margins are shrinking as a result.

Hehe all the rentals will be gone tomorrow. More payout for us, the real miners. Go home posers or pay for asics and the electricity. The gravy train has left.
There never was a gravy train. Like I said most people, like me are mining also. Sometimes hash rate addiction > what you can run. I have been mining on asics since they came out and before that GPUs. Which is why I have been mostly renting, I'm not paying out of the ass for a brand new s9 before the halving or buying another first wave of anything bitmain. Asshole

Much better:) Sounds like he/she has the mentality and social skills of a grade-school kid. Unfortunately, message boards are full of them, as I'm sure you know. Fortunately, this pool seems to have mostly grown-ups with a rare troll sprinkled in.

That would be nice. We had 3 six-block days and a seven-block day after the child last appeared.

And updated it a year or so ago to match what it was back then. And you can change it. Though I did answer your question here ... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=789369.msg15530716#msg15530716
