Most connections from EU to the pool have lost connection twice so far ... once 1.5 hours ago and once again about 30 mins ago. Everything came back up again each time, but seems to be a network problem in he.net An example MTR to SG for anyone technical mtr --report -T -4 -w -b -c 100 sg.kano.is Start: Sat Sep 17 07:19:02 2016 HOST: i3174 Loss% Snt Last Avg Best Wrst StDev 1.|-- 104-194-28.unassigned.userdns.com (104.194.28.193) 0.0% 100 3.8 3.8 0.2 14.4 4.1 2.|-- 192.228.109.49 0.0% 100 0.6 1.7 0.2 10.6 2.8 3.|-- core1.las1.as53340.net (192.228.109.121) 21.0% 100 3.4 1509. 0.3 49087 7508.5 4.|-- 10ge3-2.core1.las1.he.net (64.62.249.89) 51.0% 100 0.4 5775. 0.3 95212 19612.6 5.|-- 100ge2-2.core1.lax1.he.net (72.52.92.121) 56.0% 100 8.5 619.1 7.5 7024. 1825.1 6.|-- 100ge2-2.core1.lax1.he.net (72.52.92.121) 52.0% 100 16.1 5476. 7.7 78575 16360.7 7.|-- pacnet.10gigabitethernet2-3.core1.lax1.he.net (216.218.223.206) 53.0% 100 75.0 3348. 74.8 60318 11667.3 8.|-- gw1.sin1.sg.linode.com (61.14.147.177) 44.0% 100 235.3 4947. 175.3 76118 16204.3 9.|-- 139.162.0.2 40.0% 100 236.0 1341. 175.4 7905. 2337.4 10.|-- gw2.sin1.sg.linode.com (61.14.147.179) 34.0% 100 182.2 2056. 175.1 18249 3230.2 11.|-- sg.kano.is (139.162.5.112) 18.6% 97 182.2 1655. 175.2 7952. 2327.4
Edit: that was 21:19 UTC Edit2: though that MTR also suggests that even people in USA were having problems - thus why the pool dropped to around 20PH both times Edit3: and there is a UDP DDoS going on as well - I guess that is actually what's causing the problem - but the server DDoS mitigation is simply cutting in when it gets too high and blocking miners also - but it's not enough to affect the pool at the moment (I always drop ALL UDP packets to the pool)

Your email server is flagging email from the pool as spam and wont accept it. No idea why your email provider is doing that, but of course that means I can't email you from the pool to tell you to fix it and also means that if anyone else changes your account, the notifications wont get to you. I don't want the pool flagged as a spam source by any email servers, so I've completely blocked email to your email server. Since I'm stuck with not being able to contact, if this happens, I stop the account from mining.

Woke up to no blocks and 11 hours since our last block I've gotten so spoiled this week. However, we had a great 7 block Friday yesterday and that put the whole stat board over 100% (not really important, but a fun goal). Anyway, no worries here - Mine on!

I run a small commercial e-mail server, and know the issue. I have a dedicated IP, but back in the Mesozoic sometime some moron used that IP to spam. Now ATT and another minor block list still have that IP, and despite repeated requests to get off the dime and clear it, it's still blocked to those domains. I have to advise my clients of such, and have them personally slam ATT to get it lifted. That worked once.

This email is my internet provider pop. I have other emails so I changed it, it's the simplest than contacting provider. All this is the fault of these damned pirates....

No, the outgoing mail server from the pool is Amazon AWS and has been for 6 months. You can't just grab an IP address and start sending email coz all sorts of places will block you. The fact it's been OK for 6 months - means that any email block it gets are the problem of where I'm sending email, not me. I also do check certain reputable 'large blacklist' sites and it's not on any of them. I have a few of these, that I use for outgoing email for various sources, coz with AWS you can tell Amazon it's a mail server and they'll treat it as such, and the IP addresses aren't going to be in any blacklist subnet IP ranges. No I don't send spam, ever. Yes the pool sends you an email every time you make certain changes to your account. I see the email problems each time I process payouts (once or twice a day) and either PM me when you've change the email, or wait 'til I process the next payout and I'll unlock your mining. Edit: oh and there was a 2nd block 1.5 hours ago also, by 1GT2C... Edit2: well, I don't see problems every day, probably about once a month ... but I'll see any problem within a day This is the first time in a VERY long time the problem has changed from greylisted to blocked. A lot of mail servers will greylist you when they see you for the first time but accept it soon after.

I do it through a hosting contractor. What I was trying to say was the same as you just said. The problem's on his end, not yours.
