Edit: Is there a chart of SUM(bid)/SUM(ask) and the actual price in one chart? I mean people will use everything to get people bullish or bearish so even this will be manipulated but it would be nice to see how good an indicator it was in the past.

Someone trying to force the price down? To what end? Same as usual, probably to buy more cheaper before it goes up. There was a triangle that appeared to be forming, but this person seemed to want to put a stop to any chance of that breaking to the upside. |

Someone trying to force the price down? To what end? I don't think that is the intent just to get individuals to sell under a certain price so when the price does appreciate[which seems likely] they will have even more BTC to manipulate the market whether bear or bull. |
