@yeponlyone
Do you not think it is somewhat inappropriate for you to be promoting a cloud mining scam in your avatar when you are posting in a thread dedicated to raising awareness of these scams?
Hmm... Are you referring to Cloudthink or Coinomat? I honestly have not checked those out by myself, or here, which obviously is a big mistake by me. Cloudthink, it is the only 'cloud mining' scheme of the two. Coinomat is a crypto<>fiat exchange. Thanks, I will remove it. Or do something equivalent to your sig To my tiny (non-existent?) defense, I'd like to add they aren't on Puppet's list, and it is the guide for me. I just remembered that I removed that avatar, as cryptodevil pointed out, and hope I'm accepted (hehe) in the thread again

I am the owner of https://paycoin.asia. what you guys think about https://paycoin.asia ? I do not promise high profit. On my site you can see proof of money spent to buy mining- or staking power. No hidden identity. In case i miss something or you have doubt in my service. What would you advice me to add on my site https://paycoin.asia to give you as customer more confident in my service? Let me know, info@paycoin.asiaRegards, Paycoin.asia Is this some sort of joke? I mean I had to force myself to look beyond "Paycoin" but then seeing that PaycoinAsia is based in the Netherlands... I mean is this a joke?

So I just came across this site that ripped me off for about 15 USD in paypal over a year ago. Not sure why i never did a chargeback, I must have forgot about it once I quit using paypal to be honest. http://www.hashasaurus.com/shop/miningcontracts.phpAnyhow, I would obviously steer clear, not sure if anyone else has any info about them, but I didn't find anything on here about them except for some stuff over in the altcoin/s*itcoin sections.

It doesn't look like it's "cloud mining" (in the context of this thread). It's a remote control interface for your mining hardware, which they confusingly decided to call "cloud mining".

https://www.btcminer.coi guess that is most likely legit, they mentioned that they will plug their mining to your pools, but i am thinking about the fees problems: they said no electric fees are required.

out of ability to use the signature, i want a new ban strike policy that will fade the strike after 90~120 days of the ban and not to be traced back, like google | email me for anything urgent, message will possibly not be instantly responded i am not really active for some reason

They're charging a monthly fee, so apparently the electric costs are included. But I still wouldn't touch them, the pricing doesn't make sense and the risk is still the same as with any cloud mining.

It does look a little sketchy but it's an interesting approach to cloud mining if it's indeed legit. Nice to see a place that allows users to point their hashpower to whatever pool they want to. At least then you know there's actual hardware mining for you, but obviously that could stop at any time if they decide to shut down, and run off with their hardware and user's funds. I also took a look at their contact page - it's interesting that the business is run out of Australia because power costs are quite high there (it looks like on average power costs about $0.29 / kWhr) and the address they have posted on their website is a residential address, not a storefront or anything like that. Seems a little odd that they're based out of a country with high power prices rather than one with cheaper power costs.

Which introduces yet another third party risk vector.

That's very possible, but it doesn't mention anywhere on their site that their miners are run outside of Australia. It sounds like the whole operation is based in Australia. We'll have to wait awhile to see if any news comes out of this operation, because I definitely have a couple questions about it.

So I'm stupid enough to cloudmining... I have investments in Hashnest (most) and Bit-X; also a tiny bit in zeushash (which I bought without knowing better but seems to be ROI any day now. I feel comfortable with Hash and Bit, but perhaps not putting in even more money. Diversify, might be good What site do you guys recommend for my new investment? No ponzi and not only life-time contracts. Thanks!

What if you pick a shit pool and the mining doesn't cover the fees? Why would an operator want to assume that risk?

You can buy/sell through an orderbook too. The first round completed earlier this year and was a good investment; 2nd round is in process now.
