I think bitcoin will not die anytime soon ..
There are still many users who trust bitcoin as an investment or stock trading.
I predict the age of bitcoin is still long, either 3 or 5 years into the future.
If anyone states a bitcoin will die, this is a wrong statement because for now bitcoin has recovered by showing a positive value.

I am amazed to see such kind of things. I can hardly find any reason to support this argument that Bitcoin is dead. In fact, this is just the start of era of Bitcoin and other digital currencies. We are going to see a very bright future of all the crypto currencies in the coming days. We only need to believe in Bitcoin for our better tomorrow.

No.  Bitcoin is growing and getting more important.
It's not just bitcoin.  The issue is that the global banking and payments system is fundamentally broken.  Bitcoin is merely one part of general set of financial technologies that will reshape the banking system.
People focus so much on what the price of bitcoin is that they don't look at *how* bitcoin is traded.  Bitcoin is quite interesting because it is the first asset whose trading/exchange infrastructure was created from a clean sheet, and so you have things like 24/7 trading, multiple exchanges, and direct trading with counterparties, that are going to eventually be used to trade everything else.

short answer no and you see now how bitcoin be high power and prices go more than 3000$
I liked your short and crisp answer. I think there is no point of getting into this discussion that Bitcoin is dead or anything like that. In fact, the way Bitcoin is making its name and reputation in the international market, I am very much confident that Bitcoin holds a very bright future for all of us.

Meanwhile the real economy is firing on all cylinders, stock markets are at all time highs, corporate earnings are higher than ever, unemployment is low, etc. Even amid the boom, no one cares about bitcoin any more.

I disagree massively with this part.  Stock markets are high, agreed.  This is due to stock buybacks and huge bubble P/E ratios, not fundamentals though.  Unemployment as paid by the state is low, I agree.  But the participation level is very very low, almost the same as in the trough of the recession in 2008.  People may not care about Bitcoin, but do you seriously not think that there will be an "internet money" in the future, so that you can pay for anything, anywhere without having to convert?  I think there will be, and I am essentiall betting that it will be Bitcoin.

Yes I agree to the argument. And how can you say that no one cares about Bitcoin where in fact you are actually here in forrum checking out Bitcoin.

And to add to the disagreement of sir, Bitcoin is actually booming and at the point of being popular because it is reaching a peak price from the past 5 years. And yes it may be going down in the past days, but I believe that the demand and popularity of Bitcoin will continue to boom in the long run.

If you think that bitcoin is dead there is a problem with you. You must know that bitcoin is unstable it is not like gold that holds it value. Bitcoin can rise and go down.
You had the moment of buying bitcoin when it was at a price of 3200 dollars you could now sell them, because bitcoin is now high.

For bitcoin die we would need a lot heavy measures from countries and people stop using it and trading it, something i doubt can happen, countries can force and try to use force to block and stop acess to bitcoin, but i doubt all people will allow them to take control of their lifes again, crypto represents freedom, financial freedom and no one should be able to say what you can or cant do with your money.

It's been 2 years since the topic was created, but bitcoin has not died, but is still alive and developing very well, bringing good profits to its owners. You just have to believe in it.

I can see so many people have made so many predictions regarding the death of bitcoin till date and it is funny some people still do not believe that bitcoin is here to stay yet. However, we are here now gallantly and successfully thriving through all the storms that has been coming our way and most definitely, keep up with that until we are so laid. I do not see bitcoin dieing anyway and just like any currency comes with its own challenge but with the great innovation and support surrounding it, the moon is just a starting point.

Bro, this subject is gonna be actual after 2 years as well Grin
I guess we should not only believe but invest to Bitcoin too. Furthermore IMF chief said "Not so long ago, some experts argued that personal computers would never be adopted, and that tablets would only be used as expensive coffee trays, so I think it may not be wise to dismiss virtual currencies"  Wink

Bitcoin is not dead. Even if it drastically drops, it doesn't mean that it will be dead. Bitcoin recovers it price after how many weeks or months. When the price drops, most of the people who uses bitcoin keeps on supporting it, so how come it is dead? As long as there is still strong demand and supply, bitcoin will never be dead.

more than 20 years in the future, I can ensure that bitcoin will still be there since the technology of bitcoin is very useful and it can make the world better. So, if you want to be rich in the future, try to buy as much bitcoin as you can Wink

I think it is.

Bitcoin use adoption has stalled. Media interest has dissipated. Prices have only slowly continued to decline for a long time now. Bitcoin securities have always been and still are a complete mess, with a near 100% failure (scam/fraud/incompetence/etc) rate. Mining has been concentrated in the hands of a few giant players, eliminating much of the advantage/security/democracy of thousands of individuals being the money processors. Alternative forms of online payment with US dollars (and other fiat currencies) are now cheaper, faster, and more secure than bitcoin (and of course far more usable to buy/sell real goods/services), eliminating any of its advantages as a payment system. Continued decline of bitcoin and strength in fiat currencies has put the lie to the idea of bitcoin as a store of value; there are far better more reliable hedges against inflation. Meanwhile the real economy is firing on all cylinders, stock markets are at all time highs, corporate earnings are higher than ever, unemployment is low, etc. Even amid the boom, no one cares about bitcoin any more. Bitcoin was a fad that lasted a few years, and is now on its way to being forgotten.

Thoughts? Anyone seriously disagree with this conclusion?
Even after China banned Ico and bitcoin exchanges so many people are still investing into bitcoin because of the fact that it's increasing in value. If bitcoin dies alt coins would also follow and that's not possible as such.

.
This is the power of decentralization, everything is not easy to be banned, the main key is the user because this is proof that bitcoin users are loyal and always buy bitcoin so the price will not be affected.

Bitcoin will not become dead because there is no sense for staying at this forum and talking to other people's thread if bitcoin is dead because instead of talking to other bitcoin user, i will use my time for posting different things in social medias that will help me to express my feelings if bitcoin is dead. Bitcoin is alive and it will not become dead just because of the issue a few months ago.
I utterly agree with you in this regard that bitcoin are damn active and live these days. There is no pint of calling them dead in any way.

Bitcoin are rather becoming popular among people of all ages day by day. I don’t think so there is any chance of bitcoin disappearing in the coming score or even in this century. They have not blossomed at peak yet.

Bitcoin rises from the ashes again, despite all the negative feedbacks from critics and speculators about its instablity and trust loss in bitcoin community.
