This:

English translation of slides from https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=246253

3.4BTC * 400,000 = 1360,000BTC
> 0.136 billion USD

Q: How much hashing power does Bitfountain plan to deploy within this year?
Friedcat: 800-1000T within this year.

Q: What are the specs of the second batch? When will the mass production begin?
Friedcat: The exact numbers will only be known when the chips are out of fab, currently we only have simulated results. Mass production will be in October the earliest.

Q: What would be the physical address of the offshore company be to registered?
Friedcat: It will be on an island where financial freedom is more possible to achieve.

Q: Do you have plans for future other than mining and selling hardware?
Friedcat: ASICMINER's business is confined within mining and selling mining hardware. We might do some
periphery work, but that won't be too distant.

Q: What kind of investors or business partners are you keeping in touch with?
Friedcat: We currently don't accept external funds, so there is no private investors. The partners we keep in touch with are mostly tech related.

Q: After the batch shipping from Avalon and BFL, how would the manufacturers in Shenzhen compete with them?
Friedcat: Our advantage to manufacture chips at the cost price is invincible.

Q: Are you hiring? What kind of people do you need?
Friedcat: We need people specialized in analog electronics, but we don't put much hope in finding this kind of people within China.

Q: Any plans or strategies that are suitable for the public to know?
Friedcat: We will be focusing more on the area that we have the most advantage in. It depends on whether we have more advantage in chip design or the ability to deployment fast.

Q: Why the hashing power of AM is not stable?
Friedcat: The variance of solo mining itself is relatively huge. And the whole network is being DDOS'ed lately, the 0.8.3 version of the software has fixed some bugs so as to prevent DDOS.

Today was crazy, but it still doesn't look like anyone wants to breach that 4.00 mark at this time.
If divs are big, another rise is probably more likely than a cool down. several big dividends in a row will send it up for sure.

we're 36 shares away from 4 right now. I suspect it will pass that mark tonight or in the morning.

Probably most of you don't agree, But this actually making me a bit sad I am a long term investor and crashes and low prices are a good thing so I could get more shares. This way I would have just to lurk and yawn.

I am a long term div guy  Cool

Will take me a while to climb up again, But where is a will, there is a way...

I also made a "mistake" trying to diversify and sold some AM shares to pick up a some AMC. Luckily I got most out of AMC at nearly no loss, but I missed a .6 per share gain on AM. :-/ AMC just might be legit, but once I realized AMC and VMC were owned separately and the IPO price can be changed as people buy in, I got out.

Lurk yawn profit repeat lol

I think I would buy AMC at a firesale price then see if it goes back up at the next news time and run when it goes up lol but AM for the long-run

Doubt it. Price should be volatile with USB stick miners temporarily out of stock. Then blades to be back in stock mid July to help hardware sales surge again!

"Me too," though I suffered a bit of a loss, in addition to the missed opportunity here. Same action, same realization, same smh.  It's a lesson. It could have been a LOT worse.

BTW I also sold 10 direct shares at 3.1, You have to remember this market is very volatile and generally "Profits that you 'could' have dipped into are not considered a 'loss'", so unless you sold for lower than your entry price (I am pointing the shares hat are bought for daytrading and not long term), You are okay.

Just looking at the pics & English text, a lot of it looks like it's specifically selling ASICMiner as an investment opportunity.

Should we expect new outside investors snapping up PTs by the boatload next week? Shocked

Dudes, current ask at btct is .................. ฿ 4.4

WTF?

I checked two hours ago and it was still 30 shares away from breaking 4.

That's what you get when (a) fireycat answers lots of questions positively and (b) you get media coverage.

Who's going to be the first to say "this is high enough", and start selling lots?  Grin
