Functionally speaking, DOGE is the best coin out there. 1 minute blocktimes, no need for annoying decimal places, bountiful supply, relatively stable, accepted by more and more retailers every day...

Funny -- none of this ever changed.

Dogecoin is one of the meme coins that has been neglected for years. In the past, Dogecoin was a shitcoin that investors weren't interested in, a few months ago some well-known investors raised Dogecoin again as the No. 1 altcoin in demand by traders and investors and it won't last long.

Dogecoin was and will always be a worthless cryptocurrency.

Oops... DOGE just passed Cardano again to reach #8 in the CMC rankings. Elon didn't get bored of it, said he's working on integrating it into Twitter, which could prompt other businesses to follow suit. Pretty far from dead if you ask me.

Mainly just bumping this to see how many people respond to it like it was written yesterday  Cheesy

Dogecoin is just a meme coin if that's what you meant but when it comes to profit making they can come from any angle, people make money from coins that aren't that useful too, it doesn't matter Dogecoin just got some community love is all and moreover it's very easy to use Dogecoin for transactions, it's fast and cheap

Seems this thread didn't aged well and it was Just brought back up. Reading through and this comment caught my attention. I believe cryptocurency is very young so alot of money can be made now but we just don't have to be closed minded. This generation doesn't care about what a company is doing but just want to make money so they can live expensive lifestyle and whatever can give that money, that they'll go to which is why we see projects like dogecoin and other meme coins doing so well even more than the other project that are said to have strong fundamentals.
Dogecoin is never a bad investment, if you observe how the narrative are changing you'll realized that dogecoin is a more better investment than other projects. Dogecoin has wealthier individuals backing it and they all want to see it succeed so it's best to invest where the wealthy individuals are investing.

Doge coin is probably the first meme coin in the crypto space and surprisingly have been among the first 100 or even 50 coins on CMC. It is all about choice. Humans are built to be emotional to some extent. I think Doge coin is a way of expression. Though Doge coin is built without utility, it is one of the early meme coins that have the likely hood to attract people who are not technically savvy into the crypto space. When you send someone Doge coins, I think, it expresses some human emotion. So, IMO, Doge coin is not bad, rather it is also playing its own role in the crypto space. With the Elon Musk interest in Doge coin, those holding Doge coins might gain from the increase in value, when there is hype/tweet about the coin. Most of us in the crypto space look out for opportunities to make money, that is the truth. Doge coin may be one of the opportunities.

For some reason, Mr. Musk is keeping people in suspense. He keeps announcing that he's working on integrating DOGE into Twitter, without providing concrete results of the same. I don't really think he will do it especially when regulators are getting aggressive towards anything crypto-related. Even if DOGE gets added into Twitter, the chances of it becoming a valuable cryptocurrency in the future are pretty slim. When developers decide to limit DOGE's supply, then things will improve for the better. Otherwise, not.

You can't expect much from a cryptocurrency that was created as a joke, anyways. I'd prefer Cardano, Ethereum, or even Litecoin which are better alternatives to Dogecoin. The first two are constantly being developed and maintained by the community, with new features being added every once in a while. Dogecoin's development progress is practically stalled, as developers have no intentions of making it a cryptocurrency for serious use worldwide. While Dogecoin may last for generations (due to being an old cryptocurrency that has managed to survive up to this point), its value would remain relatively the same over the years. At least, the Blockchain is healthy. As long as DOGE stays decentralized, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts Grin

A lot of money can still be made and now is the best time for us to do it because the market is crashing like crazy. In cryptos, we have old coins such as btc, ltc and xrp and many of them already pumped up so maybe the potential for them to pump more can now be slimmer and this is why many are trying their luck in newer coins thinking those coins can be the next btc or can be the next top coins. We only need to be careful investing on them.

We are still planning it but the developers of those coins are more ahead of us. They won't let it happen but they will need to be rich first before the greedy investors do. Dogecoin is not a bad investment only for short term. You just need to time'd your moves so that you can enter and exit successfully.
