something like this maybe? (the lower line touches perfectly with the $340 bottom 11th of april)

I really feel like we don't have to wait much longer for some major action

 Huh

Better option:

What does the Wow! signal have to do with bitcoin? Lol.

Dont you guys owe me an apology???

In all seriousness, unless some new asks start coming up, this drop is as unconvincing as the rise.

Derp, you never told me where you got that ratio data from.

Oh, sorry. Most data can be found quite easily here: http://coinorama.net/

Best website IMO for a quick check of the conditions.

P.S. Bid/Ask Sums only goes back a few months, but the ratio goes back quite a bit farther. Not totally sure why.

Looks like some people really want to get burned. This wont materialize.

Am I really crazy?

Impressive.. still, unconvinced.

And I'll say it again: I haven't done anything but buy after I made a mistake April of last year. I just enjoy making predictions.
1007  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 08, 2014, 04:38:49 PM
Meanwhile it's 7.5k BTC on stamp to even get to $500.

Heavy ask side usually means we're going up and vice versa

Nope. That only applies if the direction of movement is where the walls are.

E.g. if the price is dropping and there are bidwalls, this is normal.

If the price is dropping and there are ask walls... That is very bad.

Plus, that's not a predictor of any sort.

Ask sum on Bitstamp is at a record high, bidsum approaching record low.

Here's the BA Ratio versus price at that time:

Current Bid/Ask ratio: 0.600 - $470
Record low Bid/Ask ratio: 0.477 - $117
Record high Bid/Ask ratio: 2.502 - $885

**Within 1 year

Date of the 0.477 - $117??

Take from that what you wish.

To me, it seems like people just refuse to sell but still everybody is looking for a chance to get as cheap coins as possible

And as we all know, this is the kind of thing we need to fuel a nice fucking bubble!

I'm not losing hope just yet Wink

No, this is how you get capitulation.
1012  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 08, 2014, 01:28:51 AM
I'm afraid to sleep and lose the late weekend dump Sad

Lose what? The chance to sell or the chance to buy?

If chance to sell: Sell now, too risky to hodl
If chance to buy: Wait
1013  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 08, 2014, 01:24:46 AM
Fucking shit...

Who are these stupid fucking dumpers??

The ones who know $300 comes before any sort of rise! Come on aboard ye' Pride of the Dumpers, there still be room for more. Sell yer coins! Rough seas b ahead!

So, for anyone interested in that bot..

HR X: Rounded BTC bought/sold
Hr A: +15BTC
Hr B: +12BTC
Hr C:  -78BTC

Related: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xoMgnJDXd3k

I originally thought this bot may be snatching up coins for the guy with the ask walls, but the fact it sells and buys (And sells... for less than it pays, at least a lot of the time) would say that is not true.

At Stamp?

Correct.

The dumps continue. It was prophesied!

this buy bot is doing it wrong...

edit : maybe not  Grin

Turns out it both buys and sells. It just dumped about 100BTC in about 100 .9BTC sells. So, nevermind, this bot is just odd..
1017  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 07, 2014, 11:15:57 PM
That buy bot is very confusing. I'mma try to get a guestimate of how much its buying/hr, but.. it seems to go on and off and buy very sporadically.

A very early result is about 15BTC/hr. Still, if it runs a whole 24 hours like that.. its enough to fill a manipulators coffers back up. pretty quickly.
1018  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 06, 2014, 09:54:42 PM
This is the third major wall on bit stamp alone in ~10 days, totaling about 7000btc.

Include bitfenix and its more than double that.

Yet we still have people saying moon.

Walls can be created and removed at any time. I see that happening real time when we broke the 480.

BTW: how low will be the weekend dump this time?
So far, they're all being sold.

They're depleting the fiat reserves of cautious buyers and bulls with minimal slippage.

If it continues for another 10 days, expect the price to totally collapse.

How it is related to BTC?

It is about traditional digital payments, using credit cards and stuff.

I thought it would be Apple developing their own crypto or something

Someone should make a flowchart of things that trigger panic sells.

-Is it about Bitcoin? Yes/No
+No: Is it about moneys? Yes/No
+Yes: Is it skary? Yes/no
+No: Does the article mention furry creatures? Yes/no
+No: SELL!

You need to be one with the bears, my friend.
