1001  Economy / Speculation / Re: CAN BITCOIN CROSS $10K BY DECEMBER? on: November 18, 2017, 03:32:32 AM
I'm not an expert, but I don't think Bitcoin can cross the $10.000 milestone by the end of December. We still need to see a $2400 increasement or so in price, what is a lot and even when everyone was buying Bitcoins because HardFork the price didn't increase so much and so fast like this. I believe Bitcoin can reach to $8500 or almost $9000... Price goes up and down a lot during the day, delaying the progress on short term.
1002  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment at a time like this on: November 18, 2017, 02:00:09 AM
Sometimes greed just bothers your progress. The attemp to maximize the profit can turn the situation worse and make you lose money, so why don't just hold Bitcoins and wait until you are able to sell it and make profit? Why to risk your money with trading (especially if you don't have experience), gambling or Ponzies/HYIPs? Surely there are some good methods to increase your profit, but it's not a lot, examples are FreeBitco.in investment and casino bankroll (risky anyway on short term).
1003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need some gambling strategies on: November 17, 2017, 03:58:09 AM
My prefered gambling sites are dice and video poker (for Texas Hold'em, I have own strategies  Grin )
Maybe you have some nice strategies against boring with little maths.

The question is, do you have enough capital to gamble? If yes, the method that I am going to teach you is the amount you should bet on. For example, you betted $2 and you lost. In the next round, you should bet $4 and if you lost again bet $8 and so on. In this way, you can regain your losses faster and easier but the only hindrance to this is you need a large capital for it.

Personally, even if people share their tips and methods for gambling, if the odds are really against you then you have no escape in the gambling industry. Instead of learning tips on how to win, you should invest your money or use it on a different purpose instead of risking it. Even if you are the "Master Gambler" in the gambling world, you are still playing with risks and there is no guarantee that you will win. Only bet the money that you are wiling to lose and you should know when to stop.

No, man.
Don't tell him this.
You can only win long term if you have an infinite bank, not a large bank!
Eventually you're bound to hit a losing streak, you're chasing 2$ profits but each loss doubles your bet and quickly gets to tens of thousands of $.
Martingale is the devil itself, it will chew you up and spit you out.
*longterm*

Even with infinite bankroll it's not possible to win on long term... The casinos have maximum bet that makes impossible to apply Martingale perfectly. The house edge + maximum bet is the perfect combination to make the house win on long term at any circumstance. The strategies work to increase our gameplay time until the loss streak comes, without strategy it would be much worse to play, we would lose everything really fast.
1004  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legitimate or illegal? on: November 17, 2017, 02:05:44 AM
Do you know that the existence of Bitcoin has increased crime in some countries in the world? This problem is thrown by the Metropolitan Police of Europe and the United Kingdom. According to them, Bitcoin has played a huge role in their community's growing guilt. They also think that Bitcoin is involved for cybercrime, but how does Bitcoin increase crime work? Why is it being considered illegal in the country?

It is still legal in a sense that only some has the plan to do something about it. Bitcoin is still growing and of course not only for the good but also for the side of the bad/evil. Complete anonymous transaction and great security with a very efficient and reliable system. Bitcoin has all it takes to offer a great deal for criminals to do trades without cops and government being aware of. It will eventually lead to criminal acts rising behind the scenes and of course government will not turn their back on it. They want to ban bitcoin to maintain order and to reduce the flaws for their country.

These crimes happen anyway, if they don't use Bitcoin they use other currency, what is the difference? Bitcoin isn't 100% anonymous, criminals can be tracked and found even if using Crypto-Currency. News like that are just spread to decrease Bitcoin power and adoption around the world, to make people believe if they use Bitcoin they are supporters of shady activities. It's impossible to reduce criminality just by banning Bitcoin and other Crypto-Currencies.
1005  Economy / Economics / Re: How Eco friendly is our money and is there an alternative? on: November 17, 2017, 01:35:25 AM
Bitcoin is the future's money and in the future we will have more renewable energy disponible. It surely consumes a lot of energy, but that is the price of decentralization at this moment. As technology advances we can have more powerful energy sources that don't harm the nature and at same time we can have more developed machines that don't consume so much electricity.

Ecology is important, but we can't stop the progress because of it, to say the truth, the ecology benefits itself when we have progress in the world (that can harm the ecosystem for some time or not).
1006  Economy / Speculation / Re: WHAT NEXT TO CRYPTO CURRENCY? on: November 16, 2017, 02:44:19 PM
It would be an extreme society that have lost all their values and empathy that we still have today (not that we have much of that today). The savage capitalism could lead us this way, the anarchy. So it's important to always balance our lives with economy and spiritualism, never choosing only one route that lead to the extremism, the balance is the key for the prosperity and for a ethical coexistence on a society.
1007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever gambled to escape worry, trouble, boredom, loneliness, grief or lose on: November 16, 2017, 01:56:01 PM
I used to gamble whenever i'm having troubles to sleep or when i'm on vacations at summer and i don't really have something to fill my day aside from video games . Breakups and emotional troubles make me take gambling as a last resort to comfort my self and eventually forget about everything that bugs me .
So it means that you have found gambling as a way to escape from your bad times.  I think that this is not the right way of supplication .you should instead opt for some other way such as getting yourself involved in some serious activity such as a job so that there is no time to think about the past and get yourself worried too much upon this mishaps. When I feel myself bored I usually prefer to go on vacation trip along with my family and do not gamble because it would actually make the things worst.

Depending how you are emotionally affected it's surely better to don't gamble. But some people are very used to stay alone and to pass several days without contact with other people and it doesn't mean they are affected negatively because the loneliness. They can have an organized life, knowing their limits in gambling and being a responsible person. I believe gambling can be a good activity for lonely people if they are able to control their mind.
1008  Economy / Marketplace / Re: foodsuplements for btc? on: November 16, 2017, 03:31:39 AM
I don't know if this kind of public is adopter of Bitcoin. But if you offer a nice price, cheaper than the price they usually buy for fiat it could be a great idea. Also, on this kind of business there are some suplements that aren't legal everywhere, but people are always looking for them and if Bitcoin is their only alternative they will do it, maybe it's already a reality at some places. Anyway, I don't suggest you dealing with illegal suplements because it's very harmful to users...
1009  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legal bitcoin or illegal bitcoin on: November 16, 2017, 02:57:12 AM
Well, depending where you live and how Bitcoin's progress walks the laws can surely say to have a Bitcoin is the same than having marijuana on your pocket... But the law can even say that to have candies on your pocket is the same than marijuana... And we know it's ridiculous. And I would say it's ridiculous too to treat Bitcoin like drugs, but it can happen if your country's command wish.

The important is to have the conscience about what is right and what is wrong by yourself and not just because a random law say it to you.
1010  Economy / Securities / Re: Suggest me your opinion on: November 16, 2017, 02:27:52 AM
To maximize my profits on long term I like to invest Bitcoins. With AltCoins you can surely make profit, but you don't enjoy the high positive volatility of the currency like Bitcoin.

It's always a good time to invest, just make sure to choose a legit investment. At this moment the best one in my opinion is casino bankroll, you can suffer losses at the beginning, but on long term you make profit. If you want more suggestions about other investments wait for more replies and choose that one you think it's better for you.
1011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Relationships! on: November 16, 2017, 01:19:34 AM
I  think a couple gamblers are more vulnerable to addiction. Why? Because none of them reminded to stop. If the gambler couple is addicted then it is very dangerous. But if both can control themselves and not addicted, it would be more fun.
Yeah couple are prone to being addicted specially if both of them are having fun when they gamble. I've seen a lot of couple who got addicted with poker both enjoying the game and also their other vices.
Not only that but people that are addicted are most of the time addicted to several stuff, I have seen addicted gamblers that are also addicted to alcohol when you mix both of those addictions you get a human being that is basically a mess and that cannot control himself.

When things get out of control like this it's time to stop gambling and drinking or in some cases the relationship... Because most of times these people are together because teh addiction, they incentive each other to make mistakes and if this relation finishes the addiction can finish too or decrease the intensity (what would be the first step to start working the addiction until it finishes). But we can't generalize, many people have fun together gambling, drinking and aren't a problem.
1012  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC as a national currency? on: November 16, 2017, 01:06:17 AM
It would absolutely not surprise me that some poor - or less poor country - with a liberal economy, like an offshore country, in seek for gaining a spot in the lucrative offshore world would use Bitcoin as a national currency and would become the haven for crypto-currencies. If I remember correctly, Gibraltar is trying to do it at the moment.

If the country has nothing to lose it can be possible, but I think it's more probable these countries still use Bitcoin as an alternative currency or investment, especially to attract foreigner's businesses to their country. I think that is what Gibraltar is planning to do at this moment. They are flexible and business friendly, what makes several investors from rich countries have interest on their places.
1013  Economy / Speculation / Re: And We Are Back In The Game! on: November 16, 2017, 12:34:15 AM
I believe Bitcoin is back to the game. People enjoyed the opportunity to make profit with Bitcoin Cash, but now they are coming back to Bitcoin pumping it and consequently dumping Bitcoin Cash. For some time I was worried about Bitcoin Cash and some statements from Crypto enthusiasts about it, but now I see that was just speculation and exhibitionism. Long life to Bitcoin!
1014  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: my faucet lauched now 😍😍😍😍 on: November 15, 2017, 02:36:41 PM
Got 9 satoshis. I think it doesn't worth to view a short-link to claim only these few satoshis. If it's not worthing for you as faucet owner, try increasing the countdown time, but increase the reward as well to make this faucet interesting for more users, or they won't claim...
1015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there such demand for Bitcoin? on: November 15, 2017, 02:19:30 PM
Because Bitcoin turned into a very profitable investment (maybe the most profitable investment in the world accessible for anyone), because is looking for new ways to make online purchases and have seen the potential of the digital currency and many other personal reasons, but the mainly one is the fact Bitcoin is very profitable and people want to grow their money fast.

Since Bitcoin was created some people have already became rich or millionaires just by holding it. The easiest big money they made on their lifes, it's like winning on the lottery and only few people were lucky (or deserved) to achieve this because they trusted on Bitcoin since its beginning. When people tell their success stories to others it makes everyone believe the same can happen to them, so the demand increases instantly and with "proof of work" it increases even more and faster.
1016  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best Time To Buy Bitcoin ! Buy Buy Bitcoin ! on: November 15, 2017, 02:00:53 PM
$7171 right now, is it still wise to buy Bitcoins in your opinion? How much do you think will be the next peak?
Price is increasing too fast as I can observe since this thread was created on a short time period that I'm not sure if I buy or sell.  Cheesy
The high volatility push Bitcoin up really fast, but the opposite can happen too...
1017  Economy / Economics / Re: Massive bitcoin manipulation possible? on: November 14, 2017, 04:13:58 AM
It's possible, but to make this manipulation possible they must be working together on the same purpose and I don't know if it works this way as each whale has their own interests and will try their best to make other whales lose to rule the market. However, some Crypto enthusiasts say it's not possible to happen... I don't understand why they say it anyway.

In my opinion a manipulation like that could ruin the currency, but as I observe these greedy people are more interested in killing Bitcoin than manipulating this.
1018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India may ban bitcoin in 2018 on: November 14, 2017, 02:56:39 AM
The executive director of the RBI didn't say Bitcoin will be banned from the country, I think the article's author wanted to give some polemic aspect to the quote. What was said is that Bitcoin won't be used for any payments and settlements, probably by the Reserve Bank, but not necessarily by the common citizens that may want to use it for their transactions. Bitcoin is strong in India, people there can stop an hypothetical ban if they want.
1019  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dividing your salary. on: November 14, 2017, 01:46:14 AM
You should save at least 10% and as much as possible from your salary for investments. Bitcoin is a great currency to invest in as it has so much more upside and is considered the currency of the future.
There is no way that we can deny this fact that bitcoin is indeed a great way of investing your money but the thing is you really need to have this much of money that you can afford buying of bitcoin. As far as dividing of salary is concerned, I used to divide my salary into three parts. First one, I keep for meeting my daily based needs. Second one for investing and third one as my saving for unseen conditions.

That is a good strategy, so you put approximatelly 33,3% of your salary in investments. If with investments you mean only Bitcoin it's a very nice "saving account" on long term or with some luck on short term too. I have seen people saying they became millionaire in 3 years (since 2014) just by saving their money in BTCs every month, that is a very good deal. To maximize your profit you could increase the investment percentage and decrease the "saving for unseen conditions" one.
