1021  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a Replacement for a College Savings Plan on: December 29, 2023, 09:25:07 PM
At this rate, I am seeing that now most corporate companies plan to remove the college degree requirement for jobs, which will transform the college education long term, and its looking like it won't even be needed unless you're going to be a PhD or a Lawyer etc etc.

The traditional mutual fund / 529 plan isn't really needed anymore if college isn't going to be a requirement, but now I am more so just thinking of a life savings plan is a much better and more flexible option. Maybe just set them each up a wallet and load x amount each making quarterly contributions. By the time they are old enough surely they would have more money in that account anyways compared to the mutual fund, right?

This sounds good, Apparently I also noticed that there are some corporate companies abroad that doesn't mind whether you have a bachelors degree or none, They only look about your experiences and skills. However, here in our country, they are strict when it comes to job description and requirements, Even those small time job like convenience store cashier needs a college degree diploma, funny right? That's why many people here wants to work outside this country because of poor job system. But for me, Having a degree is one if the most important thing to me and to my parents. We can cut those traditional mutual funds because you can save up for that, and you can earn when you invest some of your money in bitcoin because definitely by that time, the value of your investment will surely increase but that's a risky act, because we have no guarantee what will gonna happen in bitcoin by that time, So I think it's better for now to at least divide it in mutual funds and crypto investment, what do you think?
1022  Economy / Economics / Re: Setting up financial structures before going into the family way on: December 29, 2023, 09:03:55 PM
the main thing before marriage is to have an income. without income whatever is done about the motivation for financial management will not work.
because there is no money to manage, because there is no income at all.
parents must have given a good education from school to college. so then the matter of work and financial management must go alone because they are adults.
marriage is not about love, but marriage needs a life to feed his wife and children.
This is quite true and not at all wrong, because what I have experienced and have been living since I got married in early 2018 is a quite real fact that every person must have an income before entering marriage. Because the families of the bride and groom only provide a little help, the rest we have to do ourselves, even though their families are rich, but we still have to work on our own income. How to manage finances is actually not complicated if there is money to manage and everyone can immediately learn when they have full responsibility for their own household.

Here in our country, other people are kinda funny, getting married at an early age with no savings or anything like own house or property. So after the marriage, what happens is they are living in the parents' house, instead of living apart.
Sometimes they really not aware about family planning, so the ones who struggle the most and take responsibility are the parents. They are helpless because of course, it is their child who is asking for help and they cannot refuse.
1023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips to avoid compulsive thoughts related to anxiety on: December 29, 2023, 03:03:05 PM
I think that if a person has chronic anxiety or some other mental illnesses, they should be smart enough to stay away from gambling and any other triggers. That is only common sense. And there is a lot that they can do to keep themselves away from casinos, like informing friends and family to help them out, contacting any and all casinos and asking for a voluntary ban, finding a new hobby to distract themselves and so on... Anyone who really wants to keep away from triggering their mental condition, knows how to do that. The problem is convincing yourself that you might have to stay away for your own good. Usually we do not want to believe it ourselves... Whether out of pride or ego.

I agree with you, If a person has anxiety and other mental health issue, It's better for them to know everything they need to avoid, the things that may trigger their mind and decision making. It's difficult to control that's why there are some seminars and webinars offer to the target people so they will have any Idea and knowledge about their mental state. Sometimes, a person isn't aware that they have anxiety or depression, not unless they were clinically diagnosed, so regular mental health check up should be normalize nowadays
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 29, 2023, 08:38:21 AM
Immediately you get credited directly to your account that just you won.
I just smiled but I want to ask, how many of you guys develops interests on a particular casino platform due to the influence of the casinos streamers?

Casino streamers are influencers and they're been paid for what they say about any casino when they have large audience. When they have small audience, they would be doing the reviews for free therefore you can believe what they say about a casino and their type of review will be different from when they have grown to a larger audience and have started getting recognized. When they're recognized their review would be more of hypes then review of the casino.

Casino influencers don't move me but they have influence on many others individuals and that's why they're been hired to promote a new casino. Casino that are new without many users are those that hire the influencers more as they need to get their casino some exposure so they can begin to get customers. Casino streamer have alot of influence on the gambling industry.
They dont really care on what would happen into their viewers as long they are really that able to do their job then this what matter the most. Somehow as a viewer then its really that still up to you whether you would really be following them and gamble after that on which this is really that something that will really be that depending on you. You are the ones who would really be deciding to play and not to those influencers or streamers. Therefore, it is really just that your own mistake on what happen into you if you do tend to gamble just because you do believe that you could get on the same luck on that influencer on which you are really that watching. This is why it would be better that you should be mindful on the actions that you are taking.
True, the only thing that the influencers do online is influence or attract potential people to refer or gamblers to refer, as most of the streamers have something to advertise, and by advertising, if they can attract or refer other users, then it's a profit for them. That's why I don't watch streamers because, for me, it seems like it is easy to win in particular casino games, or they are giving false hope to other gamblers because they know they will benefit from their beautiful words of persuasion. That's why I don't support any streamers or influencers that promote casino games or specific casino games because I know they are doing that just for their own benefits.

Remember, every time other users use the platform or referral code that is being promoted by a streamer or influencer, you are making them money, and that's why they don't care what happens to the person that they influence, as long as they profit from it.

Exactly! I still watched them but I told to myself that I won't fall to their marketing strategy because that's true, they literally gaining profit because of their referrals and invites, not to the game itself. We don't know maybe they are using set up account that's why some of their streams are flashing more of winnings than losing. That's how their job works, to manipulate other person for their own benefits.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours is the best time for a gambler to last while gambling? on: December 29, 2023, 08:15:23 AM
This is a personal thing… what works for you may not work for me, and vice versa. For me 2 hours maybe much but then you may find it not enough time to even evaluate the games you want to gamble on. So discover it by taking note how long you spend on a normal, how long you want to cut it down to, etc. also, it’ll be great if you also decide maximum spend amount because it’ll work well if you combine it with maximum hours. I’m saying this because one can decide to gamble for a max of 1 hour but foolishly lose even more than someone who spends more time.

Yup, This is a personal thing that's why I think It really depends to a person, just like what you have said, what works for you may not work for me. Sometimes even if we give a suggestion to a person based on our personal experiences, they tend not to follow it because they have a different things or idea that they really want to follow but there's nothing wrong in giving an advice and opinions. For me, I used to follow my own schedule time that I've set in my planner wherein strictly 2 hours for gambling only in my free time with fixed allotted budget, no more time extension. I need to use that 2 hours whether I still have money or already exhausted.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Am I being restricted? Again? on: December 29, 2023, 08:00:28 AM
At first, I thought this just a bug on my account since I didn’t notice that I can’t place bet on certain table in Evolution Gaming until I found out that I have same problem on all of my casino account on same games.

I was winning consistently a profit ranging from 200$ to 1000$ multiple times a week and I rarely lose with only small amount. I decided to report this on Evolution Gaming but they are pointing out the casino itself while the casino support is giving me a basic tips on how to solve this which is not working. They are just passing me on each other without any clear solution.

FYI, I can play other evolution gaming games without any problem. Only certain table on Blackjack is not working which is the one I play frequently. I knew that the table has no problem because other players can play on it as shown on screenshot below.

PS: I’m not doing any trick because there’s no way card counting will work on evolution gaming table. It’s just pure luck and a little bit of strategy.

It's probably better to report or escalate this incident so that the issue can be resolved. You said that you don't do any other tricks to get restricted again and again so It's unfair if you're the only one experiencing such an issue while other players can bet well. Possible that there's a problem in your account when it comes in playing blackjack because as you have said, you were able to access other evolution games except that one, so might as well, send an escalation report for this kind of incident.
1027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: December 29, 2023, 07:29:24 AM
Over the time, I’ve seen several post, by users here who, claim that gambling is strictly for fun, even when one is making losses and I’ve paused to ask this question “Is there actually any fun in gambling especially when the losses are more than the winnings?”
Let’s be frank, there are several other things one can do for fun aside gambling and I understand that life it’s own is a risk but seeing claims that people see gambling as fun even when making losses is weird and I think it’s worth discussion as to know if truly people gamble strictly for fun without minding if they’re losing or winning

No, gambling is not strictly for fun but you can not separate the fun from gambling. When you say something is strictly, it means that it's only limited to what comes next. Every gambler is aware of the winning and losing money while gambling but to be able to see the fun aspect of it depends on what you feel about gambling entirely.

Losing is one particular thing that makes it to be fun after all. Imagine gambling without losing and see how boring and uninteresting it can be. The fun of gambling comes from the excitement and anticipation of winning despite that you can not always win but that experience of playing alone is a fun on it own.

No one actually wants to lose but it's not possible unless you stop playing but when you are too attached to winning without thinking about the opposite, then you can not see the fun in gambling. To enjoy the fun of it, just take a break when you are losing too much.

Partly yes for those gambler who see gambling as another way to generate income, we can't deny the fact that many of us are see gambling as another source of income which is somehow true as long as you know your motive why you enter the gambling world. to those who see gambling as part of their entertainment are for those filthy rich people who wants to spend their money just for fun and that's the reality, they don't care if they lose or not, the important thing for them is to be satisfied with what they are doing, that's how the rich people act, they are smart in handling money and they know how to allocate a proper budget for their vices.
1028  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Bingo Plus Discussion on: December 28, 2023, 02:03:15 PM

1029  Economy / Economics / Re: Why must you used such money to purchased a car? on: December 28, 2023, 01:41:08 PM
I’m pretty sure that this is a made up story since that 28M car from rolls royce is the most expensive car which this car company ever made. If your “friend” really can buy this car then I’m pretty sure he came from rich family which doesn’t need an advice from you.

Also if I can buy that kind of car without any problem then I don’t need to invest on Bitcoin because the business/salary that gives me the money for purchasing that luxurious car is already enough for me to sustain my financial needs.

You are comparing buying a luxurious car to Bitcoin investment while it’s obvious that only people that is financially stable can do this kind of stuff. This story will be believable if you use cheap cars instead a luxurious car specifically the top of the line for this well known brand.

Exactly, his friend came to a very rich family, imagine at the age of 20, He already have a car worth 28M?? That means he has a lot of money, and when it comes to investment, I don't think he will stuck on that mindset of purchasing luxury car rather than putting his money in some investment, for sure there are businesses coming from his family, maybe because right now he is still enjoying the things he gets but for sure he has his own plan in his life.
1030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Affiliate Program Problem on: December 28, 2023, 12:15:21 PM
If someone hasn't been able to make money from affiliate programs, whether gambling or something else, it's because he hasn't found the right way for him. Most people have to try many ways to find it, which takes a lot of time. And that's what makes many people give up going through the process.

They think working as an affiliate is easy because they only need to share the link. But it won't be that easy. They must be able to find the right place to promote their affiliate links. This is difficult because many people already use social media to spread their affiliate links. They must be able to compete with other people who may also use the site to promote.

Maybe you need to try a rotator site that will display advertisements for the site you are promoting for people to see. I've seen someone use it to promote multiple sites. But I don't know the results because I didn't pay much attention.

I agree with you, I have tried to enter the marketing affiliate world before and all I can say is that it is not as easy as what we see from other people, before you can make money here, you must first invest in the tools that you will use to affiliate and that includes hard work and advance knowledge about technology. Aside from that, you need to keep up with the trend in order to gain viewers, clients or consumers.
1031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: License: is it a guarantee? on: December 28, 2023, 11:37:11 AM
Almost every gamblers notably those that make use of online Casino's for their gambling have the notion that except from a license owned casino they don't use any  casino without a license, which I think is a cautious thing to do.

But have been wondering and wanting to ask, does a license guarantees that a casino won't scam it's customer's going forward.

For me, I think this is not a guarantee to think that we're safe, License is one of the requirements of a casino to our government to operates in a legal way, and that doesn't mean they won't fool us, Besides we don't know what their associates are doing behind the casino company. We all know that sometimes even those well known and legit gambling casinos still have problems like fraud and scams.

1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Know, But Can i Invest In Bitcoin? on: December 28, 2023, 11:11:18 AM
Hello everybody, how are you?

In this forum i am new and proud to be here as a member of this forum. Heard there is a lot of discussion about Bitcoin so I came to join here for my own needs. Hope you all will help me. I don't have a good idea about cryptocurrencies. I just know that investing in Bitcoin is extremely profitable. But I don't know how to do it. One of my acquaintance suggested me to invest some money in Bitcoin. I told him how many dollars to invest and he said as much as I am willing to invest. I made up my mind that I would invest $500 but i am confused. I don't know much about Bitcoin so the person gave me the link to this website and suggest me to know about the various opinions of users on various topics. Since I see that Bitcoin is always discussed , I want your suggestions about my Bitcoin investment.

Should I invest money with the suggestion of that guy? He told me that if I invest I will get good profit. He said, he will open my bitcoin wallet and help to buy bitcoins. Should I invest in bitcoin?

First of all, Welcome to this forum! for sure you will gain a lot of ideas here, all you have to do is to read and try to engage with other people here.
about that friend of yours who recommended you here on the forum and invest money in bitcoin, what he says is true that it is possible to make money if you invest here but maybe it is better that you at least have an idea about bitcoin before follow other peoples recommendation so in the end, no matter what happens or the consequences of what you did, you have no one else to blame, I'm not saying you should blame your friend if ever things happen but when it comes to investment, you have to make your own decision.

tingin ko eh malabong may mag avail or comply to that offer from the said country  and andaming nangangarap tumira sa magandang bansa at maayos ang ekonomiya.

1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does casino streamers have influence in your gambling life? on: December 28, 2023, 10:22:47 AM
Two things are considered on how and why you won your first stake which is either that you personally made the right prediction as usual to other times of your gambling or it is that you were considered to win on your first stake in order to get you pinned down and attracts you to a continues playing acknowledging the interest and influence of first approaches so don't get convinced that the guidelines of the streamer lead to your winning and so I advice you stay focused and resist being influenced my the influencers
We can refuse to be influenced by influencers because we decide where we will gamble and which casino we will choose. We are not dependent on the streamers because we are responsible for ourselves when gambling so we must be able to choose the casino well. So those of us who have learned many things so we can gamble responsibly will not be tempted by anything we see, whether on social media or other sites. We can see streamers sharing their videos and playing their favorite gambling games, but we have to take good care of ourselves and not be influenced by those videos.

Thats correct, We have the right to decline their offer no matter how big their claims, we need to be more meticulous when it comes to joining different type of online gambling, we need to do a lot of research first and and we shouldn't fall for what streamers promote, we also can't say that joining an online gambling is one of the ways to support the streamer because you might end up being the poor one.
1035  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the need to be known a requirement to qualify for a loan(s)? on: December 28, 2023, 09:54:55 AM
If you borrow from a bank, you don't need to know the bank official you're borrowing from in order for the loan to be disbursed.
But you need to have collateral. The item you pledge to borrow the money. e.g. a car, land, house with a certificate in your name.
If it's an online loan, all you need is your ID and a selfie with your ID, and a bank account to receive the money you borrowed.

Exactly! Every banks has a same and different requirements and it depends on how much you want to loan. Like what  you've said, bank will takes collateral in order for you to have a loan, they prefer car and properties, But if you want to have a quick loan without any requirements and collateral, you have to consider the cash advance option if you have a credit card, that's what I do when I needed cash.
1036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Was You Biggest Win in 2023? on: December 28, 2023, 08:00:24 AM
What's up ladies and gentlemen...

2023 will soon come to a wrap and doubt, it's been an awesome year for some of us, while I also understand it might as well been a bad year for some persons, but I am glad that finally, the year is coming to an end and we get the opportunity to try again and make 2024 a year we get to celebrate things, accomplishments and achievements we failed to celebrate this year.

So, the question is simple, in your gambling activities all through 2023, how much your biggest win?

And in loses as well, how much was your biggest loss?

Is it possible for you to calculate your cumulative wins and losses, and tell if 2023 was profitable or not; to you in terms of gambling?

Lets discuss..

I can't recall how much is my biggest win but all I know is that I didn't gamble much this year and I really just limited my gambling time.
I've learned from what happened last year where my savings almost ran out because I didn't control myself, I was too blinded by money. this year, I don't count how much I win or lose in gambling, as long as I have a budget for that and I need to be able to rotate that budget because I won't increase it in case I run out and lose. That has been my routine when it comes to gambling.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should mentally unstable people be allowed to gamble? on: December 28, 2023, 07:16:53 AM
~

I'm in favor too, for the safety of others especially if a person is a legit and clinically diagnosed with mental illness, But if a person is being judged because of physical appearance and there's a proof that this person didn't do anything bad inside the casino/gambling shop then It seems like it would be unfair to them if they were suddenly banned just because of a misjudgment and the way a person dressed. Maybe the best thing to do is to tell and talk to the person about the dress code or the casino themselves should make rules about this matter, not to suddenly ban the person from entering the shop because people think he is mentally unstable even though it has not been proven yet .

Sometimes what you see is the truth when it comes to a person's appearance and you really can't help it because you're either being humane but you will be removed from your job so that's how it's going to be sometimes. Sure the dress code would be a good idea but the problem is that if they're really mentally unstable and they're looking like that then you're putting yourself in danger.
Yet, it is unfair and inaccurate to judge someone only on the basis of how they look; it is as though we are assuming things about them or making views about them without knowing anything about their character, behavior, or their possible situations. As you mentioned, judging someone by their appearance can be cruel and could result in our removal from our jobs. One thing is that we have no proof of their actions in real life.
People who are great pretenders, like wolves in sheep's clothing, can sometimes deceive others. There are also those who experience a gambling addiction without showing any outward symptoms or attitudes connected to it. You never know, though they might have been more likely to cause trouble from the area and the bar person did not pay attention to them because he might have believed that they were mentally stable even though they are not.

Therefore, we must always keep in mind that it is more fair and kind to approach others with understanding and make an effort to comprehend their situations and experiences before throwing judgement.
People are naturally judgmental, its not really that a shocker.  Cool. When someone do really visit out on a casino venue then everyone is really that free on doing so. Dont mind others gestures or on how the way they look and behave because we do really have different appearances and on how we do deal up with things. It is really just that normal that there might be some noticing others appearances but judging out is never
been that ideal or something that would be good into consideration. How you would be able to know if someone isnt really that mentally stable? The way they do behave? The way that they do looks?
You are really just that too judgmental if you are really that something like this. You cant really just that make yourself to have that kind of behavior or something not really that recommended at all.

Dont make yourself that having kind of views into other people so easily. You would really be that getting that kind of negative impression towards other peoples eyes.
We dont like into those people who are really that easy to judge.
As I mentioned in my earlier responses, I'm just giving everyone additional advise to stop making snap judgments about individuals based just on how they seem. People are highly judgmental, as you mentioned, but we should train our minds to control it and set boundaries. Similar to gambling, it is impossible to determine whether someone is mentally ill. Regarding the original question, there isn't really a definitive response because people's mental stability varies greatly and it's difficult to determine whether someone is mentally unstable. You can't tell, for example, if a gambler with a mischievous smile on his face and constant laughter has stable mental stability or not. To be honest, from what I've seen, some mentally ill folks still want to gamble. Those with mental instability attempt to act normal in order to fool others. Still, people make excellent pretenders. Okay, that concludes it.

All opinions that have mentioned above has a valid point, seems like we have different perspective about this topic but yeah, being judgemental is like a thing nowadays and we can't deny the fact that sometimes we judge a everything we see in our minds and I thinks it's okay as long as you keep it to yourself and you can't offend others by your judgement. Please note that not everything we see physically is real, especially every person is good at hiding their Identity and true feelings.

1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any fun in losing while gambling on: December 27, 2023, 09:19:45 PM
If you are gambling for fun alone and not for profit, then it's possible that you can still have entertainment despite losing some. Although for sure disappointment will be felt along the way. But you can easily shrug it off because you don't mind about it so much unlike other people. It will just be a bonus and a reward if you will win. And of course, the joy will be unmeasurable if you will win in betting. Feeling ecstatic because of winning will hit different. After all, who wouldn't want to win if there's a chance right?

Gambling will be fun and satisfying if you got in because you just want to release your stress and achieve cheap dopamine by just betting and playing, regardless of the outcome.

we can't get rid of the feeling of being disappointments when we lose in something but if we look back, we had fun while doing it, it's just that we really expect something so when the thing we expect doesn't happen, it ends up in sadness, failures and self pity. Gambling is made for entertainment and one way of gaining profits, It has a double purpose to a person and It's up to you what will you prefer to prioritize? Gaining profit or having fun?
1039  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Gambling Affiliate Program Problem on: December 27, 2023, 01:20:15 PM
Hi Everyone,  Smiley

I have an online gambling related question. I don't know if this is the right place to post such a question, so I'm sorry if I posted in the incorrect forum.

I'm a Gambling Affiliate and something is bothering for some time. In most of the casino affiliate programs that I registered to, I can make a little amount of money or nothing at all. Did anybody encountered a similar problem?

Thanks,
Idan

Hi, about your problem, could you please elaborate your main problem here? It's that you, having small income amount in your affiliated gambling sites? If that's the case, do you even read the terms and conditions, as well as the percentage of your income per referral? Am i right? you will only earn a big amount if you also have many referrals who are invited but it depends to the negotiated price percentage offer by the casino sites. almost all gambling streamers make money in the same way, aside from the view counts of their videos that's why I understand the reason why they earn a lot..
