1061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Effectively Maximize Profits from Online Crypto Casinos on: June 22, 2022, 09:42:41 AM
Make sure you always cashout a portion of the winning by setting up an amount that you want to bet and what's over that , you will cash out and start over again. This way , you will have some protection if you get a bad hand or some bad hands in a row , you'll still have some profit already on the side. This is what I've used to do with whenever I have multiple winnings no matter what I play but always cashout some profits in that situation.

I know several players who act approximately according to this algorithm, but in the end it turns into a farce: after winning, they withdraw part of the funds and continue to play. If they lose (most of the time they do) they get the money back and keep playing on it. What this leads to, I think is obvious  Grin In general, the problem with gambling is that you will always lose. The only thing worth discussing is how to manage the gigantic jackpot-type winnings.
This was also my strategy as well as my friend on a gambling platform however it really still depends especially if you will still continue gambling after withdrawing your funds on the platform. I guess this strategy best works if you've won a huge amount of winnings or you're ending your gambling activity for the day since there's no point if you will continue gambling after your withdrawal on the platform.
1062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on transgender only events? on: June 22, 2022, 03:40:03 AM
I don't really understand why transgender women are trying to join sports competitions that are made for women. I mean, they have the physical body of a man that has been altered to be a woman however the difference in physical strength is a lot.

Anyways, yes, I would definitely bet on these kinds of events as it might be more fun to see them in action rather than on plain gender events. However, I don't think that there will be a huge market for these events as the only main difference is their gender but still, there's a chance that at least one sports event will have a good market for transgender people.
1063  Local / Pilipinas / Re: DOST naglunsad ng Blockchain Training Program -- on: June 21, 2022, 04:08:19 PM
More on blockchain developer ba? Cryptography?
May iba't ibang blockchain courses na available out there. May mga libre at merong may mga bayad which is worth it naman.

1064  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 21, 2022, 03:28:12 PM
They all have it in their TOS but some rarely use it. Both Betcoin and Nitrobetting have been around since 2013 and seem to only ask when someone is using a VPN. Most likely to prevent a person from using multiple accounts to collect bonuses.
so still not 100% certain that they will not ask for KYC for some reason. also, maybe there have been cases where they ask for KYC not just because the gambler used VPN and it was just not reported. anyway, it'll be up to OP if he considers your suggestion, I just pointed out that their KYC never mentioned that you have to use VPN in order to be asked for KYC.
Yes, using vpn is not a problem on gaming sites. But if they do not claim kyc for deposits and withdrawals then the service of the site can be enjoyed using vpn. But it should be noted that large amount cannot be deposited and if large amount is won, it should be withdrawn from there immediately for safety
Actually, it is a problem to the platform if they VPN user is from a restricted country where online gambling is illegal and prohibited. Some Gambling platforms may not require they're users to do the KYC process however they are obligated to do so once the platform require you too especially if they have detected suspicious activity on your account such as usage of VPN. But still if you're on an unrestricted country then you have no problem doing KYC as they'll let you off the hook and continue playing.
1065  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 21, 2022, 02:47:14 PM
Well how can you be sure. We are on the verge of a total market break down. Nobody's knows what is going to happen.

For crypto, real estate and even stocks. I try to hedge my assets but will make sure to not listen to others now.
Most of the market may be on a total breakdown however I don't see anything wrong on the crypto market for us to panic especially for long term holders.

Anyways, there's nothing wrong on hedging your assets to minimize your lose and it totally depends on your technical analysis and strategy on this kind market. However, I hope that you're not panicking on the current situation as nothing comes good when one is panicking.
1066  Local / Pilipinas / Re: DOST naglunsad ng Blockchain Training Program -- on: June 21, 2022, 01:25:53 PM
mapapasanaol ka na lang. Hehe.

1067  Local / Pilipinas / Re: DOST naglunsad ng Blockchain Training Program -- on: June 21, 2022, 10:25:53 AM

1069  Economy / Gambling / Re: risk of kyc on crypto casinos ? on: June 21, 2022, 01:18:13 AM
But if you are clean without any criminal behavior you should care less about kyc.

The problem is that the person will KYC in an anonymous casino and where the owners of the casino are anonymous and the person does not know where his document will be kept, and if one day the casino sells his documents and if a criminal buys the documents and commits some crime? I think this KYC question should only be used in serious cases where someone is suspected of having too many accounts and would be abusing bonuses. because someone's documents are something very sensitive and should be handled in a very responsible way
You might be too cautious on your data privacy when providing KYC documentation on a gambling platform. However you must also understand why the platform requested you to do it as there are rules and banning on certain countries that might get their platform on jeopardy. Just as you've mentioned, there are some platform that really doesn't require  KYC as long as you will not be subjected to suspicious activity such as huge bets, usage of VPN and other activities whereas you might have violate the platform's rule.

Also, I doubt that the platform will not be liable in case that you will be able to prove that they've used or sold your documents without your knowledge.
1070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bonus Abuse: Who is to Blame? on: June 17, 2022, 09:28:58 AM
I'm confused by the question, really. Clearly, the one to be blamed for abuse of any kind is... the abuser?

If you see a rise in financial fraud, is it also the fault of the finance industry that gets bigger? If you see a rise in shop theft, is it that shops are also to blame?

I understand for sure that sometimes there are external conditions like a bad economy and joblessness that can lead to overall hike in crime, or even longer term society things like lack of access to education and poverty. But then that affects everything else.

Perhaps industry casinos are just getting better at detecting abuse that makes it look like there's more?
There's really nothing to be confused about the question but you cannot blame the merchant or the casino for these scenarios. Clearly, the casino did the promotion or the bonus for new users to attract more users to the platform. However, there will always be an abuser for these kinds of promotions or bonuses. Also, these kinds of abusers can also be seen not only in the gambling industry but in any industry instead.

A lot of people are exposing loopholes to various platforms and doing illicit activities to their advantage and to earn money. This is pretty much common which is why platforms have policies for the bonuses they are implementing such as doing some bets or that you have certain points to be able to receive these bonuses.

1072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Japanese man gambled away a huge Covid-19 relief funds mistakenly sent to him on: June 15, 2022, 05:40:15 AM
Hmm, legally I don't actually think he did anything wrong cause afaik there isn't any kind of law that, well, tells you to return back something you got accidentally or not. If I'm wrong then feel free to correct me though. Morally, what he did was really wrong. I mean if it was a few bucks then maybe, yeah I guess I'd take it (don't call me on that), but if it was THAT big of an amount? Heck, I'd think something was wrong and try to contact the bank to ask who sent it or what the actual hell happened.

I have to say whoever sent the funds should also be accountable though.
Actually, both parties are accountable in this scenario as the organization made a mistake on sending money on the wrong account however they are entitled to recover the funds. Also, the person who received it have spent the funds knowingly that the funds he received is not his.

Upon doing a quick google search, I was not able to locate a certain law that indicates wrong deposit made however there were some situation that I've found where people who refused  to pay the amount they mistakenly received, has received consequences from the court. Also, most cases are against the person who received it and spent it.

Anyway, this makes me think that if this happened on a crypto transaction, the person who received the coins are not viable to any kind of consequences or even responsible to return it. Probably, mainly because of the anonymity of the owner of the wallet compared to owning a bank account where your information can be retrieved.
1073  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptos are uncovering our evil sides on: June 15, 2022, 03:25:02 AM
Humans has always been greedy. Crypto just provides us another ways for us to show it.

There's really nothing wrong being greedy as long as it won't affect other in a negative way. With the examples you've provided, the only example that is wrong is being a scammer.

Miners have invested with their rig using their own money and they have paid for the electricity for the maintenance to run the rig that they have made. Also, Miners are important people to crypto currency.

Investors are also, using their own money to invest with various cryptocurrencies to further their increase their funds however it has some risk whereas not all people maybe able to earn. That is why, TA or technical analysis are used by many investors to minimize the risk of losing money.

There's really nothing wrong with these methods as we are just trying to earn cryptos.
1074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 15, 2022, 02:45:44 AM
As others have stated, it's hard to win at gambling because the odds are against you.  It's pretty simple.  You're hoping that you get lucky most of the time.  Unless you're gambling on sports, then you're not so much betting against the odds, so much as the amount you win is reduced so that the casino will come out ahead (yes, I understand that's literally called the odds).

Like I always say, gamble for the entertainment and you'll win every time.

Exactly my sentiment! Thats exactly how a gambler should act and always put up his/her own boundaries and rules. Otherwise you are just throwing money at negative emotion and calling it a gambling addiction.

Unfortunately not a lot of people know how to hold themselves under control and just let loose.

But yeah, the casinos are always statistically much more likely to win. Otherwise casinos would not be as popular and profitable as they are. Especially online crypto gambling casinos that offer more freedom than traditional gambling.
Unfortunately, most people here are gambling for money rather than for entertainment purposes. However, their purpose of playing isn't wrong since that is also one of point of gambling which is to instantly grow our money with a huge risk is a short matter of time.

Gambling management should be what gamblers need to learn to avoid greediness on each of their bets and to avoid losing or controlling their money since odds will always be in favor of the bank rather than us. Also, we tend to increase the amount we bet whenever we started growing our funds which is also the time where our losing streak happens. We should be able to identify instantly whenever we are losing our bankroll to control the amount we are losing.

1076  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I survive in a place where BTC is restricted? on: June 12, 2022, 11:59:15 PM
It's either you follow the law of your government and know that your safe and out of possible criminal activity or you don't. You might still be able to hold and use btc or other crypto however it will be harder for you to do a transaction. Also, there's a chance that you might get caught in the process if you are not careful enough.
Again, you will still be able to use and hold cryptocurrency. Your main problem is doing transaction with it especially selling it for fiat or even doing P2P. Another issue are website that also restrict access on these countries as your funds may not be available once they've detected your from an illegal country.
1077  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Planong Taxation sa Crypto sa 2024 Maaring Ipagpaliban on: June 12, 2022, 11:20:38 PM
Sa akin lang po ha, mas okay ngayun ang current way of taxing our earnings in the form of realized income (e.g., crypto/NFT to fiat). Dahil 3rd world country tayo at saka one of the highest pa tayo sa tax percentage dito sa Southeast Asia, I do not think it is necessary anymore na mag impose ng specific crypto taxes for now.

Just like Diokno mentioned that we are in a much better place than we were before dahil sa kanyang experience, I really trust him as the incoming chief of DOF. Pero syempre anything could happen and we just have to be prepared for it mga kabayan.

1079  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake and primedice are the worst gambling sites on: June 12, 2022, 10:35:06 PM
Great, you bother to post an accusation from the gambling websites, Stake and Primedice, yet you don't want to hear opinion from it's user. They've obviously explained that they have not encountered any issue with the platforms as well as the accusations you've said. Why can't you provide any proof instead to prove them wrong?
Even Stunna, asked for a proof yet you've continuously saying that the platform is shady and that you're previous accusations turned out correct. That is not a proof and is not related to the platform.
If you bother to look at OP's trust rating you'll see that he's been doing this for six years already he never changes and just go on casting false accusations on casinos that he is trying to bring down

~image snip~

Just look at how he bribe one casino it is really on his character

~image snip~
Yup, I have already checked OP's trust rating and the accusation he's been doing is what caused him to received a red tagged on his account. I don't understand why he's still not banned here at bitcointalk for spreading false accusation/ news. I'm just asking OP to provide proof as I am one of the users from these platforms and I doubt that he'll be able to ruin they're casino as Primedice and Stake has been a trusted and one of the best (for me) gambling website out there. Especially Primedice which has been active on the bitcointalk community for a long time even Micro and Stunna.
Anyways, thank you for sharing the extorsion and asking for bribe to stop the negative campaigning he's been from the previous gambling platform. I was not able to look into those information while checking on his trust page.
1080  Other / Off-topic / Re: What the ... is wrong with Google ? on: June 12, 2022, 05:24:21 PM
Are you really sure that you're using Google? The only that I hate when googling some program or website is that it shows website that has been advertised in the first suggested link which sometimes are scam or fake links from the original website. But I've never encountered one like yours.
Also, I doubt Google will die anytime soon as it is one of the biggest search engine out there. They are too big of a company to die.
