1121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is the increase in Bitcoin price benefits us on: October 27, 2023, 07:23:46 AM
Bitcoin price at the moment is not on the negative side, with traders hoping it goes up more than it is will make them profit more in this movement, still sticking at $34k and I believe when you talk about who benefits more I'd say investors and traders. At this point nobody wants to be on the losing side, with it's bump I have that feeling that many would love to buy and some would hold because the price isn't staying at $34k for long (expecting another rise to $35-37k) and the buying rate would increase more, everybody who was thinking of selling would like to hold at the moment.
1122  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: October 27, 2023, 05:45:22 AM
Nobody can predict Bitcoin's price, yet there is someone who is good at forecasting. I believe technical analysis is effective, but not completely. Sometimes forecast, especially if someone renowned for being skilled at market analysis shares his opinions on the likely outcome of the price, major traders or whales will buy it, because I believe those traders don't have enough money to cause the price to rise. That's why some people thought that they predicted the price.

Predicting the price of Bitcoin can never be the way the market gives us and letting others use it (prediction) is a 50/50 thing, it may be right or wrong but some traders just feel prediction is something they need to make their trading much profitable.
In some cases it can be in their favor but I assure you that traders who don't have their own trading strategy that only rely on prediction lose more than they gain and it discourages alot of them, I don't know why they can't use their instinct rather than mere prediction?

Like you said is only who issued the tag that can remove it, ok... What if in a situation where the member who gave the tag refused to remove it what then do you suggest the victim to do?🤔
If the tag is justified, nothing can be done, if it's not then you'd have to be the good boy everyone expects you to be, that is, being DTs little bitch, that is, to behave nicely, kissing the rings, supporting them whenever possible, and never criticizing or step out of your boundaries.  Then you will have a nice little cult of little bitches circle jerking their masters left and right, either by merit, trust or verbally.

Don't you think that would be hash and too hard on the victim? Not everybody would want to dance to the tune of those who issued the tags, it may even make some abandon the account and open another one just to be free from such humiliation. To me if they plead and is not answered is best to just show them that you're not the same person that did wrong (it will be hard) but continue begging to be freed from those tags.

Quote
If by any chance you try to say something they don't like, they would welcome you with new tags left and right, to remind you who you were supposed to be.

That's like you don't have a say anymore in this Forum, you can't even air out something you feel is wrong or right and if someone ask what you think about something concerning whosoever dropped the tag you'd just say nothing only good words, mean while you have so much to say against that person, that's being in a prison without bars.

Quote
If you don't want any of that, step outside your room, there is an actual world out there.  It's much nicer than here. it's worse, there is actual blood and killings out here, don't come out, stay in this beautiful place where you can read evil, out here you have to face real evil.😢

@digaran if it were you holding such power over someone (who did bad then and want to change) would you let that person pass through such just because you think he or she doesn't deserve a second chance, what I mean is that if the person decides to be of good behavior, not going things that goes against the rules and regulations of this FORUM, would you threat that person the way you just said it or sketched everything?
1124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The fear of investment on: October 27, 2023, 04:39:26 AM
People are right to refuse to invest in something that they don't understand, if they didn't they would indeed get robbed by all sorts of scammers. So it's natural that they don't invest in Bitcoin, because Bitcoin is so difficult to understand and it's normal to have doubts. And it's not like not buying Bitcoin is an objectively stupid decision - don't forget that it's still a highly risky investment.

Scammers are equally everywhere you choose to do business and don't say it like one is safe when doing business outside crypto world. To me Bitcoin is sort of easy to get into if the right person passes the right information needed to start with, in some cases when someone explain how to start up investment on Bitcoin it can even trigger the person learning to start immediately.
Even if someone doesn't want to buy is not by force, is when you use force to enlighten the person that's when it looks like you want to scam that individual and they might back out, so even if they don't want to invest at least let them get the knowledge first, it will help.
1125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The fear of investment on: October 26, 2023, 11:36:53 PM
Hello friends

In our modern society, the fear of being scammed by king pins and other fake platforms has made many people to loose interest in investing bitcoin.
This platform is to enlighten the society that there are real investment platforms and also people earn bitcoins for a living, so they should give it a try and invest so they can also earn and also when it comes to this particular fear I think the environment where one is actually staying also contributes to this fear because just the other I was actually explaining the basic essence of bitcoin to a friend and all he could even think of was that I want to basically scam him of his money of which he doesn’t even know that bitcoin is actually a currency on which people benefit wonderful opportunity like through savings.

To me the platform as you call it isn't the issue of making people being scared of investing, is just the members inside. Is very hard to find a legit person to give you the right information about Bitcoin trading or investment. One you have that person I don't think that fear of engaging in cryptocurrency would be their.
Sometimes wrong information has a negative roll to play on this issue, money is hard to get and telling someone to do something he or she doesn't know sounds awkward, so is going to be hard to make someone try it and don't also blame your friend for not believing you because is not easy to get into what you have no idea of.
1126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies Stop Teaching When You Need To Learn. on: October 26, 2023, 11:13:15 PM
I think the newbies op is referring to are the ones who do not know what they are saying. True their might be newbie in the forum who are sound in the discussion they make, very full of knowledge. Newbies who are knowledgeable their is nothing wrong if they should share their knowledge with forum members but for those who don't have Idea about about what they intend to teach other people it is better for them to learn first to share good knowledge that will be benefit of forum members, than misleading with wrong ideas.

Another thing is how can you tell who knows what he or she is saying as in sharing crypto knowledge?
You can't point out an individual that he doesn't know what he's saying, to me is best you take whatever is coming out from any newbie, take your time and process it then you check if this same guy has what it takes to even give you any form of lecture concerning Bitcoin or crypto business.
Fine, we have many who thinks they know it all but I'll always say it, no knowledge is a waste. We shouldn't forget that we have those who can't help it but run their mouth when they don't know much of what they're saying and they don't care if you're losing funds or not, all they know is talk much on what they're not suppose to, those are the misleading ones we should be aware of on the forum.
1127  Other / Meta / Re: Trust Flags!!! on: October 26, 2023, 10:56:26 PM
I'm surprised, you are a senior member but still ask like that.

That's where you get it all wrong brother, I'm a senior member by rank on this Forum but that doesn't mean I know everything and I can't ask questions that you feel you know the answer to. If you think you have all the answers to all questions then I don't, so that's why I have to asked. Keep the ranks aside and tell me what you know that I don't.

Quote
Maybe you need to visit the meta and reputation boards often because there you can appeal and only the member who gave the negative tag can remove it. However, it is not easy to remove the negative tag, especially if the member who received the tag is caught cheating

I don't think I need to visit meta and reputation to know all that, and you know there are situation where the offender can appeal but it will take longer before his or her appeal can be looked into. If he's caught cheating that's understandable and I will never advise for the tag to be removed.
Like you said is only who issued the tag that can remove it, ok... What if in a situation where the member who gave the tag refused to remove it what then do you suggest the victim to do?🤔
1128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anybody expected this? on: October 26, 2023, 10:45:05 PM
Expect? No I didn't but at the same time I was well aware of the massive potential of bitcoin to see a big jump as I talked about it recently here. This is not even as big as a jump as I expected though, we still have a long way to go to reach a more realistic bitcoin price.

Is as if you're expecting something much bigger than what we're seeing, $34k as the current price is something big compare to July to September, some people almost thought this year isn't going to bring a price that would surpass $30k and many people have given up on the reminder of this year, because from the way it started nobody expected to see Bitcoin price at $34k and with the way it stayed at $25k got many discouraged to even say anything positive about it.
If this month can give us this positive price then I think November would be much more better in showing us green. But my main concern is why has it not yet gotten to $35k? going up to $34k and back down to $33k? What are we not getting?
I still think whenever it starts getting up to $35-$36k I feel that would be the time we see Bitcoin climbing to $40k, let's say from a new week or Saturday.
1129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 26, 2023, 10:28:15 PM
The Manchester derby is going to be a game that will come with a big shocker, I believe Manchester United will come out stronger in that encounter, a win in the champions league will make them play with all they've got just to be the top dog of this derby.
Manchester City have been dominating more in this derby but this season they don't look that active Manchester City they used to be as of last season and even 3-4 seasons ago, goals hardly comes with the style of play which is not that strong as we know them to be.
I think their (Man City) style of play is being countered by some of the opponents they played against and if United add more pressure and play as a unit without being greedy when it comes to goal scoring, I believe they can get a win against Manchester City.

Why the hype, you want me to believe that Manchester United will get a win against Manchester City? Then this must be a very big joke.
Manchester City are better than Manchester United currently, though City are without some certain players that will put them ahead of Manchester United in the game.
And even if they want to see themselves getting a win at home against Manchester United, they have to come harder than they did against Copenhagen.

Akanji was sent of after a reckless tackle last week if not the previous one. He will be absent but he will get a good replacement for himself still, Pep Guardiola should have that in mind!

I can't hype a team that's not up to the task, Manchester United are not consistent so hyping them won't be necessary at the moment, and I don't want you to believe if the United team can beat the Citizens in that encounter is just that you not seeing it from my own point of view. They might be pretty bad based on performance and Manchester City are just too good to lose any game but that would be a step up to beat City.
Don't use players who are not present to judge a game, and who would have thought Arsenal could beat City in their first leg of the season? This season is full of surprises and we should expect more to come, as for City not having players to make them win as you say it, thats not an excuse if Man UTD get a win.
I still don't think you're observing the way City are handling business this season, is very dull, they don't have that speed of getting business done on like last season. Let's see how Sunday would look like and I still believe United will get a win.

Keeping the rules of the forum is good enough for the growth of the forum, what the forum require from members is to abide to the laws of the forum and this will be better growth from the forum. The purpose of the forum is to make quality discussions and if members of the forum can make quality discussion it will affect the growth of the forum for good. Any member who can do what is needful of the forum by keeping the rules it is the best development any member can contribute in the growth of the forum.

Yes I absolutely agree with you on keeping the Forum clean by staying on course, not going against the rules and regulations because by going against it the forum would be in total mess. But when you start keeping the rules and regulations in check don't you think you need something more outstanding to make you recognized by many in this Forum at large?
Why I'm saying that is because we have 95% of the Forum members who only come here, obey the rules make quality post and then dash offline. At least that's their main concern. I know what I'm thinking is not what others are thinking but adding extra positivity is needed to show much loyalty to the Forum, because this community has ways of elevating people.
1131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 26, 2023, 09:51:00 PM
I don't think so, as I wouldn't expect too much from this derby on Manchester United although Manchester United will definitely put up a fight but their problem remains the same as they still can't score from their strikers and that has been the case in the last few games.
Fortunately, in the last few games MacTominay, Maguire, and Onan played very well in their matches which kept Manchester United from dropping points.

For the match of Manchester United against Manchester City in terms of prestige, this is a classic derby that will definitely be very interesting but for the final result I think Manchester City will still bring 3 points in this match despite playing at Old Trafford.

The main issue is Old Trafford has never been a fortress in the EPL especially in this derby and for Man UTD not to get goals from the striking department is because of the selfish play from Rashford especially. I agree with you on the few players mentioned above as the key to their recent success, if you take these players away then I don't see United having a better game.
This game can not be a very strong fixture, like giving us goals or something to say it's interesting but I think with what Man UTD have to offer would make it more tempting to watch. I just don't know but I have that feeling that Manchester United will give their fans something to cheer about, taking the victory with a tremendous display in that encounter against their neighbors Manchester City. I'm saying all these base on their (Manchester United) previous performance and you'd agree with me that they have done pretty well.
1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should we rely on prediction? on: October 26, 2023, 09:27:15 PM
Prediction can not be someone's only guess. An expert predicts something based on facts and events that are happening right now and that are upcoming in the future. Most of the time it becomes true that everyone was expecting Blackrocks ETF approval to have a heavy impact on the market and the market can rally based on that. But any unexpected change of events can prove your prediction totally wrong.

If we always use past events to say something is going to happen and we conclude that is going to come to pass in the nearest future and it doesn't, don't you think that is just a mistake to always rely on historical events?
Is suppose to be said that it might happen, that's to let those who are reading it to know is not 100% certain. But some of these guys dropping predictions will make it look like is not going to fail, and some traders do fall for these predictions, it also make them lose more money then they can imagine, because of false predictions.

Brighton are still not getting it right at the moment despite the half time winning against a struggling Ajax team, I just hope Roberto De Zerbi will come out into the second half with a different strategy, because if they (Brighton) get a win it will keep their hope alive in the group stage.
More goals are needed in this encounter and I can't see Ajax coming back to equalize or even scoring more than a goal, is just so disappointing to see the away team struggling in all competitions. I feel Brighton would take advantage of the opportunity they have at hand to boost their morale in getting ready for their next fixture in the EPL game this Sunday against Fulham.

Being a member of this Forum, what are the things that you can say YOU have done for the growth of this Forum aside from posting (which is normal) or fishing out scammers/hackers.
I'd like to know because we do have members that have the title (if I should call it a title) PROMINENT dancing by their name, and I just wonder.
What have they done to own that title?
There are two type of members in this forum, the members who just make post not minding if they make any sense or not and then the forum members who are very careful and intentional with every post they make. Many prominent and high ranking members of the forum are know for their quality contributions, so they are not just posters. By regularly contributing meaningfully to this forum, we contribute to the growth of the forum

These set of members that make post without minding if the post is making any sense or not are the types we have more in the Forum than the ones who take their time to make a quality posts.
They don't care about what goes on in the Forum all they know is make post and go off, they can't be seen showing much dedication to the growth of this Forum and that's where I believe some members don't want to be in (the less concerned members). With the other members who give us something to learn from, I'd say they should continue because the newbies have so much to learn from.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 25, 2023, 05:52:46 AM
It has been 22 years since PSG and AC Milan clashed in the Champions League. Group F deserves to be the group of death of this year's Champions League when everything is happening beautifully and unpredictably. After 2 matches, Newcastle is leading with 4 points. PSG had an embarrassing 1-4 loss on the field of the team that just returned to the most prestigious arena on the continent, Newcastle. In terms of performance, AC Milan is currently better with a series of impressive matches, while PSG only won 3/5 games. This is not an easy match, but PSG can win 3 points at home. I predict the result of this match: the home team wins 2-1.

22yrs is a long very long period of time for these two clubs to see face to face in one of the greatest competition of all time. PSG has never been in great shape when talking about champions league competition, they never had a better memory of getting very close to lifting the trophy but they seem to be one of the best in the Ligue 1 and going head to head with a promising Ac Milan that's always hungry to get a win in every fixture is going to be another difficult game for PSG.
Losing (PSG) to Newcastle 1-4 is really going to make them do their best to at least cover for their loss, that's if they can pressure the visitors from the beginning of the game to the end, just like they did against Strasbourg. I expect Luis Enrique Martínez Garcia to play more of the attack and more of the defense because the AC Milan team loves operating from the wings better to get a cross to the big man Olivier Jonathan Giroud, we know how dangerous he is with area balls, so I just feel without that being done by PSG we might be counting another champions league defeat for the home side.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: October 24, 2023, 06:59:35 AM
This season is just full of unexpected surprises especially with the champions, is like Manchester City are losing that pace of making other premier league clubs to be scared of them, this season is different compared to last season where we have them coming out strong, playing as if football is only meant for them alone, dominating a game from the first half to the end.
I can seem to find that force in them anymore no matter how good they play this season, I think they're gradually losing that strong force in the EPL.
The goals ain't coming like before and the big man Haaland is just not consistent in his scoring form since that's the only way he contribute to Manchester City. Is really going to be a thing to worry about, is like without a particular player or getting the ball to him without him struggling for it he can't get on the score sheet, that's why I feel City are really going down, who knows by next season we won't be seeing them as that dominant force of EPL that teams would be scared of playing.
1139  Economy / Speculation / Re: Has anybody expected this? on: October 24, 2023, 05:05:01 AM
Not that I'm a charting expert or a good technical or fundamental analyst let alone a bear, but I'm really surprised at the spike that's happened, and which is probably continuously happening as of this writing. So far, the price has already hit above $34,000. That's already more than 12% in growth in just 24 hours.

Has anybody somehow expected this kind of thing? Has anybody had at least a tiny clue that something like this would happen? I know Uptobers have been good months, but every huge increase especially a sudden one must have a big reason. I'm not seeing one that could push such growth so fast. I was really caught by surprise. Will a Bitcoin spot ETF be certainly approved soon that insiders have already relayed to their bosses the good news and the accumulation has secretly grown stronger?

To me nobody had any clue that this was going to happen, like is always going to be a surprise for both investors and traders, seeing Bitcoin price at $29k in the night and the next morning boom it has bumped to $30k the next morning up to $34k, like what's happening? Is only October that has a better explanation to this, and we should expect BTC to continue increasing it's pace to $40k-49$k, because that's the next price.
I said it that October is a very promising month and we should look out for it, those who talk more about next year that that's when we'll see a better and bumpy price, well here it is, the price can't stop getting better at the moment I also said it HERE we should expect it getting to $35k-$39k before we exit October.
1140  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin current range: $25K to $32K on: October 23, 2023, 09:24:24 PM
There is no such thing as certainty - the trend could change at any time, but let me tell you that the price movement over the past year has been quite positive. Price volatility will always be present - but the price increase over the last 1 year has been very good. Of course we haven't broken the $32K resistance over the last year, but getting a 60% gain is great.

The price over the past has been positive but you can't compare what happened to this year's movement there must be a change and I believe this year's movement is better than that of last year October.
The price is $31k and nobody have ever said it will get to $31k in this October so with how we're seeing what the market price is feeding us I believe it will surpass $32k. I just can't get it but I still have that feeling of seeing the price getting up to $35-39k before the end of October. Is surprising and I've been asking what's happening that the price is seriously going up?
