1121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RFK Jr Says He Purchased Bitcoin For His Kids on: July 29, 2023, 07:55:45 AM
I admit, I might be wrong in assuming that it was purchased as a collectible, however, it makes it appear this way from my eyes when he said he bought those bitcoins for his kids. I was not implying bitcoin is a collectible but it can be if you only want to hold it like a stamp collection without the intention of spending it or selling it.

But for his kids, if one of them is a good friend of Hunter Biden, the coins given to him would certainly be a medium of exchange that he can use to purchase drugs from the darknet hehehe.
You forgot the first rule, you shouldn't believe what politicians say. They say all kinds of lies. For all we know he may not even know how to spell Bitcoin let alone having bought anything.

Correct and thank you for reminding me hehehe. It might be why my first impression of uncle Robert's bitcoin purchase was he did it just as a collectible. I wish he is sincere in his support, however like you, the skeptical me is also asking why would he tell everyone that he supports bitcoin if it is not only for his self interest.
1122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Terrence Crawford vs Errol Spence - July 29 on: July 29, 2023, 06:39:04 AM
@Oasisman. Agreed. The fight might start with both of them being very careful and make it almost boring, I reckon. Also, similar to some of the recent superfights we have witnessed, these fighters are already very rich and are also assured of millions from their share of the purse. They might not want to punched in the face early in the fight or for the whole fight hehehehe.

I also changed my vote to Spence. Who are these other 2 voters with me? @Boafeng? @bisdak40?
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: July 29, 2023, 06:12:04 AM
I do not want to see this fight if Tank will be a little pussycat again and put various clauses in the contract to make the opponent weak when he goes to the ring. Tank does not want legacy, he only wants easy fights and money.

Tank has plenty of options at 135 and 140 all of which would be considered superfights, yet here we are with the Showtime Sports president trying to match him against a smaller fighter. Inoue is considered #1 pound for pound by most people and is well known across the world. There is no reason for him to accept any ridiculous limitations because he is an A-side fighter.

If we are very lucky that they announce something in the future, we will see. I am quite certain Tank Davis' team will play their dirty tricks to get an advantage before the fight. I reckon for Davis, the war begins during negotiations and similar to a real war, there will be nothing fair about it. However, yes, you are also right. Inoue is an A-list fighter, it would be on his terms. He would also not be stupid to agree to unfair deals like Ryan Garcia's team.

I doubt this fight would happen because i think Tank would not go down to 122lbs and the plan of Team Inoue is to unify all the belts in the super bantamweight then depend the title against Luis Nerry or Casimero and after that go up in weight again, this time in the featherweight division where the champs are way bigger than him.

With Top Rank holding Inoue I don't think Tank could squeeze their demand just to make this money fight against Inoue.

Despite of the fact that I want to witness Inoue to defend a unified super bantamweight championship vs. Casimero, I speculate that it would be more possible for him and his team to announce another move to featherweight and create history there. If he is successful, the next speculation would be if he moves up again to super featherweight. This would be 130 pounds and will make a catch weight fight vs. Tank a possbility if there is enough money and excitement from the fans.

However, this is only my own speculation. I am not telling everyone that it will certainly happen, only the possbility is there.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title on: July 29, 2023, 04:45:49 AM
However, he will be the first boxer in the history of the sport to be a unified champion in 2 weight divisions if he is victorious against Marlon Tapales. After this, it might be 3 unified championships if he again moves up to featherweight. Who are the big names there? I reckon all of the featherweight champions can be beaten by Inoue.

It all depends on what happens this Saturday. Crawford has a chance to beat him to that accomplishment of undisputed in 2 weight divisions.

Hehehe this will be good because it might make Inoue stay longer in the sport of boxing to break this record and become the firsr boxer to become a 3 division undisputed champion hehehe. I reckon after Tapales, 2024 will be 2 fights in featherweight to win 2 belts then another 2 fights to win the other belts on 2025! These will be historic years for Inoue that would also make him the greatest pound for pound.

@Kelvinid. Those are very accurate odds after the performance we have witnessed from Inoue against Fulton, I reckon. I have become convinced on the Japanese fighter. Inoue is like the young Pacman but with more knockout power in his hands.
I agree, he might not reach 8 division title as Pacman, but the way he is destroying everything that in his path, it's like Pacman when he was in the beginning of his career specially at lower weights. And Inoue can make another history, for Japan and then having won the unified title in bantamweight and super bantamweight in the 4 belt era.

There's no Featherweight champion that can match Inoue's power there's this thing circulating in social media on Fan Page boxing page, that matches Inoue to Tank Davis, only 13 lbs set them apart, they have the same reach and they have the same height, they can go for it in a catchweight, it will be a huge attraction both fighters have speed, power, skill, and charisma, I'm sure some promoters are thinking to match these two great warriors in the ring.

1126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: July 28, 2023, 04:53:04 AM
There is a rumor that might pump Robert Kennedy Jr.'s chance to be nominated as the presidential candidate. However, this rumor is bad news for Biden's campaign in the Democratic national convention hehe.

According to some news sources in social media, Bank of America, JPMorgan and other banks have submitted reports that made allegations on president Biden's family of committing tax fraud, moneylaundering and other financial crimes.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 28, 2023, 04:26:32 AM
@OgNasty. I would speculate that Cowboy Cerrone wants a fight, however, he wants the easiest but very popular opponent who can also collect the highest amount of money for him hehehehe.

On UFC 291, my head is shaking very quickly on why El Cuycuy is very underestimated vs. a low ranked fighter Bobby Green. Also, I reckon the Black Beast might also be underestimated against this Marcos who is another low ranked fighter.
1128  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bankman-Fried WON'T face federal charges over $90M donations to Dems on: July 28, 2023, 03:35:07 AM
@EFS. Also, everyone should be asking how much of this $90 million in donations were made using stolen money from FTX's customers hehehe.

In any case, I do not care about these reasons why a federal case is being dropped, however, this action makes the speculation that Sam Bankman-Fried has become the government's informant much more persuasive.
1129  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think Bitcoin Market Need Promotes for Price up ? on: July 28, 2023, 03:12:27 AM
@Faisal2202. Similar to what I have already said, there are certain occurrences that should be taken as signals for the end of the bear market. Ripple and Brad Garlichouse's victory over the SEC's case filed against them should be one of them. This has declared that XRP is not an illegal security and for this reason an argument can be created that many of the other tokens in the cryptospace might also not be illegal securities. This is bullish for all of the cryptospace because investors will not be afraid of doing anything illegal.

The other one will be Blackrock's ETF approval.
1130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: RFK Jr Says He Purchased Bitcoin For His Kids on: July 28, 2023, 02:09:43 AM
Also, assuming that Robert Kennedy, a politician, really purchased bitcoins for his kids as part of their inheritance, I reckon that we might be witnessing bitcoin's mainstream acceptance as a collectible.

How did you come to the conclusion that the bitcoin was purchased as a collectible rather than as a liquid scarce asset like gold? Also, calling this "mainstream acceptance" might be pushing it a little bit.

More free publicity nonetheless.

I admit, I might be wrong in assuming that it was purchased as a collectible, however, it makes it appear this way from my eyes when he said he bought those bitcoins for his kids. On Inoue not being very known to make an argument to bring him to Las Vegas, the promoters can make him the undercard for an event of Canelo or another very famous boxer.
1132  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think Bitcoin Market Need Promotes for Price up ? on: July 27, 2023, 04:29:07 AM
Yes it can certainly dump to $25k, however, it might also form a bullish divergence with the 14 day RSI which might imply that it will pump there after. This dump should be welcomed by buyers because clearly buying on $25k is better for your money than buying on $30k.

Also, there are unexpected occurrences in the cryptospace that should make everyone more bullish and know that we are at the end of the bear market. Occurence 1 is Ripple's victory against the SEC. Occurence 2 will be spot ETF approval.
If that happens then the situation will become more infuriating for investors and traders who took entries aorund $30k. But the risk is always there so they might not react tht much. But there are newbies too, to whom news outlets, titok, Twitter Influencers had motivated that BTC is going fo bullish cycle in 2024.\

Such news or statements attract many newbie to fall pray to FOMO. And not they might be suffering. Almost $100 million plus trades were liquidated just because market goes below 29,000$. I hope this will not occur and market would maintain its price at $29,000 at least.

The feeling of being more infuriated should be replaced by a feeling of more excitement. They would be the most infuriated if they dump on $25k because if it pumps back to $30k, what has occured? They dumped low and will be forced to pump high just like any newbie hehehe. Also, the observers who have not yet entered the market are in presently disbelief. They will be the next people to pump it higher when they feel the fear of missing out.
1133  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Big Short movie, BTC edition? on: July 27, 2023, 03:35:24 AM
News update.

Very much similar to what I have said before, the American government will make stablecoin issuers of their choosing as the gateways of liquidity and inflows and outflows of fiat in and out of the cryptospace. The regulatory framework for this might be available and ready on the president's desk on 2024 before the election.

Senior members of the House of Representatives suggested that a deal to create a comprehensive framework in the U.S. around stablecoins could be close.

And late on Wednesday the House Financial Services Committee advanced legislation to significantly alter the U.S. regulatory approach to crypto markets by a bipartisan vote, 35-15. The bill drew staunch opposition from several senior Democrats on the panel, but Republicans were joined by six Democrats report the bill out favorably, a procedural step towards consideration before while House of Representatives.

Waters and House Financial Services Committee Chair Patrick McHenry, R-N.C., were optimistic that ongoing last-minute negotiations could yield more agreement on stablecoins legislation paired with the market bill and due up for a similar committee vote on Thursday.

1134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / RFK Jr Says He Purchased Bitcoin For His Kids on: July 27, 2023, 02:58:37 AM
He might not get the nomination to become the Democrats' presidential candidate in their Democratic national convention, however, he is giving free advertisment for bitcoin hehehe.

Also, assuming that Robert Kennedy, a politician, really purchased bitcoins for his kids as part of their inheritance, I reckon that we might be witnessing bitcoin's mainstream acceptance as a collectible.

Presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr has always been outspoken about his support for cryptocurrencies. The 2024 presidential candidate has time and again made promises outlining the policies that he will enact if he is elected to power, including some targeting Bitcoin. However, RFK revealed Wednesday that he has actually purchased Bitcoin, 2 BTC for each of his seven children.

RFK previously disputed owning any Bitcoin of his own but confirmed owning 14 BTC in a Twitter space when asked about the subject. “Right after the Bitcoin Conference, I decided to put my money where my mouth is and bought two bitcoin for each of my seven children,” said Kennedy.

__
Within 2 years, while the EC will file an appeal, new crypto legislation may appear in the US if the right president wins the 2024 elections

There are some people in social media that have begun announcing a breaking news that the US house financial services committee in congress has passed a bill to create a regulatory framework for the cryptospace. Let us wait for more announcements from mainstream news and cryptonews media outlets and see if they share the documentation of the bill. I am quite certain that there will be some things in the bill that would be very head scratching for us hehehe.

My prediction, they will propose that there should be KYC on personal crypto wallets.
1136  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: SEC appeals XRP ruling on: July 26, 2023, 07:51:15 AM
Breaking news.
The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) asked a federal judge today to appeal parts of a recent ruling in the Ripple Labs case. The SEC says the decision doesn’t square with existing securities laws.
Don't understand how the decision doesn’t square with existing securities laws?
Isn't this decision issued by a competent judge? Is it possible for a judge to rule in favor of Ripple in a way that violates the law?

In any case, Ripple won the case in the first stage, and this will give them more confidence and time to enter the appeal with much more force, although I believe that the appeal will not change anything in the decision.

What are you trying to imply? The judge is not only incompetent but also corrupt? If you were paying attention on what has been happening in the cryptospace, it was CZ, Brian Armstrong, Jesse Powell, the Winklevoss and the other founders of cryptospace projects who were asking the SEC for regulatory clarity and guidelines to make their exchanges and projects more compliant. However, uncle Gary would not accomodate on their request and instead began cracking down on the cryptspace.

It took a judge to make a ruling to make everything clear for the SEC.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue | WBC & WBO 122 lbs bout | July 25 on: July 26, 2023, 06:36:57 AM

I reckon none of team Inoue's psychological tricks will work and this is why I predict a split decision win for Fulton.

I have never seen Inoue's face like that in Fulton's face-off from his past face-off, he is challenged to not humiliate Fulton but knock him it, I wonder why Ebbis said that Fulton is bigger in their face-off because they have the same body build and almost the same height, I believe Inoue can carry his power in the Bantamweight division and if he ever capture the Bantamweight division he will reign this undisputedly for years before moving up to conquer more division, Fulton is the only top fighter in the bantamweight division, not even Marlon Tapales can match Fulton or Inoue.

I am presently very ashamed of my prediction after witnessing what occurred in the ring. Fulton did not win any rounds! Similar to everyone, I knew Inoue is a good fighter, however, I was not convinced that he is a type of fighter like Pacman. Inoue certainly showed everyone that he is on his level.

What was the odds on a knockout win for Inoue? It appears this will also be the bet vs. Marlon Tapales hehe.
1138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title on: July 26, 2023, 06:13:03 AM
@Kelvinid. Those are very accurate odds after the performance we have witnessed from Inoue against Fulton, I reckon. I have become convinced on the Japanese fighter. Inoue is like the young Pacman but with more knockout power in his hands.

@bisdak40. The fight is speculated to occur on November. The venue might also be in Japan. However, Inoue's promoters should begin organizing his fights in Las Vegas if they want him to become a big name like Pacman.
1139  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Updated] FTX on: July 26, 2023, 05:24:50 AM
News update.

When did Sam engineer a giftof $10 million to his father? Within 1 year of CZ's action to dump FTT? This might be already planned as a countermeasure fund and if it is really a countermeasure fund then Sam might have already known that FTX would collapse 1 year before anyone else.

Former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried is reportedly paying millions to his defense lawyers using stolen funds. The accusation has come from lawyers on behalf of the now-collapsed crypto exchange. Specifically, they are claiming that the founder is paying $10 million in his defense using money that was misappropriated.

CNBC reports on the initial accusation against Bankman-Fried. Moreover, lawyers have stated that the FTX founder “engineered a gift” of $10 million to his father, Joe Bankman.

There are also rumors that Sam was seen outside the building of the district court for the southern district of New York. It appears all these jokes we were making about Sam being an informant for the American government might be true hehehhehee.
1140  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance adds support for the Lightning network on: July 26, 2023, 03:36:01 AM
I saw the update just now on his twitter.

Users can now deposit up to 0.05 BTC and withdraw for as little as 0.000002 BTC in fees.
I asked why deposits in the lightning network are restricted unlike other networks?

It might be because there presently is not much liquidity in the Lightning network to send more than 0.05 BTC and expect them to be recieved successfully 100% all of the time. I reckon it can handle a higher amount per transaction, however, Binance might be starting it more cautiously then slowly increase the limit over time.
