1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Do you know one can make millions with Launchpads? on: January 12, 2023, 03:31:30 PM
There is a good chance that we could end up with a good launchpad that vets the projects very carefully and gives us only the ones that have both a good finance, a good team and also a good roadmap.

However, right now they only let it be, and pick whoever could possibly pay them the most and that is not normal, that should not be acceptable thing at all. I know people are too worried about what is going to happen with their investments but if you are really worried then do not invest into things that are brand new, that just doesn't make sense to me. I understand it is a very boring thing to just hold bitcoin, but I rather do something that is boring than lose money.
I think the only way to tell if the launchpad is good is by checking out the projects that they support. If the projects that they support are great and seems legit then you are on the right place. It can be rare for a reputable launchpad to risk or trade their reputation for a good amount of money but the ones that can do that the most are those launchpads who are already shady or those who are still new in the market.

People invest in new projects, not because they are bored but because they think they can find a hidden gem there. Not all new projects are a scam and in fact there are also old projects who still can go bad or can turn in to a scam later on.
1162  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding could be better on: January 12, 2023, 09:39:44 AM
Its a personal choice on what you would really be dealing with since not all are really that good when it comes to scalping or short trade which they would rather decide to hold than to take risk on something that they arent really be able to be good at or something that they could handle it out and this is why people would decide that they will really just hold instead.Of course holding wont really be that simple as well specially
if you do able to see this market which does move on a random or no path manner which it would leave you some questions in mind on how these things could happen.
You do blink nor sleep you would be potentially missing out some price actions.
Learning or doing a research is free. If only we did that before we start investing then we won't wonder anymore on why the price moves. It may be true that the price can move in a random fashion. That's because cryptos are unregulated or decentralized but I think most of the times, the price is influenced by other factors like the news, economic conditions, our own actions, etc...

Price doesn't change that quick so you don't miss them when you blink. Sleeping can take a long time and within these times, the price may experience a change but it doesn't mean that we shouldn't be sleeping anymore. That's wrong. Health is still wealth and besides, the are there tools out there which we can use to auto sell or buy, when we are not monitoring the market.
1163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: SportsBetting portal launch Without money? on: January 11, 2023, 09:14:09 PM
any suggestion?
The advice is, find funds until you can have sufficient capital and start launching your sports betting site, because it seems impossible for you to run a business without capital and expect to be profitable immediately so there is no other way but to get money as a bankroll first, and even if you already have a large enough capital does not mean you will profit because the possibility for your bankroll to be empty is very likely.
Having a gambling site is not a business that provides certainty of profit. You can see that many gambling sites have ended their business or ended up not paying their players because the business was no longer profitable for them, so they no longer had the funds to pay their players.
There must be another reason on why some gambling sites can be unsuccessful. What if they lack something in terms of planning? This is why they spend boat loads of money in promotions. They think this can make them successful but they did not know that there are also other things that should be given an importance.

Gambling is a profitable business if only done right because the games have a house edge and this was unlikely to be beaten by any gambler no matter what strategies they are preparing. I saw lots of threads here about it and all of them ended up the same. They are still a loser at the end and the gambling site remain to be victorious.
1164  Economy / Speculation / Re: Starting to Think The Bottom May Be Close? on: January 11, 2023, 07:00:12 PM
What is your main reason for asking this? have not mentioned if willing to invest or just curious to what will be the future prices?
On his last sentence he is asking if he will accumulate. The OP came from Twitter and it looks like he have some good backgrounds at analysing the price because he already laid out some samples there. He came here asking for a second opinion other than relaxing for a while in twitter. I agree on the sample analysis that he laid there.

$16k is indeed solid which is why I don't think we fall beyond that point but I don't also think that we will fall below $17k. So the OP should hurry up now and accumulate more coins before we saw more price increases. There will be pauses and then there will be small decline, which we can use again for accumulation.
1165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 10, 2023, 08:36:31 PM
In a match that concerns the bottom of the league, Verona hosted Cremonese. Cremonese are winless in the league and continued their winless run with this game. Both teams are in the relegation zone and every point is valuable for them. Both teams performed equally and Verona won the game and moved one point ahead.
In the Bologna-Atalanta game, bologna lost the match despite leading at half time. Atalanta showed their difference in the second half and took the 3 points.
As expected Atlanta trying to achieve better results, but things are surely going into their favour which is good signal for them because in first match against Spezia they were trailing by two goals and then have good chance in last few minutes which give them good opportunities, and they avail with this all match end in a draw and now in second match against Bologna they have done again good job with after conceding early goal they have done back to back two goals and then have good defense for the last half hour which give them good win for having sixth spot which is good if they are able to maintain this form.

Relegation zone is still open for the few teams, but now form is also important with Cremonese is surely going to down, and other few teams have chance to survive, but it's never been easy because it's need's consistency in form and improvement in quality as well.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 10, 2023, 05:28:23 PM
Dortmund will need to focus on the Bundesliga more of course. But while they are doing this they need to be able to concentrate on the other tournaments as well. The Champions League comes first in this list and DFB Pokal is also there. They have five Bundesliga and one DFB Pokal matches before the Champions League restarts. They need to be targeting the maximum points and best results they can in these ones. Of course there are going to be really challenging matches against teams Leverkusen and Freiburg as well. But they will need to be extra careful in those ones.

Leaving all of these matches with decent results would be big morale for them before their Chelsea matchup. They will need motivation a lot there because Chelsea are already favoured by bookmakers.
In first half of the season, Borussia Dortmund was just average team with having not good performance in Bundesliga but still done good for having spot into Champions League knock out stage, but now things are looking more complicated for them in second half of the season because they are having sixth spot which is surely not good signal for them with all top teams are doing good job and have enough quality to stay at their levels for the rest of this season hopefully they will focus on all events, but their main target is again having spot into top four for the Bundesliga league table which is not easy because they are already suffering due to injury of their main signing of the season Haller and in absence of him now doing good job and having good spot is surely challenging for the Borussia Dortmund.
1167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 10, 2023, 12:59:10 PM
I thought about staking all on Arsenal against Spurs but one thing crossed my mind. It’s not just a fixture but a North London derby. Despite their poor form, I am not fully convinced that Arsenal will get an easy game against them. Tottenham will come up strong and very good in the NLD and normally Arsenal doesn’t really get away with a win anytime they face Tottenham at their home. I am suspecting a draw. So I’ll double chance Tottenham.
After the break Tottenham has improved performance, but things still not good because as they lost against Aston Villa here we can expect Arsenal can also steal this game but surely derby is never been easy for any team because sentiments are tough for both teams and have pressure for improvement in their performance but if here Arsenal won then surely this could be vital for them and if we have draw or Tottenham win then surely this could be more entertaining because this could be beneficial for other teams as well and gape could be reduced and pressure will be on Arsenal for having better performance for staying at the top in second half of the season because now Manchester City, Newcastle United and Manchester United all are giving their best for the challenging end of this season.
1168  Economy / Economics / Re: Avoid running into financial ruin this Christmas! on: January 09, 2023, 09:33:26 PM
I also wish to remind everyone that we should spend money wisely and be very prudent. We should remember that by January of the next year, there would be a lot of bills that would need to be paid. So remember that while shopping for those items that may seem to be relevant and cool to get now but would be definitely irrelevant later on.
By January, a lot of people would probably be heading to the bank after going all out with their funds during Christmas to take loans to settle whatever bills would arise and there would be a lot that would arise!
I think money is always tight for most people in January cause they spent a whole lot of money during the Christmas period.
The biggest mistake people make is taking out a bank loan to pay off other bills, this is the same as "Dig a hole close a hole". Standards that are too forced to meet lifestyles are wrong patterns, the biggest impact they will receive financially will never be balanced to make ends meet. The world is facing recession and inflation, the economic cycle is also experiencing obstacles to recovery.

While human life patterns are increasingly directionless, unequal financial capabilities are forced to keep abreast of the times, but do not adapt to the prevailing circumstances, this destruction is getting closer to failure in managing finances at the individual level.
I would say there are times in a persons life when you should ignore the financial consequences of your actions. I understand that as our nature in bitcointalk, people here like money more than living the life, or at least think that they should become very rich first and then start living life.

But, I am not one of those people, I rather have a happy life with low financial stability than a life where I postpone everything and not live it properly with hopes that I may get rich one day. This Christmas and new years has been quite expensive for me, and I mean a lot, so it's really just a normal thing that I am facing the troubles with it, but had a good week.
1169  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin - what price would you sell? on: January 09, 2023, 03:45:11 PM
Hope you had a successful trade, because Bitcoin is 17,277k at the moment but what I will like to ask is, what is the level difference between the present price and the price of bitcoin when this thread was created?

I believe the bitcoin dollar cost average shouldn't be a template for Bitcoin exchange and since bitcoin is an asset I wouldn't, cost it pruce with a dollar even if that is the exchange currency, so in essence, what I mean is we should give a long term view to Bitcoin rather than rushing to sell whenever the price sprung up a little.
If I haven't read this I won't noticed that BTC just jump a lot. That's nice and I hope this would continue now. This is something that makes us all happy and to feel positive once again as we see that our portfolio is recovering or increasing again and then there is this thought of earning a big profit later on.

Anyways maybe the guy is a short term goer and he already bought at the dip or during BTC is at $16k level and he is confident of selling it after some recoveries and maybe he even did it right before you right your response on this thread. Now he is waiting again in case price dips again but he has some coins left to sell for further pumps.
1170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 07, 2023, 09:18:11 PM
Monaco have a one-goal lead so far. They are trying hard to win the match. Also the opposition is trying hard to attack to pay for the goal. However, looking at the state of the game, it is clear that Monaco is more likely to win.
Hot favourite Monaco knocked out from Coupe de France by Rodez which is currently in relegation zone of Ligue 2 amazing stuff happening in this cup even at the end of first half Monaco was leading by 2 - 1 but in second half 80th minute goal from Rodez defender was enough for having match into extra time when they won by 3 - 2 which is good for them.

But, Monaco is still good in Ligue 1 as they are at the fifth spot with looking for place into top three which is not easy because currently Lens, Marseille and Rennes all are looking good and Monaco next challenge is against Lorient which was struggling before break but now having good start after the break hopefully Monaco will through pass this challenge and trying their best for having better rank at the end of this season in presence of top quality teams.
1171  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the bottom of Bitcoin? on: January 07, 2023, 05:15:09 PM
It is clear that binance is way more solid than FTX ever was, but one of the problems with relying on a centralized exchange is that even if they do everything right the exchange could still collapse if at some point governments decide to go against it with everything they have.

In that case even if binance is a solid company it could still disappear, it is because of this that it is important to always monitor its state and at the first sign that something is not right you need to get your coins out of there as fast as possible.
Don't worry mate, because with what happened with FTX and then the Binance FUDS after, many people are now scared to fully trust their assets on a centralized exchange. There are still people who will use a CEX but they won't store their funds on it longer or some can still store funds in it but that will only be the amounts that they can afford to lose easily.

As long the exchange is giving a good commission with the government then I do not think the government will go against them and I think even if some of them has a hate with crypto, they will still allow it because their greedy self is saying that money is more important more than their pride or dignity.
1172  Economy / Economics / Re: If your passive income beats inflation rate, deposit might be a better choice. on: January 06, 2023, 08:26:03 PM
You sound like someone who makes a lot of guesses about a hypothetical situation in which he is not. A passive income of the amount that speaks, what people usually do is spend it instead of depositing it in the bank. There are two exceptions to this:

1) People so rich that passive income far exceeds their level of consumption, so they reinvest it, but never in a shitty bank deposit, unless for a short period of time (to buy when they see an opportunity in RE or shares of a company).
2) People still in the accumulation phase, who in this case reinvest the liability but in the same way as 1). It doesn't make sense to put it in a deposit unless it's short term.
You are both right and wrong at the same time. Rich people do have money at bank deposits because they can't just put all of that money into a company, and that "short period duration until they find a good stock to buy" becomes years because they keep making insane amount of money and they can't spend it at the same speed to buy some stocks.

Warren Buffet is a good example, they constantly have cash that they are trying to spend on buying up companies, and it's really hard because you can't just buy 2-3 billion dollar worth stocks from most companies, it would be pretty hard, only couple dozen companies are that big only. Hence, you are right usually, but there are exceptions as well.
1173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Reasons why the 95% of future traders lose all of their money on: January 06, 2023, 08:18:03 AM
investing and trading honestly is more than what's written in technical analysis books, there are so many emotion involved and that could influence your decision in trading and investing, so if you happened to lose your money in your trading maybe you're getting too carried away emotionally and make some haste decision, moreover the fact that so many coins out there don't follow technical analysis pattern is enough reason that you could be losing your trading and investments since sometimes it's all about luck.
If the book is only about analysis then that is the only thing that you will learn there but other things are not yet tackled there. Investing is so wide but there might be books who are complete already. Trading mainly uses technical analysis but in investing, it's more on fundamental.

It's still up to us if we think learning both can be more beneficial to us then why not? If there is one thing that have in common for both investors and trading then that would be the emotions. It can messed you up pretty badly no matter what you do so we should learn how to control it to be able to be successful in our journey. Losing is sometimes inevitable but this should discourage us totally. Just carry on.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum drop gets me worried. on: January 05, 2023, 09:10:08 PM
It's a crypto cycle that might take place, you can say that Eth always follows bitcoin in every market movement, we are all speculating
and if the market will not be nice to us, we might see more downfall next year.

People who do have strong understanding to this investment will continue to follow and will continue to chase the low price
and store it inside a safe wallet.

Hoping to see good profits when the market starts to pump back.
I think market will be a bit better to us this year than it was last year. I mean in 2023 we can't go for another 12 months where it is bad, we already went like 14-15 months so far that was bad, another 12 would mean that for 26-28 months it was bad, and I do not think that it will happen.

The best thing to do right now would be making sure that everything is on control and will be done perfectly well until the recovery and accumulate as much as we possibly could to continue doing what we do. I am not saying that we should be selling all we have, like our houses and cars and everything just to get bitcoin, that would be too much but we should get as much as we can afford to spare at least.
1175  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Bear Market Mistakes to Avoid on: January 05, 2023, 08:05:03 PM
Talking about panic and fear I feel is the same thing once they see the market has not been in their favor the next step to take is to sell, the issue is not only bitcoin experienced bear but all most every market both tesla, etc. putting emotion while holding to might just keep give you heartbreak and most people are always ready to sell once is not in their favor, and the best thing avoid futures and altcoins
You don't look like you are a noob so you better improve that mannerism of yours. This was also for your own good. It's true that the crypto market isn't alone in terms of being bearish. I think that is due to economic issues that the world is facing right now, as we know that other markets are more related to the real world events or can react more to it.

Emotions are normal as a human being but there are some people who are just weak and naturally emotional. If you are like this then you better avoid dealing with riskier stuffs such as investing, trading and more in gambling. There are still ways to fix that conditions. You better work on it first.
1176  Economy / Speculation / Re: How we know btc not going to 100$ ?? on: January 05, 2023, 12:52:10 PM
Close to impossible indeed because if we do make out some comparison into those early years where only a few do known heard of about Bitcoin then its price is still hitting those numbers
but now that its widely spread and been known then it wouldnt really be that surprising that the value do rose up that high. Its impossible that it would really be going back into those
level but we know that everything could really happen but it would be basing up if theres something huge wrong  thing happen into it but for now on the current
condition where it do seems that it is really that holding strong on this point which is too far off on the price where op is trying to tell us out.
I think that is only possible once binance follows the footsteps of FTX because there are also a lot of people who are telling the same thing that when binance collapse, a big disaster is then going to happen in the crypto market. We know that binance is like the foundation of cryptos due to how large this exchange was.

They already have done a big contribution into this market but lately they are still being attacked. Well in anywhere that we go there will always be people who are like that. For now all that we must do is to calm down. Binance is trying to clear their names and then the condition of BTC is getting stable now. Let's hope we can stay like this for a long time.
1177  Economy / Economics / Re: [Article] Good job, internet: You bullied NFTs out of mainstream games on: January 05, 2023, 11:05:50 AM
The NFT hype died because almost all NFT projects are scams, not because the crypto markets are facing a crypto winter.
If the decline of cryptocurrency prices was the main reason, then we should be witnessing more ICO tokens right now, because obviously all ICOs died due to the 2018 bear market, not because they were 99% scams. Grin
NFTs had a cool concept(in theory) which failed in reality, because no NFT owner can protect his NFT from being copied and used without his permission. Perhaps the NFTs will be replaced by a better system in the future. A system, that actually protects copyright.
P2E games are a ponzi scam, nobody can change my mind. Just look at the Youtube channel "Coffeezila" and his investigation against Logan Paul.
Nft's can't really be copied but those who try to are just imitations or fake and can be easily spotted and reported. Using NFT's as avatars aren't also allowed now. Anyway, I think it's both a combination of the bear and then the growing number of scams in the NFT scene. That should be the cause of their death. That's a great thing so that people's attention will be diverted again in the original cryptos.

Sooner or later, we can see an increase in their volume. About the ICO's I think there are still a few numbers of them but I don't think they will became a hit again due to how risky they are. There are now better alternatives than them so why would investors or project owners choose them?
1178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: January 04, 2023, 09:25:45 PM
Newcastle are showing a great game this season and given the problems of the competitors, their chances of getting into the top 4 are very high, I think they are favorites against Tottenham/Liverpool/Chelsea.
Now I will root also for Newcastle (although I do not like oil clubs) - I really want to see Ronaldo's epic return to Europe plus a strong new club in the Champions League.
I also don't like clubs run on Arab oil money. PSG and Manchester City can't win the Champions League despite spending a lot of money. But Newcastle's case is completely different. Newcastle's owner is very rich. But Newcastle is doing well without any star players. And consistently they are performing well. The team was close to the relegation zone last season and struggled to qualify for the Premier League. I will be happy if they are able to qualify for the Champions League.
Just having money is not enough for winning trophies in UEFA because as we all know right now few top UEFA clubs under ownership of rich Arabs, but sadly they are not able to win this prestigious trophy Champions League because this all needs something more than money like passion and dedication which is also helpful for having good results in this competition now Newcastle United is also having same winning pattern with most chances they could be also in Champions League in next season which will create good fight for the title between these rich Arabs but still things are not easy as now Manchester United and Barcelona are also doing good job with Juventus squad is also having good strength for the fight into this competition.
1179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 04, 2023, 08:18:04 PM
And neither Arsenal or Newcastle ruined its record and the match ended with a draw indeed Wink
It is an opportunity for City to reduce the gap between them and Arsenal again to 5 points once they win against Chelsea.
For Newcastle, they risk to become fourth since ManU still lacks 1 game and they share the same number of points.
Most chances we will have Arsenal and Manchester City at the top of league table until end of the season because both teams are doing good job and have enough quality for staying at these spots for remaining two spots now things are looking very interesting because Newcastle United is also at his best and lost just one match from their 18th games with Manchester United is also having same points, but they have one game in hand with Tottenham and Liverpool are also coming behind, but they needed more strength in their squad as things are very tight at the top of league table and quality is also very high which needs to be competed if any team wants to stay at the top here real test of Newcastle United how they will manage this all near the end of the season.
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Memecoin and utility - impossible or next stage of crypto development on: January 04, 2023, 07:23:24 PM
I think the only meme coins that facilitate creativity in real practical way is shiba inu, other meme coin like doge quite literally just being used for generating profits and nothing more, it's like just a pump and dump tools.
even though shiba inu may have the same characteristic at least it has some innovation behind it unlike doge that's just gonna stuck like this forever, the doge this day and in the future will be the same.
Afaik, dogecoin doesn't have the ability to create a smart contract. So, even if its community or its devs badly wants it, they can't do anything about it. They just leave it that way while this is possible for coins like shiba inu but that isn't enough to say that they are more creative because they aren't the first to create the project that they are planning.

Dogecoin has its own origin on why it's built and if not only because of Elon then this coin won't be called as a pump and dump but if dogecoin is a pump and dump coin now then what do you think about shiba inu? Don't forget that shib is also being mentioned by famous personalities like Elon and Vitalik. There are even reports about selling, donating and burning the coin.
