1201  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are crypto advisers worth to be looking for? on: February 11, 2020, 01:03:09 PM
There are professionals that can guide and teach you on how to work on any aspect of crypto even trading. I feel if you are really serious about it, you can get close to a reliable one. There could be scammer too so beware. Asides one on one teaching, here on this forum are professionals who can discuss with you about it, you can also get more from the YouTube, practice and then improve on it.

To my opinion they are not worth time or money. It's hard to find a reliable one and the question is how much will they really help and teach you.
I think that all necessary information could be found online, on.YouTube, forums and blogs, specialized web sites. Such advisors will not teach you anything outside this and the real practice you need to make on your own.
1202  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price exceeds $10,000 on Feb 10th … on-chain and off-chain growth positive on: February 11, 2020, 10:47:17 AM
The price has already fallen and again below $ 10,000 for bitcoin. Therefore, there will be a lot of news about bitcoins that have reached the mark of $ 10,000, because I think that the price may slightly exceed it, then roll back. Now the main thing is to gain a foothold at the level of 9800-9900.

We are below $9,800 now and it is still falling at the time of writing. Though I'm positive about Bitcoin, there's still a slight chance that what happened in October 2019 might happen this time too where Bitcoin reached $10,000 and still fell $8,000. The halving is near (As my source say, this May) and I hope that this will be the driving force to go beyond $10,000.

This just shows the nature of Bitcoin volatility and how fast price can change. Temporary price rise doesn't mean continuous growthw and corrections are possible at any moment.
Currently price pulled back with tendency to go even lower. We can see that price stayed in a range of 10000| for a very short time so don't make big plans yet.
1203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is Trending on China on: February 10, 2020, 09:35:10 PM
The relationship of bitcoin is not that good with the Chinese since it is banned by the government, though I don’t think its totally banned but I hope is not. If only Chinese can decide on their own, for sure Bitcoin will be one of their option, anyway this is just a short hype since we are now down again to $9k level.

As far as I know Chinese government didn't ban Bitcoin, Chinese still can use it. And I think that too much importance is given to chinese influence on Bitcoin, especialy on the price movements, and in reality it isn't that big. Bitcoin can grow and develope further even without China although everyone is welcomed along the way.
1204  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Poker (BIP) on: February 10, 2020, 08:39:53 PM
I have a doubt, when entering the site it is by default in Russian language, maybe in English I would have more vision, some people feel more confident when seeing it in English, they have thought that each record has an initial balance of at least 5 tokens or coins, but maybe something in satoshis, if what you want is to capture people, that's the best option.
When using desktop there is an auto translator. Yes it works but when in mobile those who don't know russian language won't surely understand anything. My opinion, the site should support another language such as english. Since I don't know the language then I am not going to try it out.

Supporting multiple languages today is one of the conditions for successful business, including poker platforms. That attracts diverse players and if site isn't user friendly and doesn't offer pleasant user experience I'm the first who will avoid it. It's not good to target only one group of players.
1205  Economy / Economics / Re: If you could invest your cryptocurrencies in the environment would you? on: February 10, 2020, 06:42:09 PM
Investing to save environment is always a good and noble cause. I would also say necessary because time has cone when everyone of us needs to do something to save our planet, so yes, I would definetely do.that.
We are all aware that Bitcoin mining also influence environment in negative way. However, I.believe there is a solution to diminish such bad effects and because of that at least some part of Bitcoin profit should be imvested to protect environment.
1206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are finally going to $22k on: February 10, 2020, 05:42:49 PM
Well, I think $22k is a piece of cake for the Bitcoin problem is people are too impatience they are not understanding the underlying dynamics of Bitcoin. How it is going to make things better at every individual level.
When our next generation will understand the benefits of Bitcoin Pirce will be at it's best.

We almost reached $20k at the height of bitcoin in 2017. So for sure, $22k is doable in the future, all we need is more people joining the crypto sphere either as investors or just used it as store of value and we are off in the future.

And what could be the trigger here, it could be very reasons, but I think investors are putting their faith on the next block halving in May, we might see like $12k-$15k prior to the halving, and next it will go to $20k at the end of the year again. It will be very exciting again this year for all of us, so simply have the patience.

Your formula seems so easy and simple but for significant price rise isn't just enough that more people join and start to use crypto. Market is much more complex than that.
I also believe that 22000$ is possible but I don't know where the conclusion that this is happening right now is coming from.
Currently we are below 10000$ again and further corrections are possible. I can't figure out why with every little price rise people think that Bitcoin will reach 20000$ or more. That is quite unreasonable.
1207  Economy / Speculation / Re: It's over $9000! on: February 10, 2020, 11:45:47 AM
It was also over 10000$ but for a short period of time. However, there is nothing to panic about, corrections are happening all the time and are quite usual. Because of volatility that is something we always need to have in mind before making some premature conclusions.
In the next period I expect for price to go back and forth, so we will not have some steady growth but not the fall either. Regarding that I don't expect some major changes in price.
1208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized?? on: February 10, 2020, 09:42:25 AM
Due to large mining farm and big whales, I guess the decentralized property of bitcoin ecosystem will not get disturbed. Let's look into what are basic decentralization, we are enjoying with bitcoins, for example,  no one issues bitcoins - no one able to freeze our BTC savings - value is not depending on one or any government's policy; I guess nothing of these get disturbed due to whales or mining farms as far as I understand.

If these whales or mining farms are able to alter the total supply of bitcoin or able to double spend or working on 51% attack or trying to chargeback btc payments then we can start saying that bitcoin is no more decentralized as its basic things are getting changed due to some people.

Exactly, Bitcoin isn't under influence of any government or central authority. But does only that really makes is decentralized and independent?
Here on forum we see claims all the time, comming from community that whales are designing Bitcoin price and manipulating the market. That is totaly oposite to origin idea of Bitcoin and I'm not sure that Bitcoin is so decentralized as some like to believe.
Maybe there isn't formal centralized authority that controls Bitcoin but it seems that whales tend to do that. Or is this just a legend?
1209  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: February 10, 2020, 07:02:02 AM
Most winners of the Daily race are actually on private which makes me question the legitimacy since it is like this with pretty much every daily race.. Play with caution.

Maybe It is because most winners are smart people who know that it is not a good idea to share their user name on a public forum especially when everybody can see how much they are making.

I really don't think anybody cares how much anybody is making.

One of the reasons why dices sites like wolf.bet and luckydice.com among others provide a leaderboard and daily race is to give the other players a chance to flex.

Realistically, I dont think anybody is going to bother searching for users on BTT to beg for money. After all, there are plenty of millionaires on the forum, some of them very public. Surely they would be stronger targets?

Maybe someone does care how much are people making if they see them as a possible target. There are some very skilled scamers who use different techniques to get necessary data out of users to misuse them and steal their coins. Social engineering is more successful that you might think.
It's always good not to reveal more data than it is necessary and try to keep your privacy.
1210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than your bank! on: February 09, 2020, 09:37:56 PM
Well, Bitcoin gives us more freedom than traditional fiat currencies and using it we are not depending on banks.
However, we still can't rely only on Bitcoin. People still earn their money in traditional currencies and Bitcoin isn't fully accepted, regulated or introduced formaly into our societies, economy and financial systems.
Like you've said many people still don't know much about Bitcoin, don't trust it, don't have access to it or simply not interested to use it.
I don't think that is going to change any time soon and majo of people will remain dependent on fiat currencies and banks, that is the fact.
1211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: February 09, 2020, 07:49:27 PM
I think that this depends from exchange to exchange and their policy and business standards. Exchanges are focused on profit so as long as they get money they will list any coin, or at least some exchanges that don't care that much about their reputation and their clients.
So, you always have the choice and you can avoid exchanges that list shitcoins, simple as that.

Do you think Satoshi was someone who couldn't think of that? Guys, don't search for him anymore. Unless he shows up, you won't find him!

Exactly, this is getting really ridiculous. I can't imagine that someone might beleive Satoshi would let to be revealed through IP address. And if that was the case, what is the proof for that.
I really can't understand why are people so much interested to find Satoshi and how would that fact influence their lives. Just let him be and if he doesn't want to be revealed no one will manage to do that.
1213  Economy / Gambling / Re: How To Win 0.2 BTC From 0.8 BTC Balance In Dice Fast - In 10 Minutes on: February 09, 2020, 04:27:54 PM
Okay,,, so everybody has already commented on this and I agree with most of the comments. But the one I agree with the most of all is if you really want to just get the result and outcome no matter the loss. Then you might as well go x4 in 1 bet.

The point of a strategy for me is not to have a strategy of winning, but to last as long as you can.

Bust is always ALWAYS the end result if you play very long without a target;)

There we come to the point. Gambling is maybe based on pure luck but still if you are looking for some long term results and sustainable play at least some strategy is needed.  In that also losses should be calculated and how to overbridge them and you shouldn't be lead by greed, that never ends well.
1214  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralized exchanges have become the banks of the cryptocurrency world on: February 09, 2020, 11:30:55 AM
In a way I can agree that some cryptocurrencies exchanges play the role of the crypto bank.
But that maybe shows that there is a need for some forn of crypto bank where users could get cryptocurrency related services.
I don't think that will influence decentralization in a bad way and ruin the very essence of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. Maybe that would be something worth taking into consideration.
1215  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price: $ 12,000 is no longer out of reach on: February 09, 2020, 10:23:28 AM
Well, I have to say I'm a bit surprised that price crossed 10000$ relatively fast. I expected to see a little more struggle.
However, that doesn't mean price will jump to 12000$ so soon. It's very likely that we will see that price this year and probably even higher but don't forget that corrections are always possible. I wouldn't like to make conclusions right away, let's wait for a while to see how the situation in the market will develope.
1216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investing 1$ every day in bitcoin over the last five years on: February 09, 2020, 01:06:08 AM
I'd like to see this as a graph,  with a rolling starting date, up to today. This should show when was the best time to start investing a dollar per day, but I'd be especially interested to see if there's a starting date that puts you at a loss after 5 years.

LoyceV make this!

Exactly, it would be nice to see how this looks like when it's drawn, in.some graph and how this investment was developing. Of course, there were good times and bad times for Bitcoin price over that five years and it would be nice to see how that influenced the investment in general.
I have to say it's an interesting idea to have such disciplined way of investment of exact same amount during rather long period of time, I don't think there are many such investors.
1217  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for an investor for a project on: February 08, 2020, 10:31:30 PM

You can also consider posting at this section: Project Development

Possible investors can't just be found on the Gambling section as they are open at any opportunity.

I see that there are chat logs there but it doesn't have a timestamp. When those chats occur?

I would say that potential investors should be gamblers to invest in this.
Actually he didn't provide any relevant data, not even URL and nothing that would convince any potential investor that this is the project with at least minimun legitimacy and potential success, not just another attempt to get money out of someone. I.think this is the typical example of bad presentation of project. It certainy wouldn't interest me to invest.
1218  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Minimizing the risk- How much possible it is? on: February 08, 2020, 09:28:23 PM
You can't avoid risk completely but you can diminish it. First of all, don't ever invest more than you can take. Also, don't put all eggs in just one basket which means that you should diversify your portfolio and choose different types of investment. It's also important not to be greedy and to set realistic goals that you can achieve and always to have a back up strategy.
Even when you are doing the best in trading don't forget that losses are always possible and be prepared to make decisions fast and without hesitating.
1219  Economy / Gambling / Re: New casino on: February 08, 2020, 08:10:11 PM
When running for a fast profit creators of such casinos often don't think enough about quality but on that way they will not attract and keep the players.
If the site looks shady or doesn't give confidence, if the lack of legitimacy or security can be spoted, if visualy isn't attractive these are all bad things that can lead to failure.
Take all this into consideration because I think there is still a lot to work on at that site.
Don't forget there are lot of gambling projects out there and it has to be really good to find its place in the gambling universe.
1220  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC restoring faith in bull run. on: February 08, 2020, 05:09:48 PM
I still wouldn't call current situation a bull run. It's still hard to tell if we are going to have continuous, fast and steady growth or this is a temporary rise after which the corrections will follow.
Despite the positive trend I'm not having too big expectations and although we are very close to 10000$ the price might pull back. Anyway, I don't expect to see real bull run any time soon.
