1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Signs that indicate you are not addicted to gambling on: July 13, 2023, 02:33:58 PM

These signs suggest a healthy relationship with gambling and indicate that you are not addicted. What other signs do you know of?

You mean you kept betting yet were not addicted. It's a contradiction but maybe gamblers who are in denial can say they are not addicted when they are always logging in to their casino account. I think there is a need to consult a therapist or psychologist for someone to be checked whether they are addicted or not.

If you can live a single week without logging in to your casino account and bet, I guess that's one sign. Of course, you still need to be assessed by the specialist.
1202  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 13, 2023, 02:41:36 AM
It seems like everything they throw in the internet, they're making it happen, of course for the sake of money. I think we all have to agree that this is going to be a mismatch, obviously in favor of Fury. The guy literally had a lot of experiences in the heavy weight division, not to mention that he was born to box - so he knew every corner of the ring and survived the heaviest punches in this division.
While Ngannou who dreamed to become a boxer but actually did not happen, instead he fought in professional MMA has zero pro boxing experience. We have already seen enough that boxing and MMA is 2 completely different sports, though it's both the same contact sport, but totally different technically. MMA fighters tends to gas out at the middle of the scheduled round. Boxing may look like it's an easy sport than MMA, because you're basically just throwing punches and waiting for an opening, but boxing is actually more than that because when you gassed out and your feet is shaking, a huge chance you'll kiss the canvass.
I think this all started as an april's fool joke. But then it began to pick up steam and it was finally announced they would be fighting.
It is showing as an exhibition fight but from the headlines this is for the title that Fury holds.
Of course Francis will want to do this regardless because everybody knows boxers get paid more for their fights than MMA fighters do.
He does have the frame of the boxer and he has done it before joining the UFC.
Somebody on their socials were saying when the odds makers released the markets to put as much as you can on Tyson Fury winning. So you know who the heavy favorite will be going into it in a few months from now.

Story was that Ngannou dreamed of earning like Conor did with Floyd. But Dana White is not allowing him using the UFC contract which Ngannou didn't sign another contact of UFc since he wasn't also given the chance to fight Jon Jones. There is a long story of quarrel between Dana and Ngannou which Dana undermines Ngannou.

This time Ngannou has success in getting much money than what UFC can give in his entire UFC career. He may not win against Tyson but this is a vindication for Ngannou with his own promotion.

I think Tyson was also interested to prove who is the baddest guy on the planet thats why he also accepted this fight. And he is also making a huge money out of this fight.

1203  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 13, 2023, 02:08:49 AM

Dricus is crazy. Whatever his reason for raising such issue is just him. But I Think UFC will be invaded by politics, Trump walking with Dana in UFC 290 is like  Trump promotion.

First of all, I don’t think it is going to happen, and I also think that Elon Musk is just trolling. A lot of people don't know, but Mark Zuckerberg is actually a black belt in jujitsu as far as I know. He was the winner of a jujitsu competition which was held during the time of Covid. Probably he is just draining and trying to get better. But at the same time, I do not underestimate the chance of the fight happening. There is a genuine chance that we will actually see them fight against each other. But right now I think Elon Musk is just having fun. Otherwise, I think Elon Musk would have trained for the fight. But instead of that, we see him posting different photos of himself being out of shape on Twitter.

There's no way Zuckerberg is a black belt. Most professional UFC fighters who train jj are not ranked that high. He competed in some tournaments but in the white-belt categories. So it's still a very long way to go for him if he ever gets there.

I don't think any of them would want that fight to be honest, so yeah, it's just 100% trolling.

Any thoughts on Aspinall Vs Tybura (UFC London)? Aspinall is definitely better but returning after a pretty bad injury so there's always some uncertainty.

They are billionaires, both of them probably have plans to rule the world lol they're not gonna let Dana play them around. Mark and Elon wouldn't mind watching UFC fight nights but them inside the cage is like allowing themselves to be fooled.

1204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Motivating gambling addicts to invest in bitcoins. on: July 13, 2023, 01:42:54 AM
Today, as you may notice, a lot of gambling sites offer to play and earn with bitcoins. So, for those who are fine about gambling (as a way to pass the free time), I would reccomend the next article, dedicated to bitcoin casinos - https://cryptonomist.ch/2022/03/23/bitcoin-casino-6-migliori-crypto-casino-e-slot-dove-spendere-btc/

Thats one way of promoting a casino to new users with the aim of having some BTC. It is however enticing them to gamble what they could earn and for gamblers its a pitfall.

Investors has to invest. If they are gamblers and will invest in BTC, they might have to avoid crypto casinos or they will just gamble the BTC. If possible they should just gamble in fiat casino.
1205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 12, 2023, 05:37:17 PM
Both fighters are from the Africa Origin, Adesayan is from Nigeria a Yoruba tribe, he speaks the yoruba language, he visit and has given helping hands in Nigeria too.  lets not argue much about their Origin, Dricus Da is from South Africa, in South Africa we have the black and white race, let the skin colour no bother you.

in Africa, Nigeria as the giant of Africa is being jealous by the South Africa, they feel their deserve to be call the giant of Africa than Nigeria. this match between the two brothers will turn to a political ideal war. in Nigeria people are mobilizing funds to be at the stage enmass to support Adesanya.  it will be very interesting match. looking forward for it.

It adds up the spice for their fight actually. Izzy I think will take Dricus seriously in their division because of this. No wearing of flags soon, it just going to ruin the party.

Meanwhile, UFC Vegas 77 has the most uninteresting matchups. Dana must have plaans to make Holm vs Pena soon for the vacant.
There was a rumor about Rousey coming back to UFC which I guess is also part of Dana's plan for the women's division.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your first experience with gambling? on: July 12, 2023, 04:01:11 PM
You only get addicted when you do it every now. It's more like smoking, the more you smoke the more you like nicotine in the long run but I think it also depends on the personality of the person.

I didn't plan to gamble in crypto but back then there was an exchange that shall remain unnamed has a dice game in it. So I tried playing dice since a lot of users are also discussing dice games. It's not really a great experience when you think playing dice in crypto is like literally throwing dice, it's just a roll-up and roll-down option. But I did win at first and then lost all after it.

1207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight (july15,2023 on: July 12, 2023, 03:30:30 PM
Yes, Nonito is more technical than Pacquaio and probably the reason why he is can fight up to this point. Not that badly damage as compare to Manny wherein he has go to a lot of wars around 126-135 against some of the great boxers during that era. And then at 140-147, fighting bigger guys.

Not really that technical, though Donaire has also suffered devastating knockouts in his career. It's Pacquiao who is truly more technical in the ring. Although he may be perceived as a brawler, his exceptional ring IQ is highly evident in most of his fights, allowing him to dominate his opponents.

Both fighters are indeed technically skilled, but they operate at different levels. While Donaire has achieved success in his career, he cannot be compared to Manny Pacquiao, who has already left an indelible mark in boxing history. This concludes the discussion on their respective abilities and achievements. Smiley

Anyway, going back to the topic, there's only 4 days before this fight will commence, have you place your bets already?

More betting are already available now.

Thanks for the update. I think I will choose Donaire in the 4-6 round range with +1000 betting odds. I have watched some highlights of Santiago, and I like his aggressive style. We all know that Donaire is capable of knocking out opponents with that kind of style. Personally, I predict an early KO, and hopefully, it falls within the round range I have placed my bet on.

I looked at their records and highlights as well, Donaire is actually predictable with his counter but because he is fast, he can KO the slower opponents but not Inoue. Santiago has impressive records too. He hasn't fought someone popular yet so he is likely not a tested fighter yet Donaire could KO him if he still is fast.  The young Santiago though is also fast.

Donaire is the favorite so I'm just going to take my chance with Donaire by KO 3.00.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 12, 2023, 03:11:16 PM
I think Ngannou is very underrated because this is his first fight in boxing and he will fight Fury which is one of a champion in heavyweight division. Although Ngannou has no experience in boxing, but he's a world record the most powerful punch, he might able to put Fury on sleep with his one punch.

It seems like an exhibition fight. I checked Fury's record on https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/479205, but that specific fight was not listed, perhaps it hasn't been updated yet.
Nope it's a professional fight, you can check it in Fury's record on Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyson_Fury

His knockout power is all Ngannou has and it's just a manner of how he will carry out those KO punches to defeat Fury because once he could not deliver it well and he gassed out by 2nd round, he will fall. Yep, it's a pro fight but there is no belt on the line.

If the fight will be in the octagon, I think the odds would be a bit favorable to Ngannou but this is boxing so it's close to a lopsided fight. It doesn't matter for Ngannou though since this fight can generate a ton of money for him that he can't earn in UFC for a year or two. This will be millions of USD.
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: July 11, 2023, 07:19:42 PM
Bitcoin is a very good coin for gambling and playing slots games with Bitcoin is a lot of fun. and with Bitcoin I like to play slots games but when it comes to sports betting I feel more comfortable to bet with USDT stable coin. Because I often gamble with TRX.  Because its low gas fee saves a lot of fees on multiple transactions like deposit/withdraw. But I think most of the members of this forum prefer to gamble with bitcoin because bitcoin is more preferred in this forum and bitcoin is a safer holding than altcoins so everyone prefers to hold bitcoin and gamble from there.

I would understand playing with TRX if you also believe its price will also grow much in the bull run. But if you just use TRX to play because it's fast and with a low tx fee, I guess it's a bit unusual.

One reason I use TRX is that I earn TRX thru staking some projects in which I earn TRX and EOS and so i'm also keeping them to bet. TRX price is actually very stable nowadays. The price is still more than 0.07$ and its very much promising to see the price of this token unchange even in times when others are plunging down.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: July 11, 2023, 04:27:34 PM
If you are talking about conviction of a presidential candidate, or even ex-president to be fair, then you are talking about a terrible historical moment of a nation. No nation should ever have a presidential candidate that is a convicted fellon, plus not something they did as a president for sure. If a person did something that makes them a criminal due to a crime committed thanks to being a president, that is a historical problem. I am not saying he is guilty, nor am I saying he is innocent, I am saying in both cases this is terrible. If he is guilty, you guys have a president who used his presidency to commit a crime, if he is innocent then you have a president who is being scapegoated, there is no "fine" result in the end, one way or another, its terrible.

Let's let that amazing statement slip, "in both cases this is terrible". The situation in the USA is terrible in any case. Well, isn't that just f⊂cking amazing? Grin But, let's not dwell on that, shall we? We are not in the Politics & Society section after all.

What I see in your post is that Trump has very small chances to be elected. It's not like around 30%, as we could conclude from the current odds

but much less than that, and so, we shouldn't bet on him with these odds.
This is quite surprising to me to see that Donald trump has little chances of winning. I don't think so because Donald was once the president of the United States and during his time life was easy and the US economy was cool and even has reserves. Now that Biden is the president, minimum wage had increased many times making life more harder to those who can not afford food and other basic amenities. The Biden regime is never funny at all and it is leading the United States into world war that could destroy the world. This next election that is coming up, Donald has high chances of becoming the president.

Are you saying this because you are the citizen of the United States, or you just heard it from the propagandists you watch on your home telly?

Donald Trump is a disgrace to America according to most Americans, and that's why we have those odds: gamblers, even if they are totally apolitical, they just don't think Trump can be elected next year.

With the people going wild as Trump walks with Dana in UFC 290, it just shows how people support Trump. He walks there like he owns the people cheering up. Even Joe Rogan I think has set up Trump in his podcast it may happen sooner. It's a tectonic shift toward Trump as polls swing 10+ points to Trump and voters choosing the populist.

Biden in Peril as No Democrat President Has Survived a Recession Since FDR
https://www.newsweek.com/recession-joe-biden-inflation-economy-obama-reagan-1728850

One analysis I have read is that if people are going to elect a new president with the potential to be reelected, this president may concentrate more on his re-election and do more for his image. But electing a president that has no other goals but his legacy will do his best to do good for the people.  There is just got to be Biden and Trump.

1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: July 11, 2023, 03:52:04 PM

It doesn't look like it's final already and they call this an exhibition fight also, it will leave some doubts that this is just kind of a rigged game.
But this is what Ngannou has been hoping though, just some boxing match with the most renowned boxers on the planet and huge pay. Too early to say but he may really get it and Dana his best friend may just as well congratulate him.

It's very possible that Ngannou can KO Tyson. If he can't then he will really have to prepare to last for at least 5 rounds. If he can survive at least 5 rounds it's not very shameful.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 11, 2023, 03:37:00 PM

After one or 2 more fights of Nickal I think he could already get a title shot if Dana gives him a fast track. It's too soon but he already said he wants to fight Khamzat and Adesanya.

African fans of UFC has never been this confused, the continent is divided already, all the sport stations on radio in  Nigeria are all debating about the Dricus and Israel Adesayan crash, after Dricus beats Robert W. to qualified to fight his Africa brother for the middle belt champion. @Israel Adesayan the champion, both of them are Africans regardless whats they said in the ring to each other, we are rooting for both of them to succeed.

whosever, wins in this encounter no matter much to Africans, we just want to watch two brothers fighting dirty for the title, and would support the winner.

Dricus looking for support from African people while Adesanya doesn't need much to ask because they can tell he is from Africa by the color of his skin. Dricus point is that he is born in Africa and currently resides in Africa unlike those who claimed to fight for Africa. It feels like it will be a political issue soon.

1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your Thoughts On First Time Lottery Bettor Who Won Big Amount? on: July 11, 2023, 03:03:38 PM
Definitely envious lol Who wouldn't want to make that much some people are just luckier than anyone else. And he got what he wished for in his first attempt, while others are just wishing it for years yet never got the wish.

I remember buying a lottery ticket as well thinking I might win. There are days in my life when I got extra dollars to spend and a ticket wouldn't hurt if I get the chance. Sometimes I forget about the ticket the next day. Never knowing if I won. Sometimes I check.
1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 11, 2023, 02:29:30 AM
-snip-
but I don't have the ability to spend money there.
Just to spend money? You don't even have to learn specifically to enjoy the entertainment of gambling. You can make random bets with small amounts to extend the game sessions.

Or do you mean getting rich by gambling? I think you are wrong choice if you see the opportunity, most gamblers end up addicted before getting rich because they are too dedicated.

This is why freebitco made sure users will have the chance to bet with the use of the BTC they get for free from their own faucet. You could say faucets had played a role in turning users into gambling especially when these users are impatient in waiting to reach threshold.

When users learned gambling thru the coins from faucets, it wouldn't need convincing for them to deposit money out their own pocket.
1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Former SEC Chair Says Bitcoin ETF Should be Approved on: July 11, 2023, 02:17:33 AM
The only condition I think the SEC wants is for exchanges to be transparent which is coinbase. They may be concern about manipulation and inside trading. Sounds very ironic really. But we do know Blackrock always has the back of the government, it will be approved I think they've already refiled.

Coinbase stock bounce high after the ETF announcement since last month.
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice when you are going a bit far in gaming and betting on: July 10, 2023, 06:08:34 PM
Imo there is only one thing that is “you are going a bit far” in gambling - situation when you start to think how you gonna play back what you have already lost. If you start planning, that if you bet X amount and win, and that will be greater that you have lost, this means you are in a narrow path of loosing everything and making a wrong decision. If you catch yourself planning what you will do with winning amount - you are a bit far, in danger.

I agree, I would also add that anyone is even more in danger is takes things even further and tries to chase losses using money which does not belong to them, under the promise of wining big and paying it all back, you know, the typical dream of the jackpot.

It is something that happened to a Twitch streamer not long ago, he decided to ask money around to his family and friends, little they knew that money was being gambled away, truly a sad history. I do not wish something like that to happen to anyone, to be honest...

He is really going too far if he reasoned he'd use the funds for good yet he gambled the money he asked. That streamer is already addicted to gambling, its a manifestation of it, it also happened to several gamblers who are in such situation. Its no different to telling a lie and breaking the trust of his friends an d family.

This streamer must have been chasing his loss also like any other gambler who have been playing the risk.  AFAIK being a streamer is already a paid job. Its alarming that he still are reaping money from someone else.
1217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is more important for crypto users? on: July 10, 2023, 05:13:42 PM
Can you explain me why i need to learned gambling?

Simply put, here only millions of money are managed by asset owners, so where i have no money. In fact, i have ideas about gambling, but I don't have the ability to spend money there.

There are two things I would like to say you.

1. If you are asking this question means that you don't have enough knowledge about gambling.
It's actually good because trust me, you don't have to learn gambling. It's better to stay away and actually learn skills like trading and value investing.

2. Gambling is for those who already have a lot of money and don't care if they lose some of it.
It's not for those who already have less money because they will eventually lose whatever they have.

More often than not, its actually those with less money are the ones that gambles. Base from my experience and I know them because they are my neighbors who also live in this rural country side of mine. Every payday, these guys travels miles to the town to find women and back in the barracks to gamble while getting drunk.

The supervisors and the bosses are just there to give then beers to celebrate the day and then go home to their family. Never took part of their gambling frenzy.
Those rich guys who gambles I guess are gamblers already before they got rich.

But in the forum, you don't need to learn to gamble. Investing in BTC or to an Altcoin is already a a gamble.

1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How real? That football players required to bribe before they are allowed to play on: July 10, 2023, 04:52:49 PM
Hey guys, reading little story on Kylian Mbappe who on Thursday visited Cameroon on a charity with the deaf and other familiarization visit to his father's home town. He spoke with Joseph Dion Ngute, the Cameroon's Prime Minister, he was honoured visiting and I believe this is just like the humanitarian work some influential people do

But one striking revelation was that he would have been a cameroonian player if they weren't asking his father to pay them money before allowing him to play while he still trying to fix his career and French allowed him without payment.

Quote
"At first, I wanted my son to play for Cameroon, but someone at the Cameroonian Football Federation charged me money that I didn't have to make him play," he explained. " The French charged nothing."

I have also heard of some local stories about how some coaches require money from new footballers before they allow them on trier both in their clubs and national teams. Is this happening globally for new players who are still seeking to find a spot in clubs?

Do you think Cameroun miss Mbappe or it is Mbappe that missed Cameroun ?

https://theafricanhistory.com/2975#:~:text=My%20father

That is how you lose on a great player like Mbappe when you are a corrupted country like Cameroon and many other African countries lose such star players exactly because of the same reason. Also in many other third countries in the world the same is happening and I think these type of interviews should have much wider visibility so those people who asked for money would be seeing how big these players become and stop doing it.I know that it is much more difficult to achieve because we are talking about poor countries but these poor countries should start to think bigger for themselves. It would be nice to see such a player playing for Cameroon, not that I don't like seeing him play with France.

It's saddening that a team just lost a good additional player on their side just because of money. But actually, this isn't really a new thing. Corruption can happen even in sports. As a matter of fact, it can happen in any industry as long as there are existing people who are just in it for the money. For me, it's Cameroun's loss and not Mbappe since the latter can potentially make a significant impact to the performance and record of the team if he were accepted without anything in return.

Let's just hope that this kind of routine will be put into halt because it's such a waste to lose great talent and skills just because someone wants to trade it for money and not really care about what will be its benefits to the country's pride and improvement in sports.

Happens all the time I think. You see there are foreign athletes giving honor to countries where they reside because their own country didn't support them. Take for instance a pro boxer from Mexico yet fights for Cali. Or a Nigerian fighter fighting out of Denver.

Its a waste however Kylian Mbappe becomes famous and have more influence in other country. Opportunity is deprived to the Cameroon by the Cameroonian Football Federation itself.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Positive thoughts and attitude towards Bitcoin. on: July 10, 2023, 04:22:15 PM
Well timed in investing actually. Some of us didn't have the luxury to invest at the right time when the price is very low. Some invest at the peak out of curiosity while the people are cheering for more pump yet the seasoned investors are already dumping.

Since you got in the right time, you best be getting out the right time as well.  The next bear market is your first bear market experience, its gonna be the worse too if you keep believing its going up all the way. Watch the chart.
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: July 10, 2023, 04:10:07 PM
What was that thing with Robbie Lawler? Did he retire? Or was it just a celebratuon of his 30th victory? I did not manage to watch all tha post fight thing. Saw a KO, repeat but then the tv channel was switches… It is about time for him to retire. 40+ already. Remember him when he had hair and ufc fighters got funny retro trunks  Grin

Yes, he did retire. It was about time. The dude was 41. This was a good fight for him though. Managing to knock someone out who is 33, at the age of 41 is actually really good. I have to say he had a decent career. Probably not one of the best in my opinion. But anyway, congratulations on his win and the best of luck for his future endeavours.

His career record is 30-16-0-1NC.

Yep. You don't see a 41yr old knocking out ruthlessly a younger fighter everyday.
Better to retire winning the last fight than retiring while you crawl out of the cage. In his retirement fight Lawler did the fastest KO of his career which is 38 seconds. Very worth it day to announce his retirement. Nico Price must have thought, Lawler could be his easy win but turns out a losing steak for him.

It always sound like a retirement day when 41 yr old fighter is scheduled to fight like Holly Holm. Dana I guess is terminating old contracts.
