201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: February 01, 2024, 04:43:55 PM
Ngannou will also examine his previous match and learn from his mistakes. However, I simply do not think it is enough, in this next match, he is not taken lightly. Joshua improved after several wins and perhaps back to his old condition. Joshua will go out there and fire his bombs with the goal of annihilating Ngannou. Ngannou, in my opinion, is unable to keep up. But if it is a terrified Joshua, Ngannou gets an opportunity to break that chin once more.

The question is, did Fury trained hard on their fight? If Fury didn't took the fight seriously, then Ngannou could not make it as a basis for his adjustment as simply what he faced was not the real Tyson Fury. Here, this fight, his opponent AJ will trained as usual so Ngannou needs to have a big improvement as well. There's a reason why he loss on his last fight, people should stop hyping up his suppose victory because by record it didn't happen.

He now have a chance to proved to the world if he is really a legit star in boxing, so it's important to beat AJ, otherwise, people will think that he should go back to where he belonged, where he is good at.

That was just an assumption from random people, but since Fury didn't confirm that, we should assume that Fury did the right training before the fight although in the trailer he was just more on eating. Fury, always came prepared, that's why he is still undefeated until now, and honestly, in his recent fights, I haven't seen any fighter that he had a hard time beating. It's easy for him because he is smart, and I even doubt Usyk could give him a problem in their unification fight.

AJ vs Ngannou is definitely gonna attract the crowd, there's no question about that, the only question is if Ngannou can stand against AJ who has a high KO rate than Fury. 24 KO of 27 fights, that's high.

Fury did train and it's been on the videos shown while he was sparring with someone. He knows it's a real fight and he knows Ngannou has the hardest punch in MMA I don't think he will just disregard what Ngannou can do and will not prepare for it. Not preparing for Usyk fight will be Fury's end. Usyk is a much better fighter than Fury, everyone could see that on their records. Fury hasn't unified a belt.

If Mike Tyson is not on the side of Ngannou this time, probably because Mike Tyson had already taught him all he could.

203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: As a trader never settle for less on: February 01, 2024, 03:26:17 PM
It also comes from the rich trader who taught us to never settle for less.  there is a wisdom that anyone can share especially if they find themselves in a particular situation but Warren Buffet said it best:   “to be fearful when others are greedy and to be greedy only when others are fearful.”

but for me on the contrary will settle for less knowing that exiting at the right time is not my expertise. Exiting at an all-time high is next to impossible.
204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Proverbs and Sayings that Act as Triggers to Gambling on: February 01, 2024, 02:49:31 PM
There's one proverb I heard many times but can't remember the exact words but I remember it meant something like this:

"The fastest way to ruin someone's life is to let him learn to gamble."

This has got to be a sadistic way and one of the cruelest ways to ruin someone's life but if someone made you gamble and you got addicted, you have to think about who introduced you to how to gamble and if is there a motive.
205  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Binary Trade Better or Better to Buy and Hold Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2024, 03:01:40 PM
Binary trading is considered gambling, you could do this if you are really good at it but it's safer to just hold. Since you sound very newbie, it's holding BTC and keep learning first. You learn how to trade first before trying out binary trading, it's not for new traders. I think that's the reason why there are fewer platforms for binary trading anymore since more people learned it is not for them.

I have tried binary trading myself. Picking which platform is the hardest, crypto binary trading platforms are often scams.
206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VPN - Differences between countries where gambling is legal and not on: January 31, 2024, 02:12:40 PM
When the casino starts asking KYC the gambler who stays in the country where gambling is illegal will learn the difference. No difference at all and he will be banned instantly when they see the documents he is a national from a country that bans gambling.

But because some casino allows gamblers to withdraw certain amounts without KYC, the VPN users are fine. Once casinos ask KYC regardless of how much you have in the account, I guess users from those countries will start to be lesser and lesser.
207  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: January 30, 2024, 07:04:01 AM
However, I'm wondering if addiction can make someone become aggressive to the point of leading to domestic violence. Has there been any known case of it happening? Lets know what you have to say.

I do think we should have focus more on the individual and less on the activity. People tend to misbehave impulsively and then blame it on some other person or an activity for making them do whatever they did. There’s no personal responsibility for actions taken anymore.
If someone who unfortunately becomes a gambling addict, and after series of losses at the casino, goes home and roughs up his spouse, I would squarely blame the man having little to no consideration on the fact that he’s a gambling addict. I think such people would be violent to their spouses even if they don’t gamble.

It's not really because of gambling that why a person's behavior is like that, gambling is one of the reasons for triggering a person's behavior to become more angry and annoyed with their every move and action. If a person has an anger issue and it is accompanied by a series of misfortunes in gaming, they can really dump their feelings on the person they are with most of the time. Other people often blame all the ugly events because they know that a person is addicted to gambling, but they don't think that maybe his habit is really inborn.

It's about money. People who have no money often react in a manner that they sometimes pick a fight. It has been observed on many occasions where a man not able to buy what he wants is impatient and irritable.

But yes they could be blaming their misfortune on their wives and thus violence at home. This kind of violence mostly happens in poor families.  It's not just about the addicted gambler's life but to all men.

209  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do many people fail in trade? on: January 29, 2024, 03:26:38 PM

Most of the users who attempt to try trading I think have the goal in mind to learn it quickly with a crash course and hope to make a living with it.

In my case, I tried to learn quickly because there was a need for money, and wanted an immediate answer. I did lose more during my first few months maybe up to 6 months, I was just at the right time because I came to crypto just when the bull market was starting. If it weren't for it, I wouldn't have the capital to keep trying.
But eventually, I learned to only trade when the market is bullish.
210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: January 29, 2024, 03:14:31 PM
^
So many rumors going around about the main event in UFC 300. Ronda Rousey was said to have been offered $15M by Dana and so is Brock Lesnar. The super fight that Dana has been announcing yet no names have been said yet. All been rumors.

This is UFC 300 that they are planning, it should be the most awaited fight. If Dana scheduled someone who isn't someone fans expect, even if the whole APEX is on the red carpet, it will be a flop.
211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rolando Romero-Isaac Cruz to meet on March 30 in Las Vegas. on: January 28, 2024, 02:49:41 PM
I'm surprise that no one has votted for Romero here to win despite he is the defending. It seems people are not convince that he is deserving to be a champion. Isaac Cruz here the pitbull is very hungry for a win, his Legit loss (recent) came from Tank Davis which is a superstar, and it was easy and easy win for Davis, so Cruz had proven he can go toe to toe againts a champion.

If we compare Rolly and Tank Davis, it's pretty obvious that Davis is more quality as a champion, so I understand now why everyone was rooting for Isaac Cruz to win the fight. And even in the betting odds are quite surprising, Cruz is the heavy favorite.

Quote
Rolando Romero 2.50
Draw 17
Isaac Cruz 1.53

I think with Rolly's size and reach he could KO Cruz, it depends on how he will utilize this advantage knowing his opponent is a much-experienced fighter. Both came out from the loss of Tank, I think they learned a lot from that fight emotionally and improved their fighting skills.

Cruz winning this fight we might be seeing a unified fight again maybe Browny Matias or Teo. Whoever wins I think.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is nothing like it since the past 12 years on: January 28, 2024, 02:23:44 PM
Same here. I have no other means to make it to rise from poverty but Bitcoin. I have to keep on holding to the very little amount of BTC I have since it's the only wealth I have to go on.  If my family had some spare that they could invest in BTC, I would have told them to buy more but because of the rising prices of everything today, I doubt they will have something to set aside for something that is not tangible.

I'm just curious why you would have to eat one meal a day when you are living with your parents. You can serve your parents, be their handy man and do the house chores for them and cook for them, I'm sure they can feed you more than once a day.
213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When I'm emotional, I LOSS! on: January 28, 2024, 01:43:11 PM
Hey, guys! Are any of you emotional gamblers who often lose because you can't control what you feel? When you lose, do you tend to double your bets or chase your losses, driven by a pride that can't accept defeat? Do you consider this a problem? If so, has anyone here been able to solve this kind of problem themselves, and if yes, how did you do it?

I have this problem, and based on my personal experience, I find that sometimes I get challenged but not too greedy because I don't have a problem quitting when I'm winning. However, when I'm losing, that's where my struggle lies.

That's why I shared it here; I feel that some of you may experience the same challenges, and I'd love to hear your ideas or experiences on how to win this battle so we can enjoy gambling.

Lots of people experienced this, even myself at first when I was just new to gambling, and this kind of behavior is difficult to manage, mostly controlling it unless you have really a will to stop it by learning it in your own way. Like myself, I keep chasing my losses when I first gamble, but when I taste the first of my big losses because of chasing them, that is the time I realized that it is not good, so I changed my perspective and I just gamble based on my budget.

Everyone's issue when they are new to playing casino games. Every time I'm in a hurry to win, I fight myself not to deposit again already but during my first days, I can't help it.

As a first-time user who learned from an article that it's easy to make money from online casinos, I tend to regularly do it and sometimes I win but after some time, I realized it I'm losing more when I'm in a hurry to decide.
214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is addiction bad only when it is a problem? on: January 27, 2024, 03:42:15 AM

It probably is rare. But I think you will consider gambling addiction not a problem when you are winning all the time. I wouldn't mind my addiction to if I'm just winning and making huge money out of it.

But when money started drying up because of addiction, that when it becomes a problem. Especially when the addict begins to steal someone else money just so he can gamble.
215  Economy / Gambling / Re: What will happen if I start a game verified by the hash of block? on: January 27, 2024, 03:34:29 AM
Are talking about the result of the games base on the hash numbers found in the hash?

There was a project that has same idea l, the project died eventually. It was way ahead of its time I guess and only few are using it. There are newer projects like this one but are using other L1 blockchain and somehow its been up for awhile.

216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who Can Explain What This Guy is Saying About Bitcoin On Reddit? on: January 27, 2024, 03:23:57 AM
I could do the same for Eth address but identifying the seed of a particular BTC address I think is what they mean to be the most difficult which could make him try for 20k years.

I dont know what the guy is trying to prove but if he really could do it, he would have provided one of his wallet where he send coins from the wallet he guessed its seed as an ultimate test.
217  Economy / Economics / Re: Save while young better than wait on: January 26, 2024, 04:05:20 PM

After learning inflation can devalue your cash, I wouldn't really recommend saving in this untimely situation where the inflation keeps rising. Today, what a person should do is become a prepper and spend his money on what he can afford for now because he may not afford it later. And if a person can afford to invest instead, then it's a better choice than saving.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: To any Bitcoin holder who lost their seed: How did you lose it? on: January 26, 2024, 03:47:33 PM

It was just private ky during that time, seed wasn't introduced yet when I lost my access to one of my old BTC wallets.

I wrote the private key in a text file on my laptop. I kept the laptop under my table for a longtime. I barely couldn't remember which folder I hid that text file anymore. Too paranoid that someone would access it so I hid the file somewhere that I myself can't remember. And worse the password as well. It's not huge anyway.
219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: gambling for fun vs gambling for the financial benefit. on: January 26, 2024, 03:29:13 PM

If you are betting with friends, I think it can be fun and most certainly people will look at this as you are just gambling for fun but if you do regularly and already betting large sums, it wouldn't look like you are gambling for fun anymore.

how much can you put into gambling before it removes the fun aspect of gambling out of it?

anything that is wagered in the gambling platform is something that you deliberately gamble to win an amount. It doesn't remove the aspect of fun but you are gambling seriously already.
220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tim Tszyu vs Keith Thurman WBO super welterweight Title March 31 on: January 25, 2024, 04:26:05 PM

No Tszyu vs Crawford anymore because of this match. This is the first fight to be showcased by Amazon/PBC and all they could come up with is Thurman who had been so dormant for a long time. There were lots of fighters signing a deal with PBC but Thurman being the main event was much unexpected and it's a mismatch.
Erislandy Lara and Michael Zerafa are among the card. This one is a fair fight.
